Can someone point me to a dynamic form example?

I'm very new to JSF.
Simply put, I want to be able to create a page that can have a dynamic form on it. A form with potentially several fields on it defined at run time. Making it even more exciting, it will ideally support the File Upload as well.
Do I need to create an entire JSF component for that, or can I assemble standard JSF components at run time and present the page?
Is there an example somewhere that someone could guide me to?

Can someone PLEASE point me to a working example?
I use Java only very rarely, and only when forced to, and I am not an expert. Frankly, in spite of being expert in a dozen other languages I am COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT in Java. I'm just trying to get this project done and out of my hair so I can safely forget all about Java for the next year or two. I'd give the project to someone else, but every other coder in the shop refuses to go anywhere near Java.
If I can get this one thing working I can call the project done and be out of here.
I have a working ap that just needs to close its own window when a button is clicked, for some (user specified) period of time like 10 or 15 minutes, and then reopen its window after that period of time. It is intuitively obvious that I should be able to use timer methods, or sleep() , or wait(), but I have not been able to get any of those to work, and the error messages are more cryptic than ancient Sumerian cuneiform.
I've Googled for a working example, but haven't found anything that I can figure out. The examples I've found presuppose far more expertise than I posses, and have far too many pieces missing. Can anyone just point me to a complete example of an ap that sleeps for some period of time and then wakes up again?
I would really, really appreciate the help, and once I've finished this project I promise I won't ever bother you again. Really.

I've been searching through the various folders on my Mac Pro hard drive and cannot see where user data is stored.As an example, I deleed Skype and reloaded it and my old profile data is still available. but I cannot determine where it is stored. Skype and other applications as well may store all their data within their application package. Or they store their data elsewhere such as the Documents folder, as I mentioned.
There are hidden folders but they are system folders and files. There is no reason for you to ever access them.
Skype may also store all that it needs to function in its /Home/Library/Preferences/ preference folder. The storage of any other produced data is located wherever the user designates.
iPhoto stores your photos in the iPhoto Library which is found in your /Home/Pictures/ folder.

Can someone point me to a picture of playlist selection on 4g ipod nano?

Hi, my wife is traveling and before she left, I loaded her 4g nano with playlists from itunes, but she emailed and says there is no menu selection for playlists, just artists and albums. can someone point me to some graphical instructions or a display of the playlist selection on the nano (that i can then point her too?). I use an iphone, and it's right there at the bottom of the screen, but i have no idea where on the clickwheel you have to go. I emailed her the Apple UG for that model, but I can barely decifer it myself, so a picture tut would really help. thx!!!

You may then need to tweak its corners using the corner pin tool to get it to sit in the right perspective plane. You may find you need to soften the edges of the top layer image so its not so sharp and hard. For this you probably would need to add a mask and soften its edges. Then you might need to add some noise and/or colour correction to make it sit naturally with the background image. and finally if there are any shadows cast over the picture frame you will need to add them back over the new image. You can use a black shape, with its opacity cranked down with a blur filter on it.
The manual describes all of these process pretty well.

using windows xp you need to first put your library in a central location. ex.
C:\Music
by default in iTunes stores in C:\documents and settings\user\documents\My music\itunes Library.
You can change this under your preferences\ advanced window in iTunes.

In windows control panel you will need to create a second user account and then load iTunes and map your iTunes to the correct library location.
I make sure that one user is "master account" meaning that, that is the account that I load all of the music into and organize through or you will find you will run out of HD space rather fast.

ATSC stuff will appear on there sometime in the future.

Can someone help me with HTTP Dynamic Streaming?

I have been googling the crap out of this. I am a video producer for a Non-Profit and in the next couple of weeks we are launching an online training, half of which requires watching multiple different video clips – for this particular training around 50 deferent online videos. I’m a bit experienced with encoding video for the web (FLV, H.264) but would love to know more about HTTP Dynamic Streaming. As of now we just use a progressive download type of playing. We recently hired a web dev and knows servers a bit but didn’t seem like he knew anything about HTTP Dynamic Streaming – said maybe we should search the internet for an auto detecting flash player? Anyways, is this something that I should be looking into for our organization if we do a lot of online video? If we purchased Flash Media Server would this be all we need? Is there like a Dummies book on this subject? Thanks for any help

Thanks Saeroner for showing interest in HDS. This is definetely a new era technology.
As I said in my earlier post, I would like you to encourage to download the developer version of the FMS. In case of HDS, this version restricts you to 30 minutes of viewing time.
So for example, once you have installed the FMS, go to <installation-dir>/samples/videoPlayer/videoplayer.html. Open the player and yourself evaluate the HDS vs progressive HTTP
For progressive HTTP, you may play http://localhost/vod/sample1_150kbps.f4v
For HDS, you may play http://localhost/hds-vod/sample1_150kbps.f4v
Though, video quality may not be different, but you may find buffering happening in case of progressive, while HDS will be instant delivery.
Other than this, the main point that I feel you might be really interested as online training company is that you may not like to freely distribute the content to the subscribers.. In case you can win the trust of training content creater that his/her content will be completely protected and can be viewed only to those having rights to view it, it will encourage content creater to host their content on your solutions. Today when premium content creation is so expensive, one would not like it to be get pirated by progressive downloads..
FMS within HDS provides you facility to completely protect your content. Though that's a bigger step..
Other than this, in today's world.. Desktops are not the only medium to watch the content.. Tablets, mobiles are replacing the desktops for day to day purposes like video watching, social site browsing etc... Though tablets and devices may not be attached to high bandwidth network all the time, but HDS provides you flexibility to host streams with different bit-rates and do an adaptive bit rate switching... In such case, progressive download may not at all give you that seamless experience and would require hell lot of time for video to first completely download and start..
You only need client side management in flash for the HDS. HDS requires OSMF player that you either download or build yourself as per your customisation.

I am looking into making a game where two people who can be in different places would log on to the app, log in and can play - i.e. they would be connected over the internet. I'm looking for a hint on what is the direction to take and which technologies.
For example is there a best practice for example if you make an app with DirectX and C++, and you use some kind of web service or something? or is it easier using C# and XNA? just looking for some pointers in the right direction. I have played around
with DirectX, far from proficient but have familiarity, I have no experience with XNA but hear it's less hardcore and easier going. I'm particularly interested in what the best way to connect over the internet.

What you are asking is very complicated and one of the more difficult things you can do in gaming. I'd strongly recommend you start smaller to learn and then move up to multi-player games as your skills grow.
From the multiplayer client perspective it doesn't really matter which technology you use. You can write a multiplayer game in any engine or technology that can talk to the network. Choose the client technology that you are most adept at and interested in
and learn it. You can go straight to DX, use a third party library such as Monogame (XNA isn't supported for Windows Store apps), or a complete game engine such as Unity. Once you can write a decent one-player game you'll have the foundation to start on to
build a two-player game.
At that point you'll need to define the problem much more specifically. As you state it, it is really wide open. How do you want the users to connect? Directly machine to machine? Matched through a web server but running client side? Connecting to a game
running on a remote server? Something else?
The network connection itself is probably fairly straightforward, but where to connect and how to manage that can be difficult. You'll have to decide what properties you want. Is this an action game where responsiveness is important or
a turn based game where timing is less relevant?
Are the players connecting locally or completely remotely? If the former then they can probably connect directly over the local network (NFC is great here). If the latter then they probably will need to connect to a matchmaker service to avoid firewalls.
This can get very complex, but there are existing solutions you can use rather than writing your own.
