Can't add comments

I have been having issues with my adding comments part in the blog of my page. I publish to .mac, and have the add comments box checked prior to publishing. When I publish, immediately after, I or other computers can leave comments. After a little bit of time, usually a couple of hours, anyone who tries to leave a comment gets the error message "This entry no longer exists. The entry may have been moved or deleted." Is there some sort of bug I'm hitting? My site is http://www.the-guesses.com if anyone wants to check it out.

OK, this is really silly (on Apple's part) but I think I know what the problem is.

to redirect to your site (notice the W/w in iWeb/iweb)
HOWEVER, only with the capital W will your blog work!

When you're done you can use the Batch Change menu option to revert the Title to the file names. TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

Can you add comments to the XML reports other than one Block Comment and one Test Comment?

I know how to use Block Comments and Test Comments but if I need to add more comments to my XML report in a test other than one Test comment, is there a way to do this? In other words, I would like to be able to add say 5 comment lines for a single test. Also, can a Test Comment or Block comment be more than one line in length? If so, how do you do that?

What version of TS do you have? If you have 4.1 or better (might be possible in 4.0 I can't remember) you can just use the additional results. So in the step properties you will see Additional Results. Then just add as many as you want.
Then you will see it show up in the report like you want. I couldn't get multiple lines to work in one comment. I tried \n but that didn't seem to be supported here.

I can't add comments to cells in excel

It has been working fine up until this week, I've been able to add comments to individual cells in a spreadsheet but now it brings up the text box to type into and then before you get a chance to type it closes the comment box.

How can you add comments to a text file while using a Digital Waveform vi?

Hi. I'm very new to Labview. I have a txt file of 1's and 0's wired to a "read from text file" which is then wired to a "spreadsheet string to digital.vi" ("digital waveform") and lastly to a graph. I want to add notes to the txt file that will not be read in the digital waveform. i.e. Like how you use // or /* in a C++ program to show that you are writing a comment and not code.

You will just need in your text file a line at a time. Search the string for the characters // or /*. If it finds them, then loop back and read another line. If it doesn't find them, you must have a good line of data and you can pass on to the next part of your cod.

How come you can't add comments to blog that you create in IWeb unless you have a mobileme account when you can no longer get an account.

I have a site that i'm working on for class and i need to be able to have people comment on my blogs and stiff and they can't because im using FTP because I don't have a mobileme account. WIll this be changing soon that you can all comments to your site using IWeb.

How can I add comments to an iPhoto slide show that will appear onscreen?

I have put together a slide show on iPhoto (6.0.6) and I'd like to have a line of text appear with several of the slides - things like "Beginning our hike - " and "Closing ceremonies". I haven't been able to find anything in the help to describe how to do that - can it be done? Thanks.

How can I add comments in genius bar reservation after closing the window?

I was typing my additional comments in the genius bar reservation for servicing my Macbook Pro but i accidentally closed the window. Is it possible to get back to the reservation window and type in my comments??

Can I add comments to a Configuration File?

If so, how?
I want to be able to update the values in the file. At the moment I have lines beginning with a semi colon and am reading from the configuration file, but as soon as I enable writing to the file it gets messed up (="" added to the end of every comment line, header information deleted).

Begin and end each comment line with "\\" characters. Extra carriage return\line feed characters are allowed (to improve readability). I have only tried this on Windows XP so I don't know if it will work on other platforms.

actually yes, you can add comments and you can add documents in your reports, but documents not with the standard of BOPC. I did it with a trick for one of our customers. In the first cell I use VBA to let the user add a document. The path to the document will be written as comment in the DB. In the second cell I get the comment (path) from the DB again and change the format of the link to hyperlink. If you click to the hyperlink, the added document will open.

Why can't my recipient add comments in a pdf created in Frame 7.1?

I created a pdf in Frame 7.1. The recipient was using Reader 9 and could not add comments. I had enabled commenting and removed all security in Acrobat Pro 7.1. Did I miss something? Can you comment a pdf that was created in Frame 7.1?

Commenting is a function of Acrobat settings. FM7.x doesn't really matter in this case. I sounds like you've done it properly. Here's a quick link to enabling the Commenting function in Acrobat 7: http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/acrobat/articles/acr7ttrdrcomt/acr7ttrdrcomt.pdf
You might want to ask in the Acrobat Forums if there are known compatibility issues using the older version to enable commenting for the newer Reader.

Can't add/edit Spotlight Comments in Apple default apps

I can't add text to the Spotlight Comments field (via Get Info) in Apple's apps installed by default. The computer just beeps when I try to type something. However, I have no such problem with 3rd party apps.
Is this a bug or is there something I have to do to allow Spotlight Comments?
The permissions on all Apple apps installed by Snow Leopard are "system: "Read & Write," "wheel: Read only," and "everyone: Read only."

Someone else noted that and I tried a few and couldn't edit them, even after giving myself write permissions. It might be tied to some form of code signing/protection.

Can I add a Comments box to a non-Blog or Podcast page?

I want to create a website that allows friends and family to add comments. Do I have to use a Blog or Podcast format or can I create a Blank page that will allow comments? Are there any other applications besides iWeb that will allow me to do this if iWeb won't?

The answer will most likely depend on what Software release and OS you using and where the Open Dialog is being opened from. For example Windows 7 Pro Photoshop CC menu File>Open the open dialog has a search area looks like a standard Windows 7 Open dialog. CS6 Does not have a search.
