Can't add any album artwork

Hi. When I add any album to itunes, I can't add any artwork for the album after. I use EAC for the trasfer of the songs and when I import them to itunes, I copy the album cover from internet and paste it to the left corner square. Sometimes it works but as soon as I switch songs the artwork disappears. I tried to add it by going to get info and by selecting all songs and nothing works. Any help would be appreciated.

What format are the tracks in? WAV won't take artwork. Anything else is likely to be a permissions problem - your account (or everyone) and SYSTEM need full access, files must not be read only..

When I listen to a song, all I can see is the album artwork!

Earlier today, I must've pressed something on the iPod to put it into a mode where I can only see the album artwork when I listen to a song - or even worse, if it doesn't have one, it's just a blank square. A while ago I read about some way to put it like this, but I can't remember what it was or how to reverse it. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried pressing the middle button to cycle views? There is one view that is similar to how you describe, although it only lasts a few seconds and I wasn't aware you could use that view by default.
You could also trying restoring your iPod.

Unable to add any movie artwork now

i like adding original theatrical posters to the movies in my Itunes movie list, but as of yesterday I can no longer add artwork. it lets me drop artwork into the info window but once i press "ok" is just disappears. all of my previous artwork is still there, i just can't add any more. any help appreciated - thanks

Just another note for those who are stuck without artwork, do not try to change the icons/thumbnails for the movies in finder to the movie posters using 3rd party software. Coverflow in Finder does not work the same way as in iTunes for larger files (movies), it will be really slow. Just thought i'd caution anybody who might have thought of this workaround as I wasted the last hour doing that and it does not work smoothly at all unless its a tiny file (under 2/3mb).

If not in the iTunes Store, iTunes uses the Graceland database for artwork and tag info.

How Can I sync iTunes album artwork with album folders on my Mac

Small Issue,
I just got a new macbook pro and uploaded copied the iTunes music folder from my PC, to an external hard drive then to the "music" folder in the Finder on my Mac. I then went into iTunes and added my library via the "add music" link (or something like that)
All the music upload and most of the album artwork was missing. I clicked "Get Album Artwork" and it replaced most of the album artwork
Here is the issue I need help with...
Some of the albums, which have album artwork inside iTunes, do not have album artwork if I go to the album folder in the finder. Is there anyway to get this artwork to sync up with the folder?
I ask because, I am kinda anal and like the artwork to show up if I play a song from the spotlight (I like playing music that way)
Am I going to have to manually add the album artwork into the finder folders?

I saved my iTunes library to my external hard drive right before my old mac laptop died and then tried to transfer it to my new iMac. Now when I try to play my old music it skips like a scratched cd. Also, now I can't add any music to my iPhone unless it was purchased recently through itunes and downloaded through icloud. I tried to "Organize" my library in hopes of correcting the problem but my iMac just ejects my external harddrive part way through. Please help!

Of what did your old Mac die?
It sounds to me like you have some file corruption somewhere. Either in the transfer of your library to the external or the external itself is flaky if it keeps ejecting.

Yes, if you choose the Erase and Sync option (or restore your iPod) you will be allowed to sync your iPod with the new computer.
If you would like to save the content that's currently on your iPod, see this older thread from another forum member Zevoneer discussing the different ways to copy the content on an iPod back to your PC.

Just updated to iTunes 10.2.1 and now can't add any new songs.

My MACbook is running 10.5.8 and just last week I updated to iTunes 10.2.1 but now I can't add any new songs at all. I go through the motions but when I check the "recently added" checklist, it's blank. The song is never added to my iTunes library. Is there a fix for this?

RESOLVED.
I tried updating iTunes to 10.2.2 thinking this might somehow help me but same situation. Upon further investigation, the set of MP3s I was trying to add didn't have the typical MP3 logo on them. When I tried to delete them from my system, it said "in use by application". I forced a delete. I copied the MP3s again to my MACbook and this time was successful in adding them. Looks like it was a bad set of MP3s and not iTunes.

I found that the Thunderbolt input accepts the mini-DVI (in my case converter to VGA for a tutorial use monitor)
BUT, you have to really oush it in 'til it clicks. I thought it too loose until I tried it. works just fine!!

Mailboxes can be added only to IMAP accounts. Is Bell setup as IMPAP or POP?

HELP! I can't add any clips to the storyline.

It used to work fine, dragging clips to the storyline or using Insert or Append.
Now I can't add any clips to the storyline, dragging doesn't seem to drag any clips, Append and Insert don't react.
I create a new project, and I see the storyline, but can't add anything to it.

Can't add any users while logged in as the ADMIN

Back in my post, http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=5314598#5314598 , I was stuck in a broken auto login, unable to get past the solid blue screen. I was able to fix that but now I can not add any new users to the accounts pane. Logged in as the ADMIN, I click on the + and nothing happens. I can not add anymore accounts. What can I do to solve this?

It is probably some residual effect from your single user mode actions detailed in your previous post.
Run *Repair Permissions* from Disk Utility to see if that is the cause.
If that doesn't fix it, try deleting the com.apple.loginwindow.plist from your admin account's Library/Preferences folder.
There is also the same file in
HD/Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow.plist
but I am not sure about the consequences of deleting that, as I've never done it.
Whichever you delete, log out and log back in again to re-create them.

Can't add any new email account - Bug with Ios 6.1.3?

For unknown reason, I can't add any new email account, I get stuck with when I have entrered my email address and password. In fact, the system says " checking" but nothing is happening. Do you have any idea?
Somebody proposed me to reset Safari which I did with same result.
I have two Iphone and 1 Ipad and I have exactly the same problem on all of them.

I finally found the reason, it was linked with my email suffix which was a shorten version. When I put the long one, my email address has been recognized. The strange things is the fact, I have set up earlier the same account in pop instead of imap without any issue. I need to fight with the server name too as my standard incoming server was not recogized on imap (no reason as it works with other system). However, I found my way and it works.
Thank you for your help. Maybe my demand will help somebody else.
