Can't add or move toolbars in Acrobat 8 Professional

Any time I try to add a toolbar, it appears momentarily in the middle of the window and then disappears. If I try to move a toolbar, say from the top of the window to the bottom, the same thing happens; it's there just for a moment, then it's gone, and I can't get it back without resetting my toolbars. Please help.

Reader can't do most of that.
You may have been reading info on Acrobat.
In order to add comments in Reader, the file must first be enabled using a feature only available in Acrobat Pro.

Yes, you can add your own videos to iTunes, then sync them to your nano, subject to supported max resolution limit and file type. The specs for the 7th gen nano says (I don't know which nano model you have), Video Format Support

So, "HD" video is too high resolution, so iTunes will not sync such videos to the iPod (although they play in iTunes). If you are asking how to set up iTunes to sync videos in general (regardless of source), please post back.

How can I add javascript text fields to Acrobat pages from Applescript please?

I have a real need to add text fields to Acrobat document pages from Applescript. I can't access the Headers and Footers from Applescript in Acrobat XI. I can set watermarks using the following script, but cannot for the life of me work out how to add text fields. Any advice please?

Unfortunately I don't have the API. My Adobe Reader installation updating to version XI failed, and subsequent attempts to fall back on the X version are blocked by the partial install of XI. Damn Adobe stuff.
Could someone please post the relevant part of the API to give me some pointers, please.
I ha mucked about with some information I found on the Web, and come up with the following, which fails because I can't work out how to address the current document with the variable myDoc.

I can't add phising protection toolbar & get message that my version of Firefox isn't the latest, when it is.

Actually, there's another element. I get a message saying there's a update available that I should add, but when I click on that there's no update (and my preferences are set to receive updates automatically). Then I get a message about installing anti-phishing, which (it says) needs to be added to my toolbar. But when I click on that it says it can't install that because I don't have the latest version of Firefox, but I do (I just downloaded it again, just in case).

The problem is not Firefox - it's Google. They have changed the safesearch options.
The way round it is to add the word 'nude' or similar to your keywords. Then you'll get taken to an 'are you sure' type option before finally showing you your results.

Can you add several movies that would play in sequence?

I was wondering if you could add 5 DV files that can be played (one after another), with NO chapters?
Or do I actually have to first connect all of them together in Final Cut (as ONE larger DV file?)
I was looking for a way to avoid that step, since I already have 5 separate DV files, and somehow bring them in iDVD so that they could play one after another.

It's better to keep sidebars to the left or right side of slideshows. When you start layering elements on top of slideshows, the fading in/out of images can adversely effect the visibility of your sidebar content. So it's best to avoid the problem entirely by not layering.
To offer suggestions about your slideshow, we would need to see the URL.

Can I add Strikethrough to toolbar?

I know that I can get to strikethrough in the Character Styles drawer, but is there a way not to have to open this up but insert a button (as in WORD) into the toolbar, next to underline, bold, and italics?

Of course, I tried to change the type from «i» to «c» and it changed nothing.
They behave the same.
The only true difference is that Emphasis is a named style while _using bold_ doesn’t create a named style.
Studying that, I saw that there is an other way to get Strikethrough: it’s available from the Styles palette and this, like the one in the format bar, apply a named style.

How can I add a .mov video file to the beginning of an existing .mp4 video file?

I normally use final cut for all of my editing but Im having a lot of trouble converting this mp4 with bad pixelation.
The mp4 is my only master copy of my original 8mm student film.
It has some bad opening titles I need to alter and I need to slap my production logo on the front before I can even think of releasing this again.
Any ideas?

i can't add my movie which is MPEG4 to iTunes library in my laptop. i open the file or drag it, nothing happened.
then i copied this movie to my office computer, and download iTunes to my office PC, this movie was added to the iTunes library successfully.

This indicates that one or more of your parameters is not correct. Since your movie is MPEG4, you did not use the built-in QT Pro "Movie to iPod (320x240)" preset. Recommend you use this setting initially until you learn correct parameters allowed for sync of iPod compatible files.
If you want to use the MPEG4 file format and wish to skip experimenting on your own and/or looking up specific settings to use (as well as those you need to turn off), suggest you download Digigami's "MoviesForYourPod" application. This application will use your QT tools but has more presets than the High Quality, 2-Pass (slow) preset found in QT Pro's export.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Neither this application nor QT Pro itself can convert muxed MPEG movies which have no audio when converted. Many AVI formats cannot be converted without a component from DivX or 3ivX.
