i have lost my photos/videos when i imported from my ipad 2 to my new imac latest version OS X 10.8.4
and it's not reading the files. I have downloaded iMac library manager and can see them. when i go back into iphoto i'm getting the following message :

can someone shed some light please ?So it appears you have only one library on the hard drive. Apply the two fixes below in order as needed to that library:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory. -
I have an hp dvd ram gh60L DVD Drive. It shows up in Windows Explorer (Windows 7), but doesn't show up in itunes. Can someone suggest a fix, please?

Open your Displays system preferences. Is there an Arrangement tab and does it show two screens? If no Arrangement tab then your mac does not know it has two screens. Maybe smc and pram reset will shake it free and maybe not. Maybe there's something wrong with the connection. Thunderbolt plugs are similar to mini-displayport plugs so make sure the plug is pushed firmly in so that essentially all the metal part disappears inside the socket. Every time I get a Error parsing feed: Invalid XML. Now I've done the step where I can go to advance and subscribe to podcast and using the same link can get the files just fine. What am I doing wrong! I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure this out.I just waited for a couple of weeks and everything seemed to work out... Patience is a virtue.

Depends on
the analog part of A/D Converter and the converter as well ... there are cheap ones which (if you're audiophile)? may give weak results but normally, those are suitable even being that cheap ... you name ones you have in mind to get more exact answers<

Can someone test my podcast on their iPod please?
hello -- i just set up my first podcast but don't have an iPod to test it on. is it possible someone could test it out? i subscribed to my own feed in itunes and it works, but it's not searchable yet via itunes, and i don't have an iPod to test that my clip was encoded properly. anyone willing to drop it into their iPod and test it out??

thxI don't have an iPod either, but one quick way to tell if it is in the correct format is to subscribe to your own podcast, you can manually subscribe to it using the Advanced >Subscribe to podcast option in iTunes. Once you've downloaded the video, select the video, then choose Advanced> Convert selection for iPod.
If it is in the correct format it will display a message "One or more selections couldn't be converted since they are already in the correct format"
If not, it will begin the conversion for you.
In this case, your video is not in the correct format.
The iTunes spec indicates which formats, sizes, bitrates, etc.. the iPod can play:

Although iTunes can play a variety of .mp4, .m4v, and .mov video formats, video iPods require more specific formats. By following the steps in the Creating Video for iPod tutorial, QuickTime 7 Pro will automatically create an .m4v file containing H.264 video and AAC audio that is optimized for iPod. iPod can play the following video formats:

One quick and easy way to get it in the proper format is to use Quicktime Pro to export your original source video. There is a export option "Movie to iPod" this will convert it to a iPod compatible format.

Can't submit feedburner podcast to itunes
Hello,
I have created a feedburner podcast to submit to Apple.
The podcast can be subscribed and downloaded manually in iTunes. However, there is a time out issue when trying to submit the podcast to iTunes. I have trie to submit this podcast to Apple from mid December 2013 with no success.
The podcast URL is: http://feeds.feedburner.com/MHPN
Our developer claims there is no issue with the server and all functions normally when accessing the podcast in a browser.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?

Spaces are not allowed in the URL and iTunes cannot see any files which have them in the URL. You top episode is OK, but that episode and any others with spaces won't download.
The feed itself is OK (though a bit of a mess) and can be subscribed to manually in iTunes. I don't know whether it's the spaces which are causing the problem - there isn't usually any difficulty with Feedburner feeds themselves - but it's your first thing to fix. Once fixed, post here if you still have any problems. -

I can't submit my podcast - Need Access to iTunes Connect?
Hi, I need access to iTunes Connect to add in my podcast.
I was given this link: https://itunesconnect.apple.com/WebObjects/iTunesConnect.woa
But when I try to login I'm told my appleID does not have the permission.
My apple ID is [email protected]
The whole thing is that I tried to change from my regular feed: http://feeds.soundcloud.com/users/soundcloud:users:70842329/sounds.rss
To my feedburner feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/bhadpodcast
And it ended up removing my show entirely. Whenever I try to add my show back I get an error that either it appears it's been added, or it's already added but I'm getting no confirmation or any updates from iTunes that it's being done.
Please advise! I just want to continue using the soundcloud feed link and I can't get it updated. When I search for my podcast in iTunes I can't find it. When I look at the podcast page from what I already downloaded it shows new episodes but won't play them.
I have been back and forth with email support. No will will help me and it's been close to a month. I can't keep doing this, someone please help.

For the last week I have tried to submit my new podcast to the iTunes Store. Every time I do this, I get the following error message:

I've added this feed to every other podcast directory with no problems, I can subscribe to the feed in iTunes (doin' the Advanced > Subscribe to Podcast dance), so I know the feed works. What's wrong with iTunes?

How can i submit a podcast through soundcloud?
I started a internet radio station and it records it as a mp3. When i'm done editing i put it on soundcloud but i'm not quite sure how to upload it from soundcloud to itunes. Does anyone know how to do this?
SoundCloud appears to be a sharing site which plays the media files in an embedded player. This won't work in iTunes: you have to provide a direct link to the actual media file - the test is that if you enter the URL in Safari it plays in an otherwise blank window in Safari. The URL must include the extension, e.g. ,mp3.
This page on podcasting includes a sample basic feed so that you can see what one should look like.

Only if SoundCloud produces its own rss feed in a proper podcasting format with direct links to the media files would you be able to use it with iTunes: from the little I saw it didn't look as if it did this. -
Can someone help with podcasts?
I suscribed to an audible.com podcasts and it made it to iTunes fine but when I updated iPod I get this message
"Some of the Audible files in the iTunes music library were not copied to the iPod because this iPod may only contain content from two Audible accounts" I'm not sure what this means since I only have one Audible account and this is the first time I have downloaded from it. Can someone review my code please
I wrote a program for converting miles to kilometers and kilometers to miles. I've got it working good now, but there's something I can't figure out. The way I have it now, after you convert something, if you choose not to make another conversion, it exits the program. I'd like to make it go back to the main menu rather than exiting. In other words; if I convert miles to kilometers and then decide I want to do a kilometers to miles conversion, I'd like a way to return to the main menu without exiting the program. I would really appreciate any suggestions. Also, please feel free to give me pointers on better ways to make my code in general. Go easy though, I know I'm a newb. I didn't get any help making this, so please be kind. I apologize if it's hard to read; I wrote it in Jgrasp and it formated it weird when I opened it with wordpad.
