Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Hello,
I just got home from my local Apple store with my new Nano. I came home and synced it with about a quarter of my library until it was 75% full, Ejected it, and put my headphones in and played a song..
I noticed that the sound seemed sort of strange, which is unusual because I already have an iPod with all of these songs on it.
Sooo I tried it with the headphones that it came with, and I got the same thing.
After playing around with it for a while i found out that it's because of the stereo headphones.. One of them will play the music normally and one will not. If I push the headphones in about half way i get good quality song.. but i have to hold it in that way.
Does anyone know a quick fix?
Please help me quickly!
Thank you.For whatever reason it was, my headphone jack was messed up on the ipod. I took it back to the Apple retail store and got an exchange. Apple has never done me wrong.

My new MacBook Retina cannot play any videos on any browser. This includes the Apple videos. It keeps saying Missing Plug-In. I am not sure what I am supposed to do. Can someone please help me out?

It's called a dock connector, not a USB port.
i found a product in the online store, that i guess you place the ipod mini on, and it gives you up to 20 or so more hours of time but then it says that you have to have a firewire port or cable?
What is it? The firewire port is on the computer, not the iPod.
If the original battery is going bad, the first thing to do is get that sorted out. -

I would to a Restore. Select the iPod in iTunes. Go to the Summary tab for the iPod. There is a button there to do a Restore. This will erase the iPod, re-install its software, and set it to default settings. After Restore complete, try playing songs on the iPod again.
If THAT does not fix the problem, and it's not bad headphones (since you also tried the "speaker"), there is probably a hardware problem on the iPod. All 7th gen nanos are still under warranty. If you have an Apple Store nearby, you should take it to the store's Genius Bar. To minimize waiting, you can make a reservation on store's web page.

Are you able to receive any mail at all? If not, make sure that all of your information for mail is accurate in settings again. if you still have nothing, go to your email through safari. (example: www.yahoo.com) If you do not see the emails here either, it is a problem with the password reset server not your mail app.

I updated my iPad mini to ios 7.0.2 couple days ago. Everything was fine until yesterday. I noticed that it seemed to have a mind of its own. Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
If no joy...
Reset all settings
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings.
This will return all iDevice settings to factory defaults... you will not lose any data.... But you will have to re-enter all of the device settings.
If the issue persists...
Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and Restore

Thank youThe thread running through your explanation has to do with connectivity to your server. (iCloud out of the blue asking for password, unable to message your boyfriend, unable to access e-mail). You said that you boyfriend restart his device and then the two of you were able to then imessage. My best advice for you would be to go to settings to reset to reset network settings. Once this has been done you then will need to enter the name and password of your wifi. ONce this is done you then can attempt to check to see that all passwords are enter correctly.

I have iPad 4th Generation with iOS 6.1.3 Since my iBooks was updated to version 3.1.1 I cannot open pdf file attachment in my email. When I tap of the attachment, the iBooks icon no longer show itself. Can someone please help?

Reset the device did not help me but it does triggers me to attempt to resend the PDF file attachment on email--and it works the 2nd time. My problem is now solved.
The Adobe Reader is very helpful--it allows me to scroll through the document easily, unlike iBooks, where I cannot scroll straight up or down. -

Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen.
