Can't Access Numbers

I'm having an issue with Numbers on my MacBook Pro.
I was using Numbers to copy a small amount of data from one spreadsheet and went to place it into a new one and the data did not copy over. The program tried pasting it for ages and then the application froze for about half an hour before I tried to force quit it. I did force quit it and restarted my computer but the computer picked up that the application was still in use. I shut down three more times and now the application has closed.
Now the issue is, when I go to open Numbers, it's still trying to pick up where it left off and open the document I was working off. I just keep getting the below errors that seem to go around in a loop. I can't use Numbers at all now.

Your screen shots don't show, so I am guessing.
Please reply with a screen shot of a small part of your screen (large shots are often difficult to read).
To take a screen shot,
1. hold down the shift and command keys, then type 4. The cursor will change to crosshairs. Release the shift and command keys.
2. Drag over that part of your screen then release the mouse/trackpad. A screen shot will appear on your desktop.
3. In a reply to a message, click on the camera icon in the Toolbar above your reply and
4. Choose File > Choose > Insert Image.
If this does not work, Close the Insert Box (red cross on the top right) and go back to Step 3. Camera icon sometimes needs a wake-up call, but works the second time.
Remove any personal details before taking the screen shot.

I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on what you mean when you say that you can't access numbers on your iPhone. Are you not seeing the "123" option in the bottom left hand corner of the on-screen keyboard to change to the number keyboard input, as shown on the following page? Is this issue occuring in all text entry fields (say, for example, Notes), or just this password screen?

As long as you have a legitimate serial number, you can just download a trial version of the version you need from the public Adobe site, install it and input your valid serial number upon installing it.
You will need to apply all available updates, as all downloads are of the original release.
The Extended and the Standard version of Photoshop are one and the same binary. It's your serial number that makes it Extended or Standard.

Can't access contacts, numbers pad, voicemail, favorites. my screen is frozen on recent calls

All of a sudden I can't access my contacts, numbers pad, voicemail or favoites. My screen is frozen on recent calls. I can call from those listed but thats it. Is this related to the OS upgrade?

Close out of the phone app, double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.
Then do a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
Then check again.

Numbers app is stuck updating, can't access important files. Any suggestions?

I transferred all of my NECESSARY & IMPORTANT client files to Numbers from Excel, I've been using it for about 1-1/2 years, after the last update of iOS 7 it started acting up. Then 3-1/2 weeks ago I opened it and while accessing a file it got stuck, some files are white and I can open them. Other files are gray and I can't open them. The page goes white when opening it up instead of just opening, there us a delay the nut opens.

You need to be on OS X Lion 10.7 to use icloud, and if your Word and Excel are older, like Microsoft Office 2004 or earlier, they won't work on Lion, because OS X Lion no longer supports PowerPC code. Snow Leopard, for example, included the Rosetta emulator to run PowerPC code on Intel systems. Rosetta isn't available with Lion.
You can buy the Apple programs Pages and Numbers, to replace Word and Excel, from the App store for $19.95 each. They will read Word and Excel formats. Or you can buy a more recent version of Microsoft Office, with Office 2011 being the current version. You can also install NeoOffice or OpenOffice which are common-source office software suites, available in free and pay versions (typically newest is pay, one level back is free).

Remember that you can always try finishing the downloads in iTunes on your computer and then sync the iPad to try to move the apps to the iPad.
You can try any of these suggestions as well.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.

Without "pretending" to be yourself on the other phone (change settings) there's nothing else you can do.
iOS devices are meant to be single user and can't view iCloud.com the same way a Mac or PC can do.
You need to find a desktop or laptop machine (Mac or PC) to log in at iCloud.

If you upgraded from previous OS, Look in Applications folder for an iWork folder and launch old Numbers from there.
If you clean installed, look for your old install disks for iWork and reinstall.
They will run on Mavericks but they need to be there.

You are on Windows 2000, you do not have a "Firefox" button, and should consider yourself to be fortunate in that you still have menus and don't have to do anything to get the menus back instead of the "Firefox" button. (The same applies to Windows XP users).
Use the "File" menu to get to Import. You are not on Windows 7 or Vista, and don't have to put up with the nonsense added for Aero.
If you want the "Firefox" button you can get it with View -> toolbars -> (uncheck) Menu Bar. The menu bar and the "Firefox" button were supposed to be mutually exclusive (which is impossible in some cases without being incompatible).
Once you are using the "Firefox" button ...
Use the "Alt" key to view the menu bar (temporarily) containing File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, and Help. On Windows 7 and Vista, the menu bar was hidden by default in Firefox 4 and above. These menu items are more or less available under the "Firefox" button which has the most used of the built-in Firefox menu items available in a different format.
To get back to having menus again. "Firefox" button -> Options (second column) -> (check) Menu Bar

Can't Access Router Settings via 192.168.2.1

I have recently changed modem/routers as my connection speed was increased recently and the old modem wasn't up to the task... The previous modem/router was preconfigured and I did nothing to it, however the new one requires settings be fixed by accessing it via a browser at 192.168.2.1
When the technician came to check my line and set up the new modem, we encountered a strange situation. Despite being connected by Ethernet cable, my machine could not access the IP address reserved for the router.
The reply is: "Safari can’t connect to the server.
Safari can’t open the page “http://192.168.2.1/” because Safari can’t connect to the server “192.168.2.1”."
We tried Firefox and the same happened.
I have deactivated my firewall, rebooted, changed cables, restarted the router, got Safari to pretend to be Explorer, got the neighbor's dog to bark at it, everything except make a blood pact with the devil, and the two browsers on my machine think that 192.168.2.1 is an external address- which it isn't, and of course fails to connect.
The technician used his laptop to configure the thing, so I can access the internet (obviously) but I must find out why I can't access the router/modem's settings, if only to find some logical reason for this illogical behavior.
I've tried looking this issue up, and I get lots of bad wiring, wireless connection, windows proprietary shenanigans, but none that explain my situation.
I'd appreciate it if someone could help me make sense of this.

Your advice did the job quite nicely and it seems this is the "natural way of things," but I was totally unaware of it since my previous modems were preconfigured and I never had to muck about with subnets and such things.
What irks me is that this is basic, bare bones information that the Tech support people should have given me right off the bat. Why do they assume I have all the right numbers input into the Ethernet or PPPoE settings? They seemed totally perplexed that I couldn't connect, and frankly so was I- since my old Mac, as decrepit as it is, is still able to kick it with the modern way of things better than most computers I work with.
If they had asked me if I had set the right IP's in the right slots, it could have been fixed in 2 minutes.

Internet working but can't access AirPort for configuration changes

I have an AirPort Express and it connects to the internet properly through my cable modem -- solid green light and all -- and allows my PC to surf wirelessly.
Sounds pretty good, but...
For some reason I can't access the AirPort Express to change any of the settings. For example, I would like to change the SSID and the IP numbering scheme to give out 192 IPs, but when I open the Admin Utility I can't see the AirPort Express. When I try to access it manually in the utility by hitting "Other..." and entering the IP that my PC is assigned on the network (10.0.1.2), it puts up a window that says "Reading configuration from base station", then an error message with code -6753.
I know it is working, otherwise I wouldn't be writing this right now, but how to I access it???

Your system information states OS 10.0.x. If you are using that version of OS X you do not have an Intel based iMac. I would suggest that you upgrade to OS 10.2 at least.
If you do have an Intel based iMac, you may want to try renewing the DHCP lease. Open System Preferences->Ethernet->Advanced... and click on the "Renew DHCP Lease".

Can I access Terminal from Single User Mode?

Basically, I cannot boot because it goes to a white screen after the apple logo.
I found these terminal commands that will shut off the discrete graphics card so that only the integrated graphics will run, which would be an ok solution because I mainly use the computer for Recording/Mixing etc with Logic Pro, so I don't really need the more powerful graphics.

You can move the kext out with these commands:
> mkdir DisabledExtensions
> cd /System/Library/Extensions
> sudo mv ATIRadeonX****.kext ~/DisabledExtensions (replace asterisks with your model's numbers)
> sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions
If so there is nothing to take, the commands are physically removing system files. Once those files are moved there is no way for them to go back unless you put them back or you do an install of the OS.
But I am surprised that Safe mode does not work for you. In Safe mode the system only uses the onboard graphics. Are you certain you ere booted into Safe mode? When in Safe mode the words Safe Boot will appear in red letters at the top of the login screen. Did you see that? I ask because it is easy to mistime the Shift key press during boot and not actually get into Safe mode.
Perhaps you problem something different?

I work on numbers on my mac at work and was wondering if I'm able to access that file through iCloud on my iPad at home? I don't want to pay $10 for the Numbers app on my iPad if I can't access those files.
