I am having trouble to add Skype credits. Does anyone knows how to stop redirecting your purchase through Tom Skype? my skype is 2 years old.

  • Can't add skype credit

    Hi guys, I've been having some issues with my skype credit. During the last week, my credit has been automatically delivered and then reversed without me trying to add any credit and without my credit going under the $4.00 limit. I contacted live chat and they said I should change my password and email for security reasons. I did that and today I had the same problem but my skype credit went to 0 from $10. I decided to remove all stored payment details just in case and then re add them by buying more credit. Unfortunately it has been impossible to add credit again using my credit cards, since that is my preffered method of recharging my account.
    I get the "Please check your order details and try again, or get in touch if you need help." message. I contacted live chat twice again and also called my bank to see if there was a problem with my card, but they assured me that all is good.Basically the live chat sends me to the bank and the bank sends me to live chat!!!
    I've even tried recharging another skype account I have, to which I have never added credit before and still have the same problem.
    I also tried a second credit card but no luck either.
    Both cards were working fine till now.
    Does anybody know any possible solution? It is very important to me because this is how I communicate with my family overseas.

    unfortunately, i think it is only the customer support can possibly assist you from this point.  You may need to contact them again, provide them an updated and detailed description of the current situation, specify the actions you already did, then ask them what your other possible options are.

    If you are both on Skype there isn't any point in using STG as Skype-to-Skype calls are free.

  • How can I add a new user to my managed account?

    *There is an existing skype user.  i.e She already has a skype account
    *I have a Skype Manager account and want to provide her with SkypeCredit
    *I am having trouble doing that.  It seems that I can add a new member to my group only if they are a new user (i.e. they get a new skype address). Then I seem to have learned that this might not be possible if I or they (?) are in the US.
    Will someone clarify this?
    Skype support tells me that: 
    "Reymark C: I am afraid adding members in somewhere in US is no longer available."
    Is this somewhere on the help pages that I missed.  Being logged-in, skype knows where I am (or where I list my home as).  Why did it let me waste so much time struggling with this?
    Also, why is there this restriction?

    Aside, why can't the skype support use skype-screenshare?  I wanted to show what I saw.  Instead, we had me sign some online contract, gave control of my computer to the support person.  Spent a fair amount of time doing this.   Enable your users to use skype to see our screens, please, Microsoft.  You can still record the conversation and record the screenshare, can't you?

  • Unable to buy skype credits

    For almost a year I'm trying to buy skype credits. But there are some problems, because I started using skype when I was in China. Now I have to buy credits reading Chinese symbols, luckily they added a translate button to Englisch so I thought my problem was solved. WRONG because I have a European bank account I still can't purchase skype credits!!!!
    I should open a new account, but that is also not possible because skype knows my email address and tells me, very friendly that I already have an account. So I'm stuck, I worked around this service for a long time, but now a have to use it again.
    So somebody please help me to buy credits and ore change my account to an European one!

    While I appreciate the inconvenience, the easiest thing to do would be to create a new Skype account and use or create a different or new e-mail address.  Your first account is affiliated with Skype's partner in the PRC.

  • Skype to go 6.1.59.129 - can't add more numbers

    I'm on pay subscription to call any number but can't add a new phone number for months. once I load the interface (Skype >Acccounts > Skype to go number tab, a popup error comes up : "Stop running this script? a script on this page is causing your web browser to run slowly. If it continues to run, you computer might become unresponsive." skype version: 6.1.59.129 With this error I can't see the add number and consequently this service is useless for me.     This is the message I get when I try to order/pay for addional skype credits.  How do I get more credits?  Who do get in touch with to get more skype credits?

    Wire a suitable format string to "write to spreadsheet file" to show more decimal digits.
    Note that the orange wire always contains the full 64bit of information. The formatted decimal display is just cosmetic.

    Hi there.  I spent nearly 2 hours fiddling with the website and clicking every single possible thing I could click on.  Eventually what I did was I had to buy Skype credits, then I had to go in and request a refund which opened up a live chat.  They refunded my $10 bucks for Skype credit and confirmed that the credit card I used was "a great way to update your credit card information" and then applied the new card to my subscription and Skype number.
    Needless to say, while the support agent was very nice, I was seriously boiling red hot with infurating burn it to the ground rage when I contacted them.  My cable company wanted to much for phone service so I decided to stick it out, but holy crap it took for-ev-er.  I recommended with every fiber of my being that the support agent put forth a ticket to a) create an up to date tutorial for changing your credit card information without having to purchase something and then be refunded; and b) to put a UI change request in to make it easier.
    I signed off our chat by saying that if this was Amazon that Bezos would have a fit over this issue.
