I have been working on a file in pages which I cannot open now. Every time I select it "an error occurred and pages must close" appears and pages shuts down. I have tried to duplicate the document but cannot open the copy either. I am unable to email, share via iwork, itunes, idisk or WebDAV all of these options just close pages down. Does anyone have any ideas......Thank you

Let's summarise, for those reviewing this threadless thread for app support..
Mobile pages works reliably for simple docs, especially creating letters and Menus for Microsoft's Kindy canteen (even on special days with nice big pictures).
When importing more complex docs and/or working with larger creations, it is prone to randomly corrupting files upon re-opening, along similar lines as Word (running on a PC).
So, Menu Boy, do they let you sneak into classes every now and then? What is the secret to their training? Have an iPod touch 4th gen. It is completely charged, but once I disconnect from a power source it shuts down and then the apple logo just keeps reappearing. I have restored via iTunes and reset all the settings. Any suggestions?
If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

I have had CC subscription for some years to my little laptop. But now I also bought me a stationary Imac 27 "screen so that I can work better, so I only use my laptop when I am traveling and so forth.
So my question is whether this CC subscription I have, is both to a desktop Mac and a laptop Mac? I think that I was told when I started CC subscription that this was for both desktop Mac and a laptop.
And my question is also, how do I install CC on my new Imac?You are allowed to have working installations on two machines, and they can both be the same platform or they can be different platforms. Install it the same way you did with your laptop... get the CC desktop manager, sign in, install the applications.

I have been using adobe digital editions sucessfully til 3 days ago but now i get an error message
I down load a book from my library and when the down load appears on the botton of the screen and I clikc on ot to down load it to digital edditions an error screen appears on the digital editions screen in staed of the book which says transmission error verrify that the computer is connected to the internet. The computer id clearly connectedto the internet as I have already been on the library web site. I tried uninstalling the digital editions software and reinstaliing it but that did not help. any suggestions how to fix this?

-buggy
-glitching out during games
-apps shut down on me while i use them
-battery life (apple says) lasts for 48 hours. for me it lasts 2 hours
-no way to downgrade
-terrible background choices (kinda lame, but still)
-apps are neon (ick)
-terrible design layouts
-safari ***** (as usual) with its search bar functioning as web address search as well
-mail badge says i hate not read mail when i have
-passcode can be surpassed
-game center push notifications will not go away
-will not sync with my mac
APPLE PLEASE LET US DOWNGRADEI'm sorry, but Apple does not provide a downgrade path for iOS. Because downgrading is unsupported by Apple we cannot discuss it on these forums.

I have been backing up iMovie 08 files to my external drive, but for some reason I can't open these files in iMovie. I used drag and drop to copy them.
You really should be doing backups with an actual backup application, especially one that will work automatically, and, if your external HD is large enough, back up your entire system. These can automatically back up only what's changed since the previous backup, and some will keep "archive" copies of things you've changed or deleted, also.
Too many things can go wrong, such as your internal HD failing, and you'll have a major project to reinstall everything.
You already have Time Machine, built-in to OSX. You might want to review the Time Machine Tutorial, and perhaps browse Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions.
