Can someone please check this out

appears listed under All Content.
However, when I use Refine this list and select Using your iMac Intel, which is where it belongs, it disappears. it is not listed in any of the other subforums. It may sometimes shows up in Overview. I have no idea why or when it will.
After opening and then closing Refine this list, it doesn't appear any longer in All Content.
If I use my browser bookmark, which is set for iMac Intel> Overview>Using your iMac Intel, it may appear for a split second and then disappear.
I don't know if this matters: I start my visit to Using your iMac Intel through my browser bookmark. Then, from there, I may navigate to All Content.
This behavior, of which this particlar thread is only one example, is really driving me nuts.
I'm wondering if anyone else can reproduce or has seen this.
EDIT: I just moved from All Content to Overview and, inexplicably, it is now showing up.

My iPod mini, 4gb is hard to get serviced obviously because they dont make them anymore

It's called a dock connector, not a USB port.
i found a product in the online store, that i guess you place the ipod mini on, and it gives you up to 20 or so more hours of time but then it says that you have to have a firewire port or cable?
What is it? The firewire port is on the computer, not the iPod.
If the original battery is going bad, the first thing to do is get that sorted out.

Had an Iphone 4 for about 3 months now. This happened to the first one I had and they ended up having to replace it at the apple store just a couple weeks ago 6/2. It happened again last night to my new one. This time i was able to correct it by going to itunes, backing up the phone to icloud, and then restoring the software. Mine did not work with voice memo, but did work with headphones plugged in, and would also work on speaker. I could hear callers but they couldn't hear me. I had purchased a new case (lifeproof case at $79.99) because it comes with plugs that cover the headphone jack, and the charging port, and is also waterproof. I heard that the root cause is due to lint, dirt, etc getting inside the headphone jack. Well, must be something else. It's a 10 days old phone, and has been in this overpriced case the whole time, and I have not used the headphones. I hope this doesn't keep happening.

I have the i7-720 and the processor and I can attest to the W510 overheating. I recently had my planar replaced under warranty and it returned with an overheating issue for heavy processor loads. This overheating was resolved by properly applying thermal paste (lenovo applied about 3x as much as was needed) while the GPU continues to overheat and cause stuttering. If I run furmark in any resolution for a length of time at maximum fan speed and watch the GPU overheat, throttle, and overheat again. This would all be fine if it didn't cause the whole system to lag terribly in games or on the desktop.
In my view the design of the GPU cooler and thermal pads for the GPU memory cooling are very sensitive to installation. The cooler is easy to bend and the pressure clamp for the GPU isn't really designed to a certain tolerance. It's simply a clamp with a bent part that will apply some random amount of pressure to the gpu cooler.
It's just such a delicate system of cooling that there is too much room for error. It has to be installed correctly in order to function properly and I don't think there is really a good way of making sure that you've done it without running benchmarks for hours after reinstalling the cooler. I don't think this is something Lenovo is going to do. There aren't any options from Lenovo for a better heat sink design and I am pretty sure not everyone is having these issues.
So I'm going to mess with the GPU cooler until it starts working. Here's a furmark screenshot showing the temps.

Can someone please Interpret this EtreCheck for me? Macbook Pro Boot Time Really Slow.

Can someone please give me detailed instruction on what to do no next. I've read several forum discussion on this subject and seen various examples. i would like help with mine. Reason being is because my MBP boot up time is almost around 2-3mins long sometimes it can even be upto 5mins. reason i ask is because i know this is not normal. compared to my macbook (mid-2010) this is REALLY slow. And all the specs of my MBP should in theory make my MB a thing of the past. (Why i bought the MBP in the first place). i've done PRAM reset and booted in Safe Mode. i've removed several applications using the correct uninstalls where required.
i have ran a terminal commands to clear the kernal caches and got these results (not sure if it will help). And neither have made a difference.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes) in the search box. Note the timestamps of those log messages, which refer to the times when the system was booted. Now clear the search box and scroll back in the log to the last boot time when you had the problem. Select the messages logged after the boot, during the time something abnormal was happening. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
For example, if the problem is a slow startup taking three minutes, post the messages timestamped within three minutesafter the boot time, not before. Please include the BOOT_TIME message at the beginning of the log extract.
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
Step 2
Still in Console, look under System Diagnostic Reports for crash or panic logs, and post the entire contents of the most recent one, if any. In the interest of privacy, I suggest you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if present (it may not be.) Please don’t post any other kind of diagnostic report, such as hang logs — they're very long and not helpful.

I cannot get the following to work but according to the mainstage manual this should work. Could someone please try this and see if this works:
a. Create a new concert based on any template. Delete all patches except one (lets call this remaining patch X).
b. Add a Bass instrument channel strip at the Concert level (by selecting the Concert in the patch list and then hitting the '+' button on the right within the Channel strips and selecting Software Instrument).
c. Set the Concert level Bass instrument channel strip to play only on the first 2 octaves or so, by setting the Key Range parameters appropriately.
d. Click on the remaining patch X. You should see that it automatically has your bass instrument as a split on the left hand octaves on the Mainstage keyboard displayed. So everything good so far.
d. Now save the concert with any name.
e. Close the concert.
f. Re-open the same concert again. Click on the patch X. At this point I would expect the Bass instrument to be showing on the lower octaves. This does not happen for me.
I've spent a couple of days trying to see if I'm doing something wrong, but cannot figure this out. Please please someone let me know the outcome of trying the above. And if I'm doing something wrong to get this to work, kindly let me know.

Thank you all for your suggestions and taking the time to try this out. I think I've sussed out what the problem is.
If you create them like Thor mentions that always seems to work. Thor, I don't understand what you mean by hitting the "+" in the channel strip area. Doing this creates an additional channel strip and not a new patch.
What I was trying to do before was to include all patches in a set as well. So I have my Concert, then a Set, then patches within my Set. If I added a Bass at the concert level, it looks like this was then propagated to all my patches in my set. But when I closed Mainstage and re-opened, the bass wasn't there at the Set or patch level.
I really think there is a bug with Mainstage, where if you have Sets and patches within sets, any instruments at Concert level do not get inherited by the Set, patches in the set. I've tried this a few times and tried without using Sets. It always seems to work without Sets.
So the lesson is not to use Sets, if you want to share concert level intruments.

You may not get a response as you are shouting at everyone.
All caps indicates shouting, is considered rude, and is difficult to read.

Yes, it is fine. As a general rule of thumb, if it works....
As with any language there are good habits and bad habits. Your VI is pretty simple and works as it should.
Now for constructive critisism:
Try to minimize unneccessary bends in the wires.
Apply comments to your code. You can utilize the Free label decoration in the decorations palette, so as to provide for a standardized color...but feel free to adopt your own color codes.
Do not create unneccessary tunnels in loops as it will create increase your memory allocation. In your example you ran the same data out twice, thus causing twice the memory to be utilized.
Get used to using the error clusters. If a VI has error out, it should be wired. You can also use these to sync your data flow (error out to error in.)
Once you get better at this and in the short term, I would also recommend the following.
Standardize your naming conventions for VIs and sub-Vis. Usually very descriptive names are better.
Turn off the automatic error handling in LabVIEW. You should control when and where errors are handled. Some errors are OK and can be handled by your application. Auto error handling will put up a prompt every time an error is passed out.
Turn off the auto-wiring and auto-wire routing. This usually leads to unnecessary bends in wires and frustration from LabVIEW wanting to wire to the wrong terminal, especially when they are close together.
Use the VI icons. Set the default font in the Icon editor to small fonts 10 point and at least type in some text. If you are a creative individual, draw pretty pictures.
Always include extra terminals when setting up the inputs and outputs to allow you expandability without having to re-compile. I personally perfer the 10 or 12 terminal block as it is nice and symetrical.
Always, always, always document your VI and what it does in the VI documentation property.
I could go on and on, but this should be enough to get you started. Remember, good habits are easy to follow, bad habits are hard to break!

Can someone please answer this for me!!!!

Okay I found all my music on my external hard drive. I have pointed iTunes to the location of the hard drive and the music files. I moved the iTunes.xml and iTunes library file to there as well. It appears iTunes created a new folder called COMPLIATIONS in my music library and alot of my music ended up in there, how can I remove the files from that folder and back into my music library without that whols adding files to the library? Also now half of my music has the exclamtion point on half of them, but the files are in the correct place, how do I fix that as well? Please help me out

There's no easy solution for your current situation, but keep a few things in mind going forward...
• The two Library files are hard coded to live in c:\documents & settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes Changing the library location in iTunes preferences will not affect these two critical files.
• Take care that the external hard drive holding your music files always comes up at the same drive letter, and that it is on-line and available before you launch iTunes.
I have not seen a Windows utility/script that can rectify the "!"/lost file issue. I also haven't looked for a while - so maybe someone will come along and surprise me with link to something that can do the repair.

hello I am a student and up to this poit being my second year in java I have not had any problems. I am working on an asignment but my teacher is away and I don't understand exactly what his assignment asks for. Can someone briefly decipher it for me, any help would be appreciated.

Define three classes with the following functions and relationship
among them:
The class Thought contains a method message which implements to print out the message �I�m a teacher.�;
The class Advice is a subclass of the class Thought. The class Advice also contains a method message, the name is the same as its
superclass�, however the method message of class Advice is to print

The class Messages contains a main method and it should instantiate two instances, one is from the class Thought and the other is from the class Advice.

We're not going to do this for you, but the problem is simple. It may help you to start by drawing what you want on paper.
You need three classes, named Thought, Advice and Message.
Thought and Advice each have a method that prints a message, perhaps called printMessage().
Advice extends Thought.
Message contains your main method, within which you will create one instance of Advice, and one of Thought.
The point of the practical is to show how the method in Advice overrides the method in Thought. I am, however disbelieving of the assertion that this is a 2nd year Java practical - it's the kind of thing I'd expect you to tackle after the first lecture.

Hello, please check this out..

I have an iPhone 2G 8GB and my problems are:
1. My iPhone is stuck on Connect to iTunes
2. My iPhone's screen is GREEN
3. When I tried to restore the software, my phone would turn off then cancels the software restoring.
4. When I unplug my iPhone 2G it will suddenly shut off and pressing the Power button can't get my iPhone on.
5. I get errors like 1611, 1600, 1603 after the software restore failed.
These are the actual pictures:
-I know that Error 1611 is hardware issue, should i replace my battery?
-Should I use original apple sync cable?
-What are the remedies?
Please help, this is my one and only first iPhone. I live here in Philippines..

What you have is
Son1 IS A Father
Son2 IS A Father
Are you sure that is what you want, while the Sons will most likely end up as Fathers, as you only want the Father constructor called once it sounds like you want a
Son1 HAS A Father.
To do this you need to user composite relation.
I.e.
class Father {
   Father() {
       System.out.println( "Daddy!" );
class Son {
private final Father myFather;
   Father( Father myFather ) {
       this.myFather = myFather;
       System.out.println( "Son" );
public static void main( String[] args ) {
    Father baba = new Father();

I need someone to do this quick check, so I don't have to install Vista in vain.
I mainly use MIDI interface for compositions and playback. So, could anyone please find a MIDI file with some FASTER parts, play it, and check if there are any dropouts or note misplacements?
It was the issue in all previous driver versions, so please, somebody check this for me will ya?

Here is the link to 2 faster midi files... If you have Windows Vista, X-fi and new drivers, please listen to them and tell me do they sound good or bad. Are there any dropouts, or any other issues?
