Can't access Hue in develop module

I can't access the "Hue" tab in develop module. I can only access Hue by selecting "All."

Accessing photos in "Develop" module

Hi,
I have important some photos into the library catalogue, but they are not showing up in the filmstrip or develop module, even when I click to select one. I can work on it in the ibrary section, but mnot the develop section. What do I have to do to make it appear in 'develop'?

Have the original image files been moved or deleted since you imported them, or are they on an external drive? If LR can't find them, it displays a "?" by the top right of the picture.

Why can't I use the Develop module?

I bought the stand alone version of Lightroom so I would not have to subscribe monthly. Now it is not letting me use the "Develop" module. Please tell me I do not have to have a subscription after I bought the full program.

I suspect that you did an update recently. In doing so, you have installed from the creative cloud. It is the same program, but it is licensed differently. It will be necessary for you to uninstall that version and then installed from one of these links:

I own LR and Develop module has been disabled---asking for me to renew membership??

I purchased Lightroom in 2013 (not Creative Cloud subscription). I recently purchased a new computer and downloaded LR to that one. I have LR registered under my Adobe ID and its listed under "products" that I own, I'm signed into LR with my Adobe ID on my desktop. When I downloaded the program, I used my key I received when I purchased the program to get it up and running. Today I tried going into the Develop module and it says that it has been disabled and to renew my membership to get access to the Develop module again. I do not have the CC subscription...I own it. SOOO, I've been searching and trying to follow Adobe troubleshooting for a few hours and now I've decided to see if I can just get the answer here. Where can I input my key in the program on the desktop or get it to see that I OWN the program and do not need to purchase the membership? On my desktop CC icon, it says that my "trial version" has expired.

LR Develop module shows "Disabled.Please renew your membership".You can reinstall the creative cloud application from the below link and then sign in with your Adobe ID(email address registered with Adobe)

LR5 - Selected image does not display in the Develop Module

I recently upgraded to LR5 from LR4.1. I have seen on several occasions where the selected image in the Develop Module does not appear. I can move back to the LIbrary view and the image appears, but when I switch back to the Develop Module, the image disappears and only a black box appears (dark grey really). This seems to happen after I have deleted flagged files using the ALT-Backspace shortcut. This has happeded when I deleted while in the Library and Develop Module, but does not happen every time. I have disabled the "Show photo on Mouse Over" view option. Prior to that, the preview window shows the selected or moused over photo.
The only thing I can do to get the develop module to work again is to restart Lightroom. I've seen no other posts regarding this issue and it is very annoying when trying to go through 4000 photos! I can find no place to report bugs, so I am posting this here.

i found LR5 the most bug infested LR version ever.
i "use" it only as test setup.
real work i still do with LR 4.4.

nope.. in this forum you will only hear that this is not such a big issue and will be fixed soon.
honestly im waiting for some bugs to be fixed since v3.6..... and i gave up on reporting new bugs to adobe.

there is a text layer bug in photoshop i reported back in 2011 and that´s still in photoshop CC.....

Where is the folders panel in the develope module

I just updated Lightroom to version 3.4 and now I can not find the folders panel in the Develop module. It's in the Library module but not in the Develop module. There is not even a right click option for a folders panel under the Develop module.
What happened???

Turn off develop module tips

I can't turn off the develop module tip window in lightroom 4 with out closing down LM.
I have tryed (commond /) and just get another window to pop-up.

Can't access examples of Softmotion Development Module

Hello,
As I understand it, the SoftMotion Development Module was folded into the SoftMotion Module around 2009. However, when I try to access examples of Control Loop (with Splines) or other similar examples such as 3 Axis PID, it says that I have to have the SoftMotion Development Module. When I click on this it takes me to to the SoftMotion Module page. I have checked my license manager to ensure that I have the SoftMotion Module and it confirms that I have the Premium version.
Also, I appear not have to have access to the trajectory generator / contour VIs from the context menu but can drag and drop them from an old VI. Have these functions been deprecated?

Hi Rhys,
1) I don’t think that’s an issue with your license – I had the same problem. Some of the SoftMotion examples that were available previously just weren’t installed with my LV 2011. If you still have a 2009 or 2010 installation, you could try opening the examples from within that directory structure (e.g. “\LabVIEW 2010\examples\Motion\SoftMotion\RIO\Control Loop (with Spline).lvproj”).
2) Yes, unfortunately they have been deprecated (which took me by surprise, too!). To get them back on the palette, use the zip-file uploaded by PaulRB here.

Lightroom 3.0 Develop Issue: Can't Access Develop Module

Hello. Need to tap you guys' expertise!
Went into develop module on my Lightroom 3.0 run on Windows Vista. Did some editing with the color, closed the color I was working with, opened and used a new color, went to erase and the pic disappeared! Screen faded. I closed the program, re-entered my LR and this message showed up on a wide empty screen:

I exited the message box and went into my Library. Then, after finding pics, hit the develop module tab, would not come up. Same message appeared. I can access everything else in my LR but the develop module. I have tried to reboot the computer and re-access LR, not successful as message still appears. Tried closing and re-opening LR, but the same thing happens. Not sure what happened as this never happened to me before.
Can anyone offer any insight as to what may have happened and what I can do to fix this problem? I am pulling my hair out as I have pics to finish and cannot make any changes on any of them! Ugh! HELP!!!!! Grrrrrr...........

Just wanted to point out that re-installing Lightroom hardly ever solves a problem.
Updating to the latest version usually will do.
Should the preference file deletion not solve the issue, try to create a new catalog and just import the images you need to get ready urgently.
Better to start over with them than not getting anything done.
You can always import from this partial catalog afterwards, when you will have restored the rest.
This should address catalog corruption.
For same root cause you could also try your last backup(s) of catalog.
User presets could be the culprit, as well (move them hiding from LR).
Worst case: LR is an early detection means for damaged RAM...

How do I change the size of my screen, in Develop Module, so that I can access the Exposure Slide in the right-hand colummn?

The right-hand column, under the Develop Module, begins with the Histogram and directly under the Histogram, the Tone Curve is seen. Missing is the Exposure Slide. How do I change the size of the screen to show the Exposure Slide before the Tone Curve?

Right-click (Cmd-click Mac) on the tone curve panel header or any of the other panel headers and make sure there is a checkmark for Basic.

LR trial expired, purchased CC, but still can't access Develop module

Hi, I had a trial version of LR, which expired. I purchased CC, and when I launch the desktop app, beside LR, it says trial expired, and prompts me to Buy. But when I click Buy, it correctly says I've already bought it. LR will open, but the Develop module is disabled - it says I need to renew my membership to reactivate Develop module. I've been all over the FAQ's and this board and have tried various things, but nothing has helped. Any ideas?

In the printer driver (accessed through the Page Setup button) set the Advanced tab to borderless. Then in the right hand panel under Layout set all the margins to zero.

Only can use JCo to access default BAPIs but can't access developed BAPIs

Hi,
My problem is I can't use JCo to access the BAPI developed by myself, but can access the default BAPI like BAPI_COMPANY_GETLIST.
These BAPIs developed by myself can be tested in BAPI Explore correctly.
But It can't work in java program using JCo. (can't work means it can run without any bug and I can set values into ImportParameters, but I can't get ExportParameters and Table Parameters)
It sounds like the BAPI can't access remotly but I'm sure that I set the "remote enabled" in attribute tab.
I really don't know what's the problem, and spent many hours try to solve it but it still can't work.
Is there anything I should check? I really need some help.
Here is some part of my source code. The biggest problem is I can't retrieve the returned internal table, but if I change the function module from BAPI_ZAB02_TH2 to any other default function module (like BAPI_COMPANY_GETLIST) and I can retreive the returned internal table....

The obvious or not so obvious first. Depending on your knowledge. When you open a tiff, jpg, or camera' raw format they can be opened in Adobe Camera raw first which has identicle controls to lightroom's develop module.
Starting with I beleive CS5 maybe 4, some of the tools made their way into photoshop it self. Take a look at the camera lens filter, the Image>Adjustment menu or the adjustment layers which now support vibrance for example.
