Can't access scheduler in US Airways site

I fill out all of the info to book a flight and then click on search and nothing happens. Websites for other airlines work fine. I called US Airways and they said there is some setting in Firefox that is preventing my access to the scheduling search. I tried the access from Internet explorer and all worked fine. But I want to use Firefox. Help.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

  • I deleted my cookies and now i can't access gmail facebook and other sites

i deleted my cookies and now i can't access gmail facebook and other sites

Thanks, but I tried that and was directed to set up a new password which I did. But, it still wouldn't let me go to my existing Gmail. I was asked to set up Gmail account. I also tried accessing my Gmail from Yahoo. Failed. Someone suggested setting up another Gmail address so that when you logged on it would ask you which Gmail to open. This didn't work and only made the problem worse. Google Help is no help. I guess the only way to access Gmail is with my iPad, but it just isn't right!

  • Can't access eBay (and other specific sites)

I cannot access certain web-sites from my computer. I am connected to the 'net via UK broadband.
If I try to access www.eBay.co.uk or www.bankcardservices.co.uk (one of my credit-card's site) I get an error: "Safari can’t open the page... because it couldn’t establish a secure connection to the server"
I am using an Apple iMac G5 running OSX 10.4.2. I normally use Safari to browse but i get the same errors with Explorer...
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

Sorry, the error message above was from the credit card site.
Ebay gets this error: "Safari can’t open the page “http://www.ebay.co.uk/&#148; because the network connection was reset, which sometimes occurs when the server is busy. You might be able to open the page later."

  • Suddenly, my 1st gen can't access iTunes store.  It sits on "Accessing iTunes Store", with a spinning wheel for days.  I can access the store from my iMac, but not the Apple TV.  Everything is up to date.  What's the deal?

I can't figure out why my 1st gen appletv cannot access the itunes store.  All newer movies are coming up to view and I can watch previews, but when I go to rent, it stays on the spinning wheel with the Accessing iTunes Store forever.  I've left it going for at least 4 or 5 days.  I can rent from my iMac, but all I have is the headphone, analog, 2-channel audio feed and not the true digital surround.  It sounded much better from the appletv.  HELP!

Read a bunch of posts from 2008 and 2010.  The only step I found that I hadn't tried was the ol' plug pull.  After that, I got the first movie I tried renting.  ???  At least it works now.

  • Can't access FTP server OR the SITE!

I installed dreamweaver and succesfully mapped it to my FTP server. I was in the middle of a sync between my remote and local folders when the connection was dropped! It would not reconnect, I found out a few minutes later that I could not even access the web page itself, or the hosting server, of the ftp directory. NOTHING! However, my roommate can access all of the fine from his PC. I am a new MAC user and was wondering if there was some bandwidth limit I have exceeded or something. I turned the firewall off and everything! AHHH. I'm losing my mind here. Someone pleasse tell how to fix this.

Problem solved. The issue was the FTP Client I was using *****. It opened over 50 simultaneous connections with the server and the server firewall blocked my IP.

  • Wireless Data Account Linked to FIOS Account -Can't Access Wireless Data on Web Site

First: I am absolutely furious at your voice jail system. It keeps sending me down completely inappropriate rabbit holes. If I'm lucky, I eventually stagger back to where I started.
Your tech support reps should be extremely concerned about this, as it practically guarantees that their customers will be furious by the time they finally get a human being.
Google "Picadores". That's what your voice jail system is.
Next, I have had a wireless data account connected to my FIOS account for quite some time. I need to make some changes to it (read: Give Verizon more money).
However, your system absolutely refuses to let me access the Wireless account. Instead, it keeps dumping me back to the FIOS panel.
    It's a real mess.
    Please consider fixing it.
I like Verizon for this (even though you are expensive). However, T-Mobile is looking better every day...

I had previously complained about the Web site delinking my Wireless account from my FIOS account, effectively "cloaking" my Wireless account.
I wanted to add a note about how I think that it may have been connected to the passwords (but not the user ID) being different, but then I ran into an "authentication error" that would not let me post a reply to my own post.
This was a stubborn error. As far as I know, it will still happen if I try to reply to my own post.
As a Web developer, I fully appreciate the difficulty and scope of the enterprise portal you guys are running, but I also appreciate the requirement for good user experience.
Also, the plethora of obvious bugs makes me nervous, as we all know that site bugs are usually vectors for hacks. I wonder how many hackers you have roaming around in your admin area?

  • Suddenly can't access my favourite sites ... others are fine ...

Five times in the last 2 weeks, I have been unable to access favourite sites .... Flickr, Blogger, and four or five others, for 24 hours / 36 hours at a time ..
5 computers on our home network .... none can access these sites .. no problem with other regular sites ... such as Google, Yahoo, but strangely, with Apple and Cahoot Bank (UK) , I can get the home page, but then progress no further ..
ALL errors are 'server stopped responding' ... all the sites are 'up' as my next door neighbour can access them all, every time ...
Is there a plist file to trash .. or two? Or is it a cache problem somewhere along the line .. ?
VirginMedia (ISP, UK) deny it is them .. it affects all computers on our network ...
I'm not on an ISP blacklist .. AND everything works fine with Ethernet into the back of the iMac .....
I then plug the Airport Extreme back in and rebooted and re-set everything and the same sites (which were fine 5 mins before) Flickr, Blogger, ..... nothing .. but Google / Yahoo are fine ...
    Is this a DNS thing ... Airport ... DHCP ..... plists ?
Why intermitent ... and why particular favourite sites??
Any insights would be gratefully received as it's driving me nuts - and the kids want to use their computers too ..!

OK .. hate replying to my own posts .. but, all day today I have been running my main machine straight with ethernet connection .. can access all the sites that are problematic when wireless ....
Had to re-use Airport Extreme so that the kids could access their favourite sites on computers around the house .....
I was already on two Apple discussion pages.. and after the new wireless connection started working, I could still surf about the Apple discussion website no problem .. then if I tried to log-out .. it said the server was 'no longer responding' ........... and off course I still can't access Flickr, or the other sites I mentioned ..... from ANY machine, but no problem with Google, Yahoo etc.
Anyone ANY ideas please ....... ?

  • Can't access some websites using time capsule

Everything has been working just fine with my time capsule and my imac and just today I couldn't access some websites for some reason. I tried many other sites including this one and can get to them no problem. I have been through all of the airport settings and trouble shooting and can't find any problems, also the other 2 computers and my blackberry can't access some of the same sites either, I am stumped. Does anyone out there have any idea whats going on? Thanks for your help!

    Welcome to the discussions!
Suggest that you contact your ISP. It sounds like their DNS server is overloaded at the moment, but also unlikely that they will ever admit it.
It wouldn't hurt to power cycle your complete network as well. Just power everything down, order is not important.
Start the modem first and let it run a few minutes by itself.
Then start the next device connected to the modem, probably your Time Capsule, and let it run a few minutes.
Then start your computers and devices one by one the same way.

  • Can not access Server admin site

I can not access http://MYSERVER1:50000 site. I get error "The page cannot be displayed. The page you are looking for is currently unavailable.".
But I was able to access even yesterday. Could you tell me any possible problems and how to fix the error?
    Thanks!

    Hi Mike
That means your J2EE engine is not running...
Restart the engine, also check that the DB is up and running.

  • I can't access most .mil sites pretty sure I just need it to let me add the security exception but it doesn't give me the option anymore.

Ever since I got the last two updates for Firefox I can't access most .mil sites like ako or even the us army library Europe site. These sites use to come up as untrusted sites that I just accepted and continued life. However now it goes straight to server not found page. I know the site links and bookmarks are good because they are what I used to use. I've read some of the other help situations that are similar and I can see some of the old certificates in the advanced options up nothing I've done in there had changed anything.

To try to distinguish between a change in Firefox and a problem in your settings, could you do a three-minute experiment?
    '''Create a new Firefox profile'''
A new profile will have your system-installed plugins (e.g., Flash) and extensions (e.g., security suite toolbars), but no themes, other extensions, or other customizations. It also should have completely fresh settings databases and a fresh cache folder.
Exit Firefox and start up in the Profile Manager using Start > search box (or Run):
    firefox.exe -P
''Be careful not to delete anything in this dialog.''
Any time you want to switch profiles, exit Firefox and return to this dialog.
Click the Create Profile button, assign a name like Sept9, and skip the option to change the folder location. Then start Firefox in the new profile you created.
Do the sites work any differently?
When returning to the Profile Manager, you might be tempted to use the Delete Profile button. But... it's a bit too easy to accidentally delete your "real" profile, so I recommend resisting the temptation. If you do want to clean up later, I suggest making a backup of all your profiles first in case something were to go wrong.

  • Can't Access Secure (HTTPS) Sites On One Account, FF or Safari???

    Hello Mac Fans
First let me say I'm new to Mac. On one account I can't access secures sites like I can in the admin account. This may be a function of rights but am not sure? All updates have been done.
I can't login to this forum, my MobileMe account or my bank for example. I had to change to my other account or gasp, use a PC to post this message.
I installed FireFox trying to isolate the problem to Safari but that didn't pan out, I can't get to HTTPS pages in FF either.
I turned off Little Snitch thinking I might have denied something by mistake but that didn't help. I checked the rules and found nothing that wasn't allowed.
Nothing was changed in the router. I just turned on Mac and it worked. The iMac is connected to the router via ethernet cable.
I've used the search function and tried a few things that have been recommended for others but they didn't help me. I went to the keychain and did a repair, although it didn't find any problem. I over rode a couple keys to always allow them (Apple site stuff) and I ran the disk utility to no avail.
For reference I will post the information for both Safari and FF.
    Safari:
Safari can’t open the page “https://support.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/ACAuthWeb.woa/wa/login?
    appIdKey=2ddbca23a85d20e5bf7478812379ae23&path=/login.jspa%3FsuccessURL%3D/index .jspa” because Safari can’t

Safari can’t open the page “https://www.mln'sbank.com/” because Safari can’t establish a secure connection to the server

rl=” because Safari can’t establish a secure connection to the server “auth.apple.com”.
    FireFox:
    The connection was interrupted
The connection to support.apple.com was interrupted while the page was loading.
    * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
    moments.
    * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
    connection.
    * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
I've done a lot of snooping around on this forum and have ran out of ideas so now I must ask for help.
    Thanks

I think I may have found the problem. It's embarrassing to find it minutes after posting the message yet I tried to solve it off and on for three days! My brother who is a 20 year Mac user has been trying to help me too. I guess it's true what they say... sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. LOL
I turned off the parental controls. What I don't understand is that the no website restrictions box was checked. To me this means I should be able to go to any site I wanted. Can anyone explain why I couldn't got to a HTTPS page on a parental controlled account even though there were no restrictions placed on it?
It's late and I need sleep. I'll leave this open for now until I have more time to test it.
