i reacently bought an app from apple and i redeemed a $10 gift card but the still billed me for the cost of it.
Can someone please help me, I'm really frustrated.
you need to take off your C.C # and data off your record and then it will be charged to the card than put it back in after your done

CourtneyWere you able to launcn iWeb as part of the second fix, that of creating a new domain file? Did iWeb open then? If not boot into Safe Mode and see if iWeb will launch. If it does reboot normally and try again.
If still a no go log into another user account on your Mac and see if iWeb will launch and open a domain file? If so than there's something in your account that is the culprit.
If you can't launch iWeb in the other user account then a reinstallation of iWeb seems warranted. To do so you'll have to delete the current application and all files with "iPhoto" in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder,

You do realise that wiping the disk means that everything on the disk is erased. Everything. Photos, music, emails, ...
So the first piece of advice is to make sure you have a back up of everything.
You need the OS disk to reintsall the operating system. You will use that disk first to erase the drive, then to reinstall the OS.

My Wifi no longer works - can someone please help me? My
so my internet hasn't worked properly in two weeks. I can get it to work for five seconds but then it cuts off and no longer works. The wifi is fine on all my devices except my iMac. I am attempting to download ITunes on my new computer which is Windows 8 OS. Unfortunately I continue to get an error indicating that the app could not be downloaded, another time it was only partially downloaded, I turned off the firewall and that still didn't help. Jim and Rob, thank you for taking your time to respond. I have a mac & a pc with 4 gigs of RAM in each. I originally experienced the problem on my mac and afterwards the same thing happened on the pc. I shoot with a canon 5d mark iii and never had this problem before, but what I'm realizing is that I'm running out of space on both the mac & the pc. After an afternoon of shooting today, I filled up a 32-gig card, so my TB hard drives are filling up ridiculously fast. I need to drop some load off both drives and reboot. Hope this will resolve the issue as I really don't think it's a canon-LR problem (I'm using the most updated 5.6 version). Again, thanks for your input. I'll keep you posted.

Well, if you updated to 8.2, then you are living in a different world than the rest of us. 8.1 was just released on Monday.
Do you not have an iCloud or iTunes backup that you can restore to? Have you not been importing your photos to a photo library on your computer?
Maybe you could start from the beginning and we can see if we can help. If you had to restore your device, and you have absolutely no backups, then, I'm afraid you are out of luck. However, if you have backups, or if you have been importing your photos on a regular basis, then probably most of your stuff can be recovered.

After restoring to factory settings/new iPod you will then have to restore from backup
To restore from backup see:

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
