Can't activate my Network Magic software after reinstalling

After a clean installation of Windows 8 Pro I've installed my Network Magic software. After the setup I've tried to activate my legal version but it won't accept a connection to register and to activate. I've found out that Cisco no longer supports Net Magic so activation is no longer possible in The Netherlands. Cisco says that there is no other replacement network tool from Cisco for my WRT 320N and other Cisco devices. Is there any possibility to activate my software of Network Magic on a other way (in the USA or in the register of Windows or Network Magic)? Thx Martin

One possible reason why the software can't be installed is because of the firewall on your computer or an antivirus software. Try to turn the firewall off or disable your antivirus software temporarily and activate Network Magic again.

Yes. Also, you are allowed to have the software installed and active on two machines, so if you like you can continue to have it on the original machine. If you want to remove it from the original machine be sure to deactivate it first.

IPad 3 can't activate mobile network

I upgrated from iPad 1 to iPad 3, backend Up the Opld pad, changed the sim Card and restored everything on my New ipad.
But whenever I Fry to use the mobile network, I receive the message: "mobile network can not be activated." when I then make a soft reset, I can use the mobile network until I switch the iPad Off. When I start it again, the same procedure, no mobile network, until I do a soft reset.
This morning, I startend a factory reset - nothing changed.
Does anybody have an idea how to resolve this?

same problem here in Czech Republic. New iPad, T-Mobile SIM with data plan, but when I leave any Wifi network and try to use cellular data, error appears. Tried many different approaches like reseting network settings, turning off wifi and cell data, then turning on only data. I tried different APN settings and already did Restore of my iPad. But only soft reset works and then data are runing smoothly for some time, until I connect to wifi and leave it.
One thing I didn't tried is creating new iPad without backup, but I don't want to do this. I think my backup from iPad 1 (wifi) shouldn't be problem.
This issue really annoys me, because I bought 4G version to be fast on net everytime, because using iPhone's hotspot like on my previous wifi iPad was complicated for quick internet use. But when I need everytime reboot my iPad??? No way...
Hope it's just an issue in iOS or with provider (t-mobile?) and will be solved. I'd like to try different network, but I don't have another microSIM.

Installing network controller driver after reinstalling Windows 7 on HP TouchSmart 310-1038d

Hi, I have a HP TouchSmart 310-1038d; Serial number 4CSO4309SH; Windows 7 64 bit. After reinstalling Windows 7, the following devices are not working properly (am not able to connect to any network). Can I activate an old AppleCare warranty after the 1 year warranty has expired?

I bought the iPhone 4 on 24th June 2010.
I did not purchase AppleCare (never received reminder email).
My iPhone 4 original 1 year warranty expired on 24th June 2011.
Someone has offered me an iPhone 4 AppleCare box purchased around Easter 2011, they didn't open/activate it.
Can I now register and activate the AppleCare purcahsed Easter 2011 with my iPhone 4, or did I have to activate the AppleCare before 24th June 2011?

I can't activate my premiere pro CC after the trial now has expired.

My trail mode has expired, so I signed a creative cloud contract. Now when I try to open premiere pro it asks me to either enter a license key (which I don't have) or sign in with my password and ID. As soon as I do this the program redirects me to the website, where you can sign a contract. When I try to sign it again, it says I already have signed it (of course). But the program still says the trial has expired and I need to sign in. I even tried to uninstall the program completely but when I reinstall it the same error occurs again, same like before. Any suggestions?

Kindly reset the host file.
Windows
Choose Start > Run, type %systemroot% \system32\drivers\etc, and then press Enter.
Right-click the hosts file and select Open. Select Notepad for the application to open the hosts file.
Back up the hosts file: Choose File > Save As, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.
Search the hosts file for entries that reference activate.adobe.com (for example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and delete these entries.
Save and close the file.
Mac OS
Log in as an administrator to edit the hosts file in Mac OS.
In a Finder window, choose Go > Go To Folder.
Type /etc.
Select the hosts file and open it.
Back up the hosts file: Choose File > Save As, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.
Search the hosts file for entries that reference activate.adobe.com (for example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and delete these entries.
Save and close the file.
Please let us know whetehr it worked.

Can't activate Lightroom from trial version after paying via the website.

It's stunningly hard to activate a trial installation of Lightroom. A month ago when I downloaded the software I thought it was possible to buy the software outright. Now it seems to be leased annually. And now I paid the first year's instalment and received the 'activation' email, I click the cloud download box and see the trial version I already installed pop up asking for a serial number. I don't have a serial number. My Account information shows an order number but no more details - that'll be available "in 24 hours".
So. I paid, but have no software and no service so far. And Support doesn't have an email address...
Windows 8, Firefox browser. Any suggestions gratefully received...

then open lr.

Can´t Activate my CS Premium software?

My PC crashed recently and I lost my Adobe Creative Suite Premium. I re-installed it using the Installer discs 1 and 2 everything downloaded fine but when I tried to Activate it, using the 24 digit serial number on the box, I got a message saying "The activation system is not available at this time" and it gave me the option to Activate by phone. When I did so I got a recorded message saying that I had entered insufficient digits. I repeated this proceedure several times, again using the 24 digit code from the box with the same result each time.
I have now attempted to Activate the software several times and keep getting the same message.....any suggestions???.

Apple TV, cannot activate on network, but works after

Our environment is a school. We have a Sonicwall firewall and Lightspeed for content filtering. We just purchased 50 Apple TVs.
When we first turn on the Apple TV, we join it to our wireless network. Then it gets stuck on setting date and time. It gets stuck on setting date and time no matter of we are wireless or wired.
So, I broke out my Verizon MiFi and joined the TV to the Mifi. Once on my Mifi, the TV works perfectly, sets up and rocks and rolls.
Then we take it off of the Mifi and join it bac to our network and it works perfectly.
So, we only have to use the Mifi for the first boot up and initial time sync. After that, it works on our network just fine.
Of course, I'm thinking the firewall is blocking something, but I don't know what to look for. What ports does the initial activation use that it doesn't use after that? Nothing is blocked outbound, but I'm guessing there is some return traffic that never makes it to the TV in that initial activation so I need to know what it is.
Ideas? Thoughts? Suggestions?

This might help:
Apple TV (2nd gen.) saw my wireless network but did not accept my password (gave a network error message). It fixed instantly doing this:
Made a note of the Apple TV's MAC address. Get it by pressing Menu on the remote, then Settings > General > About. It's called "WiFi address."
Use your browser on a network connected computer to go to your router settings (usually 192.168.1.1).
Under "Wireless > Wireless MAC Filter" (or something similar) do these steps:
Enable Wireless MAC filter
Enable "Permit PCs listed below to access the wireless network"
Enter the Apple TV's MAC address
Click "Save Setting"
When I did this the network connection immediately started working.
Note: These instructions are based on a Cisco Wireless-N Broadband, model WRT160Nv2, firmware v2.0.02.

i have problems to access internet EDGE and 3G with my sim card in my iphone 3GS.
so I tried to connect to internet with the same sim card in another cell phone, and..it works perfectly.
just in my iphone 3gs, this sim card does'nt works.
The sms and call services work normally, just the internet not work.
The operator of my sim card tells me didn't have any problem with the signal, its normal.
Another sim card, that be the same operator than my sim card, works normally too, and connect the internet normally.
i have configured apn and analized the signal, nobody knows whats the problem!

I guess you didn't read my message. CALL YOUR CARRIER. It is a carrier problem in the setup of your account.

I can't activate Premiere Pro CC trial after successful installation on my macbookpro

When I try to launch Premiere Pro CC trial, I just get a screen saying that I'm not conected to the internet or that my clock is set incorrectly which might cause a connection error. My clock is set to automatic for timezone and internet connection is working fine.
I've retried many times without any luck. Anyone know the answer to this problem?
