Can't access old email account to reset security questions

I have forgotten my security questions (or haven't set any up - I can't remember) and am told the reset information will be sent to an old email address I no longer have access to. I have reset all contact email addresses that I can see. The one it tells me it will send the reset link to was the original one I used to set up my apple id. Anyone know if there is a way around this ?

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

I have had the same problem and I was able to delete all but one. The one that won't delete is the one that is currently playing. It cannot be swipe deleted. I had another song that I was having a similar problem so I connected to iTunes, synced that song to the phone and then it would let me delete it. So, I synced the entire album that contains the song that I can't delete. Doing so allows me to swipe delete all of the songs until it says "No Content".
However, if I select the "Now Playing" in the upper right-hand of the screen, the song is still playing and when I go back to the Songs list it is back like David F@#king Copperfield with no option to delete it.
I don't want any music on my phone (that's why I have an iPod) because every time I get in my car and the phone connects to the radio it starts playing over Bluetooth audio automatically.

I am accessing itunes to purchase for the first time via my PC. After logging in it asks me to answer two security questions that have never previously been set up with no way of changing them or getting past that point in the log in process. Any suggestions??

you will need itunes' help. go to this site... expresslane.apple.com and get in touch with itunes... they will have to reset your security questions.

I've spent over 3 hours on the phone/chatting to online support and none of it seemed to help as it all revolved around resetting emails etc but can't do any of it without my access to my old email. Now my phone won't take cloud because they advised to set up new apple ID and use that, but can't sign out of old one completely. Also doesn't help because my phone and laptop are set up on the old one. Thanks for the help.

Can't access yahoo email account on my mac

for the past month I haven't been able to access my yahoo email account via my ibook. I can access it from any computer accept for my mac. I've written yahoo and they sent me a six page document that's completely useless. I can log into my email account but I can't view the emails or compose a message.

Are you trying to set up your Yahoo Mail account through the Mail application or login via the web? If you're trying to login via the web, try downloading and installing another browser and see if that lets you login.

How can i access an email account on TB from a separate computer without deleting/modifying how the other account is setup

I want to be able to access another email account that is set up as a POP account on TB, but I do not want to modify how the other email account is set up. My co-worker and I often need to access each others emails. Is it simply a matter of adding the email account on my computer as a POP, without moving his emails? Or would this require changing his account to IMAP? When i set up his TB account, I made it a POP so there are no messages on the server at the moment. What I don't want is for his emails to move from his computer to mine.
(He's new to TB and that would drive him crazy - I already did that when I switched him from Outlook)

Yes. And make sure to check the option to leave messages on the server prior to accessing the account.
Having said that, I think it is a very bad idea to share an account that way.
Note that this will give you permanent access to your co-worker's account.
In addition you're not only storing your own messages on your computer, but also all your co-worker's messages.
The same is true for him if he does the same.

I had an IPhone 4 for company use, my email was the company one. I've now left that company and gave back the Iphone 4. Then I bought a Iphone 4S and restored it back with the Iphone 4 data. now will not allow access to that account it says wrong password (I know it's the correct password)

I no longer have access to an old email that authorizes a lot of my music on my Ipod nano. How do I reauthorize the music when I can't access old email?

I can't authorize some music from my Ipod nano...it was purchased using an old email that I no longer have access to. When I type in my information to recover my password, it says my information is incorrect. Can I do something to move the music from my old Apple ID to my new one?

As you have not stated what type of mail account you are using - I've given info on both:

Usually, it downloads and deletes off the server, so if you want to create POP mail account for the new user, you would need to mke sure the settings are to 'leave messages on server' on both your computer and the new user.

The main issue here is that the Inbox should not be used as a general store, so you create folders to store emails. Unfortunately, this would mean constant monitoring to make sure both computers actually were using the same folders, as the user can manually create folders, you could end up with emails stored differently on each computer.

Can't Access old email after new mail comes in

old email in inbox can not be read after mail.app receives new email
all the messages come back with an error " The message from (sender) concerning (subject) has not been downloaded from he server. You need to take account online in order to download it."
the account is a POP account, so the emails are already on the computer
the account is not "offline" no lightning bolt next to the account
the account will work again if mail is quitted and reopened, up to the point new mail comes in
only inbox seem to be affected, as the sent folder works
have rebuilt mailbox, repaired permisions,
any help is appreciated

How can I access 2 different email accounts. I thought when I selected mail it would give me list of email accounts. Am I doing something wrong? Please help...

Have you set up both accounts in the Mail settings? If so, then you should be getting mail from both accounts.
I'm not sure what you're expecting to see by a "list". As of iOS 4.x on the iPad, all mail appears in a single Inbox, so you won't see two different accounts as such, if that's what you were expecting.
If that doesn't answer your question, please post back with more details as to the problem you're experiencing.

That looked helpful so I followed the Restore directions you sent me to. Now the trouble is that I've wiped all my data (having backed up first) and when I come to restore from my backup it again asks me for a password - which I haven't set.
I have definitely not lost any password - I keep all of them in an mSecure file vault. I have a record of a passcode for the phone itself but that does not work.
Is there any way i get get inside my iPhone Backup and find the mysterious password? None of the ones i use work!

AAll my email came in through yahoo, but my provider is also sbc global.net. When I couldn't get any email through yahoo I added another account and used ATT (sbc global.net) as my provider which is now getting me my incoming mail, butt i can't see any of my saved/sent mail for the account.
