   I don't know if this is the proper section to post this question but,if it isn't please move it to the apropriate section.Thank you.
I have downloaded Visual Studio 2013 Express from Dreamspark (because I am a student),for free.I installed it,it worked perfectly,but now it asks me to activate the product.
I tried loging in,but it says that my acount is not a valid Microsoft acount (is the acount that I use to download the software and register it in the first instance).
Then I tried to create another microsoft acount and use the same email adress,and it says that "This email has allready a Microsoft acount linked to it."
I mailed dreamspark support and it guided me to ask my question on the forums,in hope that some Microsft engineers will help me with my issue.

Well I'm not sure. You say you tried logging in but you don't say how or what "it" is that said your account is not a valid account. Apparently your account is fine or you wouldn't have been able to logon to post a question in these forums. Possibly
you tried to login from Visual Studio 2013 Express and maybe the information in it for the account to use is invalid?
Visual Studio 2013 Express editions are free as is Visual Studio 2013 Community edition and can be downloaded for free from
Visual Studio Downloads. Although students can get full Visual Studio Professional for free from
Dreamspark apparently.
There's 4 Express versions. But since the Community editions is basically Visual Studio 2013 Professional for small entities why use an Express edition?
Personally I would remove Visual Studio 2013 Express and download
Visual Studio 2013 Community with update 4 ISO and once the ISO is downloaded, rather than copying it to a DVD to Install it, I would use a program to extract it's files to a Folder on my desktop. Then open the folder the files were extracted to and select
the Installer to install it. I prefer this method to performing an online downloading install where anything can cause the install to fail.
Microsoft recommends the following programs for doing that. However I used
7Zip, which is free and I downloaded probably 4 years or so ago, to do that with Visual Studio 2015 Preview and it worked fine.
"Extract the .ISO files to your hard drive.        
Contents of .ISO image files can be accessed directly using third-party tools that allow file extraction from the file to a temporary folder on your hard drive (similar to .zip files). As with the virtual drive, this approach is advisable to install application
software or system upgrades. An example of this approach is the creation of an installation thumb drive to install software on netbooks or other devices with no optical drive.

    If it's the same machine (same CPU) there should not be any need to activate.  The actiovation is tied to your CPU.

    I'm not that familiar with how FaceTime works. I know how to set It up but I don't use it. I just know that you can't activate in the UAE. I believe that you can activate in any country that permits it's use. Whether you will need a new ID or not, I can't confirm.
    You can Google this and get all sorts of articles on workarounds. Apparently if you set up a VPN you can use it in the UAE. Here is one article that I found.

  • Can't activate products with valid creative cloud subcription.

    Briefly:
    i have a valid cloud subcription.. I dowloaded Adobe application manager. Signed in to Creative cloud website than clicked the link "download" which opened application manager and installed the selected product.
    After i opened the installed product i tried to activate it. I clicked on the LIncense Sofware button and logged in with the adobe id. But it strted to asks for serial number. So i turned to adobe support live chat. After one hour of chat turned out the problem is that i have a Windows OS with hungarian language and application manager installed the hungarian version of photoshop which can t be activated with crative cloud subcription,
    Is this true?
    THey recommended me to install adobe products on an OS with english language and install english version adobe products. I don t think this ok!
    Can anybody help me??? Or creative cloud subcription is waste og mony if i don t have english OS??

    When the Adobe Application Manager starts up, ou can click on your name that appears on the Adobe Application Manager and choose Preferences.
    In preferences choose the magyar language and install the softwares.
    If you want you can install them in English language and there should not be any issue in activating the products. Creative Cloud subsiption doesnot requires a Serial Number number, just sign-in is required.
    Please try it and let me know what happens.

    I am trying to install Windows Vista Business (retail boxed) 64 bit.  The box didn't include 64 bit media and so I've downloaded it from technet. The install asks for the product key but it is not accepted "your product key cannot be validated.

    I'm a bit confused with this paragraph, as you said Vista already install on your computer, why did you say Windows can't be installed?
    According to your description with your problem, it is Product edition and key are not match. Firstly of all, we must make sure the system you installed on your computer was
    Windows Vista Business, not matter 32 or 64 bit.
    Note: you can check current system edtion at System Properties.
    After that, you can try to input your product key and activate your system for test.
    If problem still presists, it would be better to provide the activation error message.

    If your phone was previously hacked to unlock it, when you updated the hack was removed and it's re-locked to the original carrier.  The phone will now activate and operate only with that original carrier.

    As long as you're logged into the same AppleID on both devices, this is not a problem.  It's only a problem if you're logged into a different AppleID and then try to associate FaceTime with an email that tied to the other AppleID.
