Can't access itunes account?

I've been using itunes for years now so i know a thing or two but when i try to access my itunes account it keeps saying my network isnt working? i can open the internet and everything else with itunes is working fine

You might also try asking for assistance in the iTunes for Windows forum (providing more details about your setup and the problem), this being the iTunes for Mac forum. Problems connecting to the iTunes Store often are caused by a firewall or antispyware/antivirus utility, so check any of those you have running on your system.

If the password to your iTunes Store account was changed, you can try the iForgot site:
iforgot.apple.com
and use the "answer security questions" option. With luck, the hackers won't have thought to change those questions. You should then be able to change the password. If those questions were also changed, go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

New computer - can't access itunes account

I have a relatively new computer and an ipod I haven't updated in a long time. I have just tried to create a home share account to see if i can access my old stuff and update but it's not recognising my account and/or password

First of all you should really post this in Itunes forums cause you might get more hits on it.. Anyway.. You can only authorize up to 5 comps on one itunes account.. This does not include iOS devices. Those you can have 10.
So to fix this issue, open itunes, hit store on the left side, click log in (or your e-mail address if you are already logged in) in the top right hard corner of the page. One you log into your account you will see a a little area where it says you authorized 5 out of 5 comps. Below it should be a button to clear all those out. Itunes will de-authorize all computers on the account then you need to go back Store tab in the menu bar and select authorize this computer.
Remember it will deauthorize all your computers, so you need to re-authorize any other computers you have.

Hi, I doubt im the first this has happen to so I hope someone can help?
The laptop with my itunes set up on has gone due to a cracked screen. the other laptop in our house already has someone elses itunes set up on it.
is there anyway, i can use itunes on this laptop?? everytime ive tried it gives a warning that computer already is set up with another itunes account. i dont want to knock out their account and make them lose all their music but also i dont want to lose whats on my iphone.
and how stupid is it that you cant delete tracks off your iphone directly. totally unnecessary restriction.

An account is just a user name and password. You can log into your account from any computer that has itunes.
Logging into your account will not bring up your music. You get ONE download of your music. After that it is your responsibility to backup your music and move it wherever you want it.
Likewise, logging out of your account does nothing to the music that is stored on the computer. Your account is for purchasing music.
What is it that you are trying to accomplish?

For the past few months, I haven't been able to access my account or purchase music. itunes keeps looping back to the sign-in authorization screen. I'm rarely on and hoped that it was an itunes bug that they would fix. This problem seems to correspond to my last itunes upgrade, 9.0.2(25). Any ideas?

Has this been resolved? My mac seems to think I'm running windows. Everytime I try to redeem a gift card it tells me to check the date/time settings (mine is auto-update) and to make sure my computer is setup to accept cookies (it is). It gives me a link for more help/info, but that takes me to a guide for windows help for those using a PC. I can't access my account either. I can log-in, but it will not allow me to access my account. I've reset my password numerous times but it doesn't have any affect. Any thoughts???

You won't be able to purchase and rent from both accounts on the Apple TV, but assuming you use the same ID and password for homesharing (not iTunes) and each have your own libraries, the Apple TV can stream content from either library.

iTunes recognizes me, and I'm logged in. However, when I try to access my account, I continue to get an error message:

I am beyond frustrated with Apple and their lack of customer support. Since iTunes is a free app, I was told it's not supported by their customer service (the fact that I spend a ton from the store doesn't seem to matter). My fault for not going with Amazon!

Okay than this definitely was not Apple. Apple support techs never have access to your mouse. It sounds like this company installed some software on your Mac. It is hard to tell what their intentions are but just assume in these situations that all your data was compromised. Possibly all your online accounts have been compromised such as social networks, banks, etc.. The smartest thing to do would be to change all of your passwords and reinstall OS X on your Mac. It sounds extreme but that's what happens when a 3rd party company gains control of your computer.
