Can't activate subscription

I've been running CS5.5 on a yearly subscription for a couple of weeks now on tower and laptop without any difficulties. But this morning I am unable to start any of the applications as the Application Manager says I'm not connected to the internet (which I am) and is unable to activate the Suite. It's still working on the laptop fine which is connected to exactly the samre network. Any help?

I did have a look at that link but it wasn't helpful in my situation. I was alternately getting the messages that I needed a serial number or that there was no subscription linked to my account (even though the first computer recognised me and was working fine.)
So unfortunately for anyone experiencing the same issue, I'm still not sure what the problem was. 3 hours online to adobe support later, they got it sorted.

    When you no longer need the Adobe software on a computer or you wish to move it to another one, you should deactivate the software.

    I'm a bit confused with this paragraph, as you said Vista already install on your computer, why did you say Windows can't be installed?
    According to your description with your problem, it is Product edition and key are not match. Firstly of all, we must make sure the system you installed on your computer was
    Windows Vista Business, not matter 32 or 64 bit.
    Note: you can check current system edtion at System Properties.
    After that, you can try to input your product key and activate your system for test.
    If problem still presists, it would be better to provide the activation error message.

  • I can't activate my application with my serial.

    I have bought Creative Cloud and after some issues I got the serial and activated it online at Adobe(My products) but now when I download the applications, such as dreamweaver, I can't activate it. Should I use a different serial or what am I doing wrong? If it makes any difference I am a student and have a Student/Educational Subscription for a year.

    So, I did all four steps now, deleted every "activate.*different texts*.adobe.com" and checked the certrificate and tried to activate it again and once I got a message that I didn't have any internet connection although I am 100% sure I had it so I tried again and then the same message again that the Serial is wrong. And as you mention I shouldn't be needed to even write any serial in must be some mistake since I re-downloaded the whole application manager and relogged my account but still I have to write a serial in and get the same message. What can I do to fix it?

    Hello - taking a look at the open ticket you have with our support team, it seems they have communicated to you the reason why you're not getting free ProSite (see below). To answer your question, ProSite is not available as a standalone product in Argentina, so to get ProSite, you'd need to upgrade your Creative Cloud account to Full Creative Cloud, or switch to Single App, which comes with a free ProSIte.
    The Photoshop Photography Program that included ProSite was a limited time offer that is no longer available. The new Creative Cloud Photography plan is a different plan and does not include ProSite. If you see information on Adobe.com that indicates that Prosite is a part of CC Photography package, please let me know where you saw it so we can make sure this is corrected!
