Can't access my emails
Hi there
I've had my BlackBerry for ages but today is the first time I've had this problem, I don't know if I've re-set something by accident.
Basically I can't access my emails - the star/asterisk sign shows up on the menu to show that new messages have come in (and I know they have because I can see them on my laptop) but when I click any of the email icons (the general 'Messages' one, or the two separate email accounts I have) they just take me to text messages rather than email messages.

Chris, Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.

Thanks Lawrence. I've spent over 3 hours on the phone/chatting to online support and none of it seemed to help as it all revolved around resetting emails etc but can't do any of it without my access to my old email. Now my phone won't take cloud because they advised to set up new apple ID and use that, but can't sign out of old one completely. Also doesn't help because my phone and laptop are set up on the old one. Thanks for the help.

I keep getting an error pop-up when I try to access my email. The pop-up says Cannot Get Mail The connection to the server failed. I get this pop-up on both my iPhone 5 and my iPad. I can still access my email, but the pop-up is real annoying. Can someone please help me with this? -Stu

It sounds like you're seeing an alert message when opening Mail on your iOS devices. Do you have multiple email accounts setup on the devices? Take a look at the article below, it provides suggestions that will resolve most issues that cause an alert like that to appear in when starting the Mail app.

I'm Sp from India, I'm using my iPhone 5 for regular Business use as well for personal use too. My Iphone Version is 8.1.3 (12B466) and Model MD300HN/A with storage capacity of 32 GB where 8.64 Gb is FREE. I'm always connected with Wi-Fi / Data Plan, I was able to use all my personal as well Business Email Accounts properly on my iPhone 5 but since few days, I'm not able to use it cause it Quits on launch of mail Application (as default App) along with Phone & Safari & Music. I tried to check my all email set up in Setting and also counter check on Laptop (windows 7) and all are OK and working properly but still not able to use it.
I tried all troubleshoots except deleting all my email ids.
Please guide, how can i access my emails on iPhone 5 now,

SpTry a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.
Delete and re-add the accounts. -

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Your question is not clear. If it is a Yahoo email account, then where does iCloud come into the picture? Or do you mean you are using the yahoo.com email address as your Apple ID? These are entirely different things. The Yahoo email account is not in any way related to the Apple ID that is using that email address as the Apple ID.

I can't see why Tokyo should be a problem - rather the reverse given the Japanese commitment to technology. Can you get at http://icloud.com ? (Remember that you can't access that on an iOS device). Or you should be able to access it in your Mail app or application - what sort of problems are you having?

Genuis had to reboot my ipad do to software Crashes unfortunetly deleting all my apps. Now I can't access my email,when I attempt to sign in it says account is already added to iPad. I cannot receive any mail,or even access my account. I have gone thru the troubleshooter, with no resolution .

I am guessing two things:
1. You are trying to access email in Safari (and not through the Mail app).
2. You are running iOS 7.
Go to the open pages screen in Safari (or the bookmarks screen). Tap the "Private" button to turn it off. -

Are you using Apple mail, Yahoo mail, gmail, etc?
Saw this on another post:
Quit the mail app completely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Then repeat the steps above if you still cannot get your mail.
