Can't activate Ipad 1?

Hi everyone I know it's about time to replace Ipad 1 but still wondering if anyone can fix this problem?
Ipad ran out of power the other night, the next day I charged it, turned it on and it says it needs to be activated. Tried a few times it didn't work, always turns off and back to the same page 'Ipad cannot be activated on the server. Try later or activate via Itunes.' So I connected it to Itunes and the only option there is to restore it to factory setting, hoping that it will bring it back I restored it. After that, when i turned on Ipad it asked me to set up the language, region and connect to a WIFI network, and then it's on the activation page again. Tried many times and it always turns off and come back to this page.
Anyone knows how to fixed it? I tried taking the SIM out, updated Itunes to the latest version. nothing worked...

Try following these instructions for putting your device into DFU mode then restore.

I have just moved to apple from blackberry today.
I can honestly say my £100 playbook can connect to wifi and i can surf away with no activations etc etc
My Brand new out of the box today ipad mini is unable to do diddle as it is unable to connect to the activation server, oh yes thats a £450 ipad against a £100 playbook. Why am I unable to activate within 14 days for instance so at least I can be up and running

I recently broke the screen of my iPad but the hardware was working very well. Today I got it back from the repair service I gave it to (not Apple store), and when I turn on the iPad, it tells me to activate the iPad using my Apple ID, I enter all my info correctly, but it doesn't unlock. Did they give me a wrong iPad, did I get scammed? Please I need help quickly since I will be leaving the town after 3 days. Thanks for any help

Do you have the serial number of the iPad you purchased & sent in for repair? If so, look on the back/bottom of the iPad to see the serial number of the iPad you have. Does it match?

Can't activate ipad after erasing?

I upgraded to ios7 and then could not use my imessages or facetime. I could not login with my apple account. I finally resorted to backing up my data in itunes and erasing all of the data and resetting my IPad. When I went to set up the IPad as a new device it asked for my apple ID and password for activation but does not recognize the one I use for my apple account. I Iooked through various apple support docs and went into iCloud but there is no device associated with iCloud and I cannot find any previous usernames or passwords associated with the device. I am stuck. I now cannot use my Ipad at all.

Sorry, without the original Apple ID and Password, you cannot activate your iPad. Did someone setup the iPad for you using his/her Apple ID and Password?

You can try to figure out which Apple ID/email address and/or password you used to activate it by going to http://iforgot.apple.com
If you can't, you'll need to contact Apple Account Security with your proof of purchase.

As long as you're logged into the same AppleID on both devices, this is not a problem. It's only a problem if you're logged into a different AppleID and then try to associate FaceTime with an email that tied to the other AppleID.

My second problem is with Bluetooth on my Ipad.
I can't activate the Bluetooth function on my Ipad Air with iOS 8.2.
At Settings>Bluetooth there isn't a activate or YES/NO button.
It allways shows a wait symbol (little turning circle)
Do you have you any tipps for me?

You can try the standard troubleshooting steps in this order:
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds). No data will be lost.
Restore: Connect your device to iTunes on your computer, backup, and then select Restore to Factory.

Can I change the original apple id to activate ipad

I am wondering if any iPad expert out here can help me. I had to reset my son's iPad 2 after he forgot the new pass code he changed last week. Now I am getting the Activate iPad screen.
I have the Apple Id that was used to activate the iPad as we bought it from new. But I can't remember the password. I managed to sign in to myAppleId site through security question validation, and requested password resetting for the Apple Id.
Apple sent a verification link to the email address which is my son's hotmail.co.uk account, but he has not used this hotmail account for long long time as he could not remember the password. It is all a bit of mess, I know.
So now, I am stuck.
In the my Apple Id site, I have an option to change Apple Id and primary email address. If I change this to my email account, and consequently change the Apple Id as well, will I be able to use this new Apple Id to activate the iPad? My worry is that it will still not match with the original Apple Id we first used to activate the iPad from new.
I am absoulely frustrated. Contacted Microsoft regarding resetting hotmail account password, the security rules are so restrict, and they can't help as this hotmail account has not been in use for long long time, and I can't provide any info such as when the last email was sent, etc.
Please help me ...

Yes, easy to do.
Go to Settings>General>Erase All Content and Settings, then set up your iPad as a new one. You'll have to put in your ID and password to force the erase.

You can't, i'm sorry. What you're running into is the activation lock and it requires that the original owner release it with their apple ID before you can set it up.

There is no chance at all that you can activate the iPad without the previous user's Apple ID and password. That is the feature of iOS 7 Activation Lock.
Every time I read one of these post, I can't help but think that the user asking about this (in this case - you) was duped into purchasing a stolen device. If the seller was legit, they would have erased the device completely before they sold it.
