HI I "attended" the On Demand Seminar given by Lynn Grillo -
entitled Dreaweaver for traditional graphic designers 10_23
and there was a PDF to dl - called
Getting_Your_Design_to_the_Browser.pdf and with that, you are
supposed to be able remove the file attachment "SourceFiles.zip"
Well, no matter what i try to do in preferences, Acrobat keeps
telling me i don't have the "permissions" or whatever set in the
Trust Manager - it was driving me crazy - understand please, i am
not asking for help on making Acrobat attached files open, i don't
need the headache of troubleshooting that any further, but rather,
I would be very very appreciative to anyone who can tell me where
to find those source files that i cannot open or save. She was
coughing alot and it got rushed and i want to see how something was
constructed. Much much thanks for anyone who can help me.

Meaning PP is asking for me to locat missing files, and I located them on the new drive, but I either get an error or PP locks up.

You will have to generate this file. The steps to generate this file has been provided in the Install file present under NewsService/doc/Install.html (once newsservice.jar is extracted) - Running the NewsService client application section - Step 1.
Follow the instructions, and you will be able to download the zip/jar file which contains newsservice.NewsServiceProxy within it.

Can not set source file for Fireworks png in Dreamweaver

I recently purchased Adobe Design Premium CS5 to replace my CS3, but I have a big
problem. When I export a png in Fireworks to Dreamweaver it does not set the source
file correctly. It places the Fireworks object on the page, but when I select the table
that holds the Fireworks object, the path for the source on the Properties panel is
wrong - it says menu2.png. The correct document relative path is dress_images/menu2/menu2.png.
When I drag the Point to File icon over the menu2.png on the Files panel, it correctly displays
the full path, but when I let go of it, it sets the path back to menu2.png. I can not even type it
in the source box and get it to stay.
Here is the problem. When I click on the Edit button, it says it can't find the png. It is using
the full path from the C: drive instead of the document relative path. If I browse to the png file
and open it in Dreamweaver then click the Done button, it saves the png file but does not change
any of the content on the HTML page.
Fireworks and Dreamweaver CS3 worked perfectly here. Help!
I just tried to do this on another computer. This time when I pasted the Fireworks HTML onto the
page in Dreamweaver it set the path correctly (it was a root relative path instead of a document
relative path). I tried to edit in Fireworks using the Edit button, and it opened Fireworks without
any problem. I made some changes then clicked the Done button. Now the Done button is suppose
to be like magic. It is suppose to save the changes to the png file, make the changes on the HTML
page in Dreamweaver, and change any of the supporting files (images) that have been edited. It
always worked this way in CS3, and anything less than this would be a huge step backwards. In this
case, it saved the changes to the png, but did not make any other changes. The web page in
Dreamweaver is still the same. How do I get the Done button to work its magic using CS5.
Another problem - when I paste the code onto the page, the page looks totally messed up. If I save it
and reopen it then it looks fine. However, this never occurred with CS3. Aren't updates to software
suppose to be improvements?

Yes, the web site is correctly defined in Dreamweaver. I teach web design for both high school and
adult school, and I have done this procedure 100's of times with CS3. There is something different with
CS5. I took your suggestion and imported the Fireworks HTML using Insert -> Image -> Fireworks HTML,
but it still does not work. I can edit it in Fireworks, hit the Done button, and the png file is saved but
the HTML page remains the same.
Also, the export does not get the path right, and it will not let me set the path right. The only way the path
is right is if the page that I am pasting the Fireworks HTML is in the same folder as the png. It always
sets the png's path as menu.png. Therefore, if the page is in a different folder, the document relative path
won't find it. This was never a problem with CS3. In fact, you could paste the code using Control-V and it
would work 100% of the time. That is how we always did it. When exporting from Fireworks, I would set
Export to "copy to clipboard" then move to Dreamweaver, click where I wanted the code pasted and do Control-V and presto it would
always work. You could come back a month later, select the table, click the Edit button, make changes
in Fireworks, click the Done button and the changes would be reflected on the HTML page in Dreamweaver without
doing anything more. I have tried it with "copy to clipboard" and I have tried it with "export HTML file". Neither
works. There is definitely something different between CS3 and CS5, and right now I am missing CS3.

Can I access my files for backup before erasing and reinstalling?

I haven't been able to find a thread dealing with this specific problem, so I thought I should try my luck with a post...
On Friday, my computer crashed and I have not been able to start it again. First, I got the image of a blinking file folder with a ?, subsequent restarts have produced the normal grey screen with the apple, followed by a blue screen or by simply shutting off. Booting in Safe Mode also produces a blue screen.
Booting from the install disk (OS 10.4) allows me to open Disk Utility, but I cannot repair the disk: Invalid Node Structure. When booting from the OS 10.5 disk, I cannot perform a repair disk: the BOOTCAMP partition of the drive is normal, but the Hard Drive partition is greyed out and indicates that the drive is not mounted.
I just bought an external hard drive last week and have used Time Machine to create backups, but it looks like the backups do not actually contain files - just references to the structure of my computer. I have many files backed up, but I will lose many other files and applications if I try to erase and reinstall. Is there a way I can access those files now, so I can transfer them to the external drive before I try to erase and reinstall (or, worst case scenario, replace the HD)?

I thought I would try restoring the system through Time Machine, using my external HD. The restoration process seemed to go well (no messages or interruptions). I opened Disk Utility to check the HD. It is no longer greyed out and when checked, it comes up okay, no need for repairs. However...
I just booted up again without the Install Disk and I got a black screen this time, with large white text saying "Disk Error/ Press any key to restart".
I pressed many keys, none of which restarted the computer. I shut it down with the power button and am trying to startup again.

Crashes when running applications from network share - "Windows cannot access the file for one of the following reasons"

starting a couple of weeks ago, we get the following error(s) when running applications from a network share. We don't know what causes this, we are not aware of any major changes in our network infrastructure or client/Server configuration. We did upgrade
a lot of machines to Windows 8, but the issue also occurs on older Win7 computers.
We figured out a workaround though: The applications run fine when launching from a FQDN share (like
\\share.domain.Company.com) and only cause problems when running from
\\share directly. They have worked fine for years without FQDN though.
Any ideas?

It sounds like a DNS suffix issue. When this issue occurs, please try to ping share on the client, then check if the corresponding IP address is correct. If the IP address is wrong, please adjust your settings of DNS to make sure that the client can resolve

Edit Source Files For Skins?

One of our programmers has asked about the possibility of editing the tab index for the skin on the Captivate demos I'm producing. Apparently, the stock playback skins don't meet our accessibility standards as tightly as he'd like. Anyway, I've found a folder in the Captivate 3 program folder called "Templates", within which is another folder called "PlaybackFLA" that contains what appear to be the Flash source files for the skins. The names of these Flash files correspond to the names of the skins in the dropdown menu, so I assume these are the ones.
I opened one in Flash and it was clearly the same playback controls used in my demo, so as a test I changed the button colors and saved it in the same folder under a different file name. However, when I launched Captivate and looked for my new skin in the drop down menu it wasn't listed. Now I'm confused. Can anyone tell me why my altered skin Flash files don't appear with the others? Any help would be welcome.

Did you close and restart Captivate?
I ask because many things like this are read in when Captivate starts. So if it's left running (even with a project closed) it's unaware of changes until the housekeeping routines at startup read it in again.

Source files for sapjco3

Does anyone have access to/know how to get access to the source files for the sapjco library? In particular, I am seeking the .c files that were used to create libsapjco3.so. These are needed for an Android application that I am building.

Howdy Erhan,
The short answer is that using jco via mobile is a clean and easy interface, that doesn't involve web services. The entire point of my app (which is a PoC) is to avoid having to set up a .bsp or .jsp page and all the security concerns that comes with it. Using the jco package, you can "log-in" in an analogous manner to the SAP log-on. Again, it's clean, simple and easy.
Having access to the source files, whether in java or c, would be an immense help.

Generate xml source file for Oracle Order Capture Print Quote

Hi,
I am new to xml and need to work on creating templates for Print Quote.
I am trying to generate the xml source file for which I enabled the report in system administrator and set the output to XML and assigned to Quoting Reports responsiblity. I then assigned XML Report Publisher to the same responsiblity.
I ran the report (Print Quote) and then I am trying to run the XML Report Publisher but I cannot get the request id in the list of values.
I am able to generate xml source file for other reports like Printed Purchase Order etc.,
The view output for the (Print Quote) report is as follows:

Hi, I am in the same position - did this issue ever ger resolved by anyone. I have done a few XMLP reports successfully now using the Word add-in, but customising the Quote output differs from other standard reports.
If you look at the data definition for Quote it is a 'dummy' definition and has no XML file attached. Does anyone know how I can get the XML format for the report output?
Also the template uses XSL-FO ?!?!?! rather than RTF - not sure how to work with this, the Oracle docs are not very helpful in this regard either.
Has anyone successfully managed to customise the Quote print report? Many thanks,

Can't write cache file for while creating domain in soa 11.1.1.5 on HP-UX

Hi,
Installing SOA 11.1.1.5 on HP-UX and during domain creation/configuration I am getting the below errors
**sys-package-mgr: can't write cache file for**
and have lots of cache file errors for different packages
Any idea what might be wrong and whats the cause of these errors and is it safe to ignore these errors if not what is the work arround. As I already looked at the below post but I don't find */var/tmp/wlstTemp* on my machine as suggested in the post below.
SOA 11.1.1.5 install got can't write cache file
So wondering if there's anything else I can do i.e. while creating or configuring a Domain pass some parameter to config.sh etc.

i have done the same activity ( buy a new iphone 4 -> upgrade to ios5 - > configure email) with success-
than when i start to move the contacts from old mobile to iphone (using the microsim) i receive the same crash
in disgnosis e use i saw 2 dump with this title 'latestCrash-Preferences.plist and LatestCrash.plist. in each file the date is the same and i read:

Folio Builder: An error has occurred opening the source file for the article layout.

I have been working on a Folio. When I sat down to work on my folio, I was instructed by indesign to update my Folio producer tools, which I did.
Since then I can no longer view any article layout from that folio in indesign. Indeed any folio that I create that does not reside on my desktop give the same problem. I can import articles, add articles and they all upload to the proper place at adobe and I can view them. But I simply cannot open them up through folio builder as I previously.
The exact error message is as below:
An error has occurred opening the source file for the article layout.
The InDesign file for the layout cannot be found.
Another strange thing that seems to be happening is that the folio will randomly reoder the articles in the folio.
I have dumped my indesign prefs, tried creating an entirely new project, made a new account and even reinstalled the entire software.
But the problem of opening an article that I have imported or added to a folio, simply not being found to open has got me stumped. I can't proceed with a major project until I can sort this out.
Can anyone help.

Example of a source file for Creating general maintenance task list

Hi SAP Gurus,
I need to create general maintenance task list from a source file. Reading forums i found that it is possible by using LSMW, with object 0490 and method 0000.
However, I don't know how to associate structure IBIPTLST, IBITLOP and IBIPMAT. When i assign individual source files for each structure, and I execute LSMW, a problem appears indicating that IBITLOP don't have all the required fields from the list header.
This is the structure propose by SAP in standar programa IBIP.

I think that in order to create a RPM, you'd need to
use some C.Nope - the RPM is all about packaging and the "magic" x.spec file. You can have anything you want in the RPM, but you have to use RPM tools to build the .rpm file. One of the features is that you can also indicate (via "install" scripts) modifications to other files or the filesystem to support the installation of whatever's in the RPM.
