Can someone tell me how/where I can change the email address where Forum alerts are directed?
I have changed my email address at the office, and I can no longer see the alerts sent from the forums.
I have seen some forum posts indicating I should go to My Settings, but I cannot see where to start that flow.
Is it even possible to change the target email address for forum alerts?
Thanks
.......Cameron

In the forums you should see "Quick Access" at the top left of most pages. If not, click the small arrow at top left to expand the left rail. You can then click "Quick Access" and select "My Settings". You can see what I'm talking about in the first
few images in this Wiki article:

In "My Settings" there are fields for you to enter your email address for forum alerts. Does this help?

How can I change the email address associated with iCloud without losing information?
How can I can change the email address associated with my iCloud account without losing data on my iPad?
If you're running iOS 6, to change your iCloud ID go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in.
To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account. To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. -
How do I change the email address where my itunes receipts go on my ipod touch?
On my ipod touch how do I change the email address where my itunes receips go?
Hi ipodreceipts,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. You can change the email address your receipts go to on your iPod touch by following these instructions and changing the email instead of the password:
iTunes Store settings - iPod touch
http://help.apple.com/ipodtouch/7/#/iph17ff8a531
To set options for iTunes Store, go to Settings > iTunes & App Store. You can:
View or edit your account. Tap your Apple ID, then tap View Apple ID. To change your password, tap the Apple ID field.
This article has a method for changing the email address receipts go to using a computer:
My iTunes Store receipts are going to my old email address

This is really frustrating, I've been trying to get my songs back for hours
When you say "account," do you mean your iTunes library, because your iTunes library is what is on your computer? Your iTunes library does not have an email address. An account that is related to iTunes is your Apple ID (which is an email address) and you use it as your user name to sign in to the iTunes Store, to make purchases. Changing your Apple ID will not make songs disappear from your computer's iTunes library.
If you had an Apple ID and used it to make song purchases from the iTunes Store, and then started using a different Apple ID, you should be able to re-download the songs purchased with the old Apple ID. In iTunes, sign in to the iTunes Store using your OLD Apple ID (and password). That may not be your current email address, but Apple uses it as your user name, so it does not matter.
On the iTunes Store Home screen, click on Purchased under QUICK LINKS. This takes you do the Purchased screen, where you can re-download previous song purchases (for that Apple ID) at no cost.
NOTE: If those song purchases are from more than a few years ago, you may also need to authorize your computer to play (and sync) songs for your old Apple ID.
For songs that were not purchased from the iTunes Store, if they are also gone, you cannot get them back unless you have a backup (or they are still loaded on your old iPod).
If that's not what you mean by "changed the email address on my account," please post back with more details. -

I created an Apple ID for iTunes using a work email address and left that company before I had an opportunity to change the email and password for that same account. Now I can't seem to login to that account and I can't choose the option for forgot password because it will send email to the old workplace. How do I change the email address to a new one that I can access?
If you remeber the password to that Apple ID then follow these steps
1 - Make sure you have an email address that is NOT an Apple ID
2 - Go to AppleID.Apple.com
3 - Where it reads Manage Apple ID - Sign in
Once you are signed in want to make sure the email address you are wanting to use is NOT set up as a "Recovery/Rescue" email for this account.
[To check this - Main page where you see Primary ID - below do you see the email address you want to use listed towards the bottom? Yes - Delete / No - Good ./. If made any adjustments "Save" Next on the left select "Password & Security" - Answer your security questions you set up "if you have any" then scroll towards the bottom and check to see if you see the email address you want to use. Yes - Delete / No - Good] <-> Also you can change your password on this page as well. Any adjustments made "Save"
Once this is done go back to the main page where you should read "Primary ID" and change the email address that is showing to the new email address youo want. "Save" Done
I learned this not to long ago and worked for me. Hope this helps you! -
I don't remember my two security questions and I saw where you could send it to your email but the email it shows I could send it to is not the email I set up with it is there a way I can change the email on there to send to the email I have?
The Best Alternatives for Security Questions and Rescue Mail
1. Send Apple an email request at: Apple - Support - iTunes Store - Contact Us.
2. Call Apple Support in your country: Customer Service: Contact Apple support.
3. Rescue email address and how to reset Apple ID security questions.
An alternative to using the security questions is to use 2-step verification:

How can I change the email address linked to my iCloud account for iPhone 4s?

I changed my email address, how can I keep my icloud data without cancelling my former account...?
Hey there Fonz111,
It sounds like you have a new email address you would like to use to replace the email address you are currently using for your Apple ID, without losing any of the info you have in the account. You can update the email address with this article named:
Apple ID: Changing your Apple ID
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5621
To change your Apple ID, follow these steps:
Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com), click "Manage your Apple ID", and sign in.
If you have two-step verification turned on, you'll be asked to send a verification code to the trusted device associated with your Apple ID. If you are unable to receive messages at your trusted device, follow the guidelines for what to do if you can't sign in with two-step verification.
In the "Apple ID and Primary Email Address section," click Edit.
Enter the email address you want to use, then click Save Changes. Apple will send a verification email to that address.
Open the email from Apple, then click Verify Now in the email.
When the My Apple ID page opens, sign in with your renamed Apple ID.
If you have two-step verification turned on, you'll be asked to send a verification code to the trusted device associated with your Apple ID.
After you see a message indicating that verification is complete, remember to update all of the stores and services that you use with your Apple ID.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
All the very best,

How can I change the email address on my account?
My account is tied to an old email address which hasn't existed for about a decade, how do I change this?
Hello Chris,
This can be done through our Apple ID site.
Apple ID: Changing the email address you use for your Apple ID
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5621
If your primary email address for your Apple ID does not end in @icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com
Note: If your Apple ID and your primary email address are currently the same, changing the primary email address will also change your Apple ID. If your Apple ID and your primary email address are different, changing your primary email address will not change your Apple ID.
Follow these steps to change the primary email address for your Apple ID:
Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com), click "Manage your Apple ID," and sign in.
With the Name, ID, and Email Address drawer selected, click Edit next to Apple ID and Primary Email Address.
Enter your new email address.
Ensure that the email address you enter:
Is one that you regularly use since this will be the primary email for your account
Is a valid email address
Is not already associated with another Apple ID you have
Is not an address that ends in @mac.com. @me.com, or @icloud.com
You will be asked to verify the email address to confirm that you can access it and that it belongs to you. When you receive the verification email, click the Verify Now link and sign in using your Apple ID and password to complete the confirmation.
Cheers,

How can I change the email address associated with my iCloud account?
sschultz365 wrote:
When my iPhone updated, it reloaded an old email address as my iCloud address and I don't know the password associated with that email address. How do I delete the old account and set up a new one with my new email?
To change the iCloud ID ("email address") you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password. -

When I attempt to download an app my email address isn't there, the other ipad users is there. How do I change the email address so I can enter my password?
Go to Settings > iTunes and App Stores
At the top of the window you will see the Apple ID that the iPad is using. To change that tap on the ID and then tap on Sign Out. Then sign in with the correct ID.
Not really a good idea to be using two different Apple IDs on a single iPad. -

I cannot access to rescue email. How I can change the email?
Go to http://appleid.apple.com and sign in. Click 'Edit' next to the address which forms the ID and enter the new address.
Then go to iTunes and sign out if necessary, then sign in with the new ID address. (The account and actual ID remain the same, you've just changed the login.)
If you have an iCloud account using the same ID, turn off Find My iPhone/iPad/Mac if it is enabled, and sign out before proceeding. Failure to do this will cause problems.
