Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Sign out and back in to your iTunes Store account.
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Reset the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings)
Restore the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Restore)

No, if you have that picture it means the update went wrong and you need to restore via iTunes.

I have a new iPad mini and can successfully use airplay with my 2nd generation Apple tv . BBC Iplayer is fine --as is 4OD, but ITV player only works in audio format--and Demand 5 does not work at all. I am pretty sure both the latter are compatible--so what can i do to fix this and what am i currently doing wrong?
Someone recently noted a problem staying logged on the Huffington Post since it became connected with AOL. The workaround for that is to change your connection setting here:

Click the "Settings" button and choose either "No Proxy" or "Use System Settings" option, and OK the change.
Not sure whether Washington Post could be affected by that same setting.
In reviewing your extensions, I'm puzzled that you have both DoNotTrackMe and SavvyConnect. The first one seems to aggressively block certain communications with websites (potentially affecting functionality) while the second one seems to report on your browsing habits (they better pay well is all I can say). Have you tried disabling both of those to see whether that has any effect?

Hi,
You will no longer be able to sync manually with match. I would suggest that you wait until match has competed its process on your computer and that you are told how many tracks are in the cloud.
If you activate match on your iOS device too soon, you may find that all your tracks are not there. Ps it is not just artwork that is being uploaded, it's music as well.

I purchasedhe additional Icloud storage for my ipod touch. That removes all my music from the ipod and putsd it in Icloud. I find that when I am away from my wifi connection, like when walking or working out, I can't access my music. Is there a solution for this?
Download the music to your ipod when you are in a wi-fi area.
It will be stored on your ipod. -

I updated my apple Id, now I can't access my music
My old apple ID was an email I don't use anymore, so I decided to update it. When I logged in to appleid.apple.com, it prompted me to change my password because my old one did not fit the new requirements. After I changed my password I changed my apple ID. I verified that it had changed with my new email and everything was all set. I set everything up on my phone with the new ID (after some trial and error), but now when I sync my iphone to itunes it asks me to authorize purchases I made with the old ID. No matter what password I put in, it won't accept it, not the original password (before it prompted me to change it) or any subsequent. It then redirects me to iforget where it offers to send me my password. I check the old email, but the password never comes (it doesn't end up in spam either). Now, I can't access any music I purchased under the old apple ID on my phone and I have a feeling that when it comes time to update paid-for apps that I purchased under the old ID that will be impossible as well. If anyone can help me I would very much appreciate it. I know other people are struggling with this issue too.
Also, I didn't know which community to post this to, so this question might end up in a couple.You might want to try contacting Apple for assistance by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click See All Products and Services>iTunes>iTunes Store>Passwords & Security Questions>Lost or Forgotten Apple ID password. They should be able to explain what's going on and help you reset the password for the old ID if necessary. The call should be free.

The ! sign before the song means that the actual song is no longer on your computer and/or iTunes library.

There isn't currently any iCloud music streaming, if that what you mean.
iTunes Match will be coming, probably late October, early November. That will provide streaming.
If your just talking about music you bought on, say, your iPhone and want it to appear on your Mac, go into iTunes preferences (on your Mac), click the "Store" icon and make sure that Automatic Downloads are turned on. That will keep your Mac iTunes library up to date when you buy on your iDevice.
If you've got older stuff that you need to download, you can go into your Purchased section in iTunes and click on "Download Previous Purchases" which should show you everything you've bought. You can re-download from there. -
Can't access shared music after upgrading to 8.0.2.20

How can I access my music library from a laptop on the road, as if my PC is not active? I tunes is installed on both PC and Home Sharing is enabled on both devices.
The key constraint for Home Sharing in this context is that both PCs need to be on the same wifi network. So once you get out of range of the wifi network covering your home PC, the laptop is not going to be able to Home Share.
Have you considered importing your iTunes music to the laptop? Then you could listen to a local copy of the music on the laptop while you're on the road. (You can do the import via home sharing when both computers are on the same wifi network.) -

ok, i have a 20GB ipod with the click wheel. i heard a lot of good things about the newest version of ITunes so I decided to download it. After installing it, half of my playlists were gone... AGGHHHH!!!!
I would be able to deal with that, but now I can not access my music. What's the deal here? I can see the songs, but iTunes is not allowing me to click on any of the songs. But when I unplug the iPod, I can click on any songs in my library.
Can anyone help me out here? Thanks so much!!!Uncheck the "automatically sync" button (or it might be checking the manually manage the ipod). If you have it set to automatically sync the music, it will automatically transfer your music and playlists from your comptuer to the iPod, which means any changes on the computer get put on the iPod. If you uncheck that button, you'll have to manually manage the music, but you'll be able to access the music on the iPod. Took me a while to figure this one out.
