Can someone help point me to a illustrated example of set-up?
Are there any illustrated resources ie: screen shots of sample step-by-step setup for either standalone or work group set-ups? I am in desperate need of help and am not a network guy, so many responses seem like a foreign language to me. PLEASE ANYONE, HELP!

With some of the drivers in the Driver Matrix, if you click on Learn more... next to the driver, you will be taken to a page where a list will be at the bottom with .exe files of all the versions of that have been released. You may be able to find some of the drivers this way. For the video drivers, you may be able to find them on Nvidia's site if you cannot find them in the Driver Matrix.

Adam .... thanks, but I don't see any links on the "Learn More" page for past drivers .... just a list of previous releases.
I agree with harrisb that Lenovo needs to get it's act together with better access to previous drivers (like IBM allowed when they were still providing Lenovo's support up until recently).
And what's the deal here recommending Nvidia reference drivers directly from Nvidia? .... that is contrary to recent Lenovo Support advice.

Can Someone Help With .msn (hotmail) IPAD e-mail Screen Set Up?

The MSN people have been no help at all. I'm trying to get the .msn (hotmail) set up in the IPAD so I can see the "Folders", "E-mails" then the "Reading Pane" from >left to right< at the same time. All I get now is one e mail ail per line on down the screen. No folders or reading pane. See the .JPG photo!
Have to tap the folders to fet them to open seperatly. If I log on to .MSN via the "PC", all looks fine but not on the IPAD...Thank you....KenThanks Skydiver...Yes I have MSN (hotmail) on the IPAD's e-mail list along with Gmail Yahoo and so on.
It's basically useless since all my "folders" or on .MSN and you can't create any new folders in the IPAD's e mail system...........>REALLY< strange. I probably have 25 folders in .MSN.
Everything looks great on the PC on the MSN e-mail but not on the IPAD!!!

It sounds like your phone is in recovery mode, which means it needs to be restored through iTunes on your computer in order to get out of it.

I can't get my brand new IPOD Nano to work - can someone help?
I have donwloaded 7.3 but when it gets to the point it is supposed to launch I get an error message saying it is on a locked disk taht I do not have permission to write to - I don't know what that means. I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall 7.3 multiple times but I still get the same message . . . can someone help?

While watching an iTunes movie from my Apple TV, why does my movie stop playing at the 1 hour mark? I'm assuming I have a setting causing this to happen, but I have no idea what setting needs to be changed. Can someone help me?
It's right at an hour (consistently), but the computer goes to sleep prior to that. It's as if iTunes goes to sleep. Also, it wasn't always this way. Originally, the movies played through without interruption. At some point, I guess a setting was changed, and now I only get an hour. Also. My energy settings are set to go to sleep at 10 minutes.

Can someone help me with this powerpoint viewer with director issue?
I have 'inherieted' an interactive CD that was built using director mx2004. I get presentations from different people and put them on a CD to hand out at the end of a seminar. For the Power Point presentations I have director use the powerpoint viewer just in case someone does not have PowerPoint on there machine. This works fine, but I have been getting people that are using PowerPoint 2007 which uses a different extension (pptx instead of ppt). I also have word documents, adobe pdf, ect. Here is the code that handles how to open up the files, whether using PPT viewer or the default program. wasn't sure if you needed all of this or not.

I have been trying to get the pptx files to also open in the viewer. I have been able to do this, but the problem is it wants to try to open everything in viewer.

ThanksIt's unclear what exactly is the problem: is it managing to distinguish and open PowerPoint 2007 (*.pptx) files, or is it that every file tries to run in PPTView.exe?
Part of your problem might be that .pptx is 4 characters long, while .ppt is only 3, and the code dealing with the file extension:
fileExt = selectedFile.char[(selectedFile.length-2)..selectedFile.length]
will only grab the last 3 characters regardless of where the "." is.
Create a new #movie script member (press Ctrl + Shift + U and then hit the + button - "New Cast Member" - at the top-left of the script window that opens). Set the script syntax to JavaScript by altering the drop-down just below the + button and paste in the following:

However, I'm nervous that you aren't supplying the full path to files and executables. I don't know where the movie file that contains this code is relative to the folder "launchers\" or "workshops\" put I suggest you prepend the movie's full path (or the application's full path) like so:

My iphone showed up just fine on itunes. So did my ipad. Then my iphone stopped being recognized by itunes. Now when I plug it in itunes sees it as my ipad. Can someone help me to get it back the way it should be?

Can someone help me change the line width of my numbers table, its not set to thin or none and its stuck on pt25. its a spreadsheet i imported from excel.

Apparently the import wasn't a good one.
The best option at this point might be to start a new table. Insert a new Table, Copy the old table cell range, select the first cell in the new table and Edit > Paste and Match Style. This will throw out all the old formatting. A bit of work, but a nice clean start.

I just updated to 10.8.4 and my mail program is showing a series of boxes with AAAAs inside them instead of the email addresses. Also when on Safari web pages are displaying the same AAAAAs instead of type. Firefox displays fine. Can someone help me?
Restart your Mac and immediately hold down the Shift key when you hear the startup chime to boot into Safe Mode. Keep holding the Shift key until you see a progress bar towards the bottom of the screen. You can let go of the Shift key at that point.
OS X asks you to log in (you will get this screen on a Safe Mode boot even if your Mac is set to automatically log in). Let the Mac finish booting to the desktop and then restart normally. This will clear Font Book's database and the cache files of the user account you logged into in Safe Mode.
Next, close all running applications. From an administrator account, open the Terminal app and enter the following command. You can also copy/paste it from here into the Terminal window:
sudo atsutil databases -remove
Terminal will then ask for your admin password. As you type, it will not show anything, so be sure to enter it correctly.
This removes all font cache files. Both for the system and the current user font cache files. After running the command, close Terminal and immediately restart your Mac. -
Odd RV042 behavior can someone help shed some light?
We have a group of 4 x RV042 routers linking the 3 branch offices back to the head office via VPN site to site tunnels. Also each of the sites has dual ISP connection, one from a cable provider and the other a DSL connection operating in smart link backup mode with tunnels configured for when each wan is active. In the past week one of the branch offices RV042 started failing over to the secondary DSL WAN link when the primary cable ISP WAN IP was expired and was being refreshed.
The odd behavior starts a few hours after the switch over, the system log reports that the router restarted but with no error reported and it shows the date being December 31 2002 beginning with a System Up message then the firmware message which is at 1.3.12.19 and establishes a connection with the primary WAN at this point I can ping the public IP but I cannot connect to the router nor can the users at the branch browse the web or establish VPN connectivity to the main office. This condition persists until the router is physically powered down and back on at which time it shows the correct date and time and all operations work well for the day. I must note the behavior seems to only occur between 5am - 7am so I want to believe that this behavior is tied to the ISP IP lease cycle, but it only affects one branch office with all offices using identical ISP's, setup and configuration.

Thank you for posting. I wish I had a brilliant explanation for you that would immediately solve the problem. Unfortunately I have not seen this before. There is a possibility that the configuration file is corrupt or has been changed inadvertently. I think I would set the router to factory defaults and manually reconfigure it. There is also the option of swapping the router for another. If the other router does the same thing it could point to an environmental issue. If this router does the same thing at the alternate location it could point to either a configuration or hardware issue.
