Can't access CS6 Design Standard download

I can find the weblink without any problem but once Adobe Download Manager enters the picture it all goes to the dogs! Design Standard is not an available option.
I already have a license for it and following the theft of the only machine I have it installed on I need to download the installer to re-install on the replacement machine
I'm using Mac OS 10.8.2 and navigating to the download in Safari. I'm then prompted to download, install and open the Download "Assistant" which requires a login. I've logged in with the same Adobe ID that shows me the license

These are the direct links for download but make sure you follow the important instructions on the page beofre you attempt to download.

Yes, you can use it on 2 machines. You have to download the file on the new system or use the disc if you have.

I purchased CS6 Design Standard (student licensing) and got my serial number. But I cannot figure out how to download it from the website.
I am trying to install on Macbook Air, which does not have a disc drive.
I tried to download from

If you can, try using a different browser.
You can also try to download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site or else the download will not work properly.

Two days ago I bought CS6 Design Standard. Now I wanted install it but in the beginning of the install process I had to type in the serial number. I did it. But after pressing the enter button I always gets follow message, even the serial number is right:
"Couldn't proof the serial number for Creative Suit 6 Design Standard. Contact support." (Translated from German)
1. There is NO support on the weekend. Why not?
2. What do I have to do, so that the serial number wil be accepted. It can't be, that I bought a programm for severall hundred EUR and then I can't install it.

Can I upgrade from CS3 Design Premium to CS6 Design Standard?

I'm looking to upgrade my CS3 (and may need to as I'm upgrading my Mac OS X and not sure about compatibilty)... of course I know I can upgrade like for like, i.e. go from CS3 Design Premium to CS6 Design and Web Premium but I don't really need Dreamweaver and Flash so just wondering if I can upgrade to CS6 Design Standard?
Also, as I'm still relatively new to this arena and have never upgraded before... how does it work? Do I need to keep my CS3 software (i.e. disks) as well as the new software/disks? i.e. if for whatever reason I may need to re-install down the line...or can I get rid of the CS3 once I get the CS6?

Yes, you can do that. But you only have a few more weeks. You may want to look into Creative Cloud instead. You'll need the CS3 serial number to upgrade to CS6 but the CS3 apps do not necessarily need to be installed.

Considering buying Adobe CS6 Design Standard, can I download on PC and Mac

I am hoping to buy CS6 design standard right from the Adobe store, but would like to be able to install it on my PC and on my Mac. When I go to buy it prompts me to select a PC or Mac platform. I know I can download the software on two computers but am wondering how to go about downloading it on one of each operating system.

You can't. The license is platform specific. if you need it on two different systems, you have to buy two specific licenses. Otehrwise simply sign up for Creative Cloud where this is a non-issue.

Download of CS6 Design Standard has stopped at 1.6 Gb - can I restart it?

Downloading CS6 Design Standard to Mac. Download stalled at 1.6 Gb and hasn't moved for 4 hours. Can I get it to resume? If I delete and start again will the same happen? Mac has no disc drive although I have the disc.

Just bought the perpetual license online - student-teacher version. Received email confirming my eligibility and followed all instructions to a 't', but still got this 413 error message, and cannot continue.
Would anyone be able to help me?

Make sure you have cookies enabled and clear your browser's cache before you try downloading. If it continues to present that error try using a different browser.
As far as getting to a chat link goes, it can be hit or miss... Start Here If after selecting relevant responses you are unable to find a solution, choose "Still need help? Contact us." and the chat contact option.

Adobe can not validate the serial number for CS6 Design Standard. What goes wrong?

That entries are blocking the product to reach Adobe servers.
Move your hosts file to desktop and open it from there.
Then remove entries like " 127.0.0.1 lm.licenses.adobe.com " ( There should not be any Adobe related entries )
Once you have removed, close hosts window.
The drag the file back to etc folder and replace it with original hosts file.. ( open hosts once again and confirm there are no adobe entries.

I bought years ago CS6 - Design Standard and an expensive MLP New Upgrade Plan in order to upgrade the software after. Can I upgrade to CC, or I simply lost my money?

I bought a license to use Creative Suite 6 - Design Standart almost two years ago. In the same ocasion, I bought a MLP New Upgrade Plan, wich were very expensive, but gave me the wright to upgrade my CS6-Design Standart for new versions within two years. I thoght I made good business, buying an Upgrade Plan that allowed me to have further versions of my software for two years without adicional purchase. What happens is that I can't find a way to upgrade my CS6-Design Standard Suite to a CC Suite. Did I simply threw my money away purchasing the MLP New Upgrade Plan, wich never alowwed me to do any upgrade, or is there a way, fairly, to use my Upgrade Plan that is almost expiring to have access to Creative Cloud?

You are on Windows 2000, you do not have a "Firefox" button, and should consider yourself to be fortunate in that you still have menus and don't have to do anything to get the menus back instead of the "Firefox" button. (The same applies to Windows XP users).
Use the "File" menu to get to Import. You are not on Windows 7 or Vista, and don't have to put up with the nonsense added for Aero.
If you want the "Firefox" button you can get it with View -> toolbars -> (uncheck) Menu Bar. The menu bar and the "Firefox" button were supposed to be mutually exclusive (which is impossible in some cases without being incompatible).

How do I install CS6:Design Standard onto my iMac? I already had it on my MacBook Pro and should get 2 downloads with the student version?

I bought the student version of CS6 Design standard 3 years ago and installed it on my MacBook Pro. I now just purchased an iMac and would like to download it onto this as well. I should be able to download it onto two computers from what I understand, but when I insert the disk for download, there is no install.app on the disk any longer. I only see set-up.exe (which is for windows). How can I get the programs downloaded onto my iMac?

If it won't download directly, right click and "Save as"
Go to: Mac HD/Library/Internet Plugins
Trash the Flash Player.plugin file from there
Go to: Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Trash the Flash Player folder (the whole folder)
Empty the trash
Reboot
Mount the DMG and run the installer.
BEFORE opening any Flash content in Safari, open Safari>Preferences, and check the Security tab to make sure "Allow all other plugins" is checked.
