Can't apply AR credit for freight only

Hi,
I have created the credit memo, with nothing in the rows but an amount in the Freight section of the footer. Then this credit memo can be selected along with one or more invoices when creating an incoming payment and we click on ADD to complete the payment, we are getting an error on the incoming payment which says "No Record Matching" and references RIN1, the A/R Credit Memo rows.
Is this is a bug or i am missing some setting due to which i am not able to create payment???

I am not sure what you want to convey depending when you say depending on the version values goes to RIN2, can you eloborate.

It is sometimes necessary to enter an A/P Credit Memo for freight only. This has been doen by entering a service-type credit memo, with nothing in the rows but an amount in the Freight section of the footer. Then this credit memo can be selected along with one or more invoices when creating an outgoing payment. This procedure has worked without any problms in version 2007.
Now the customer is upgrading to 8.81 PL8. When the scenario above is followed, there is an error on the outgoing payment which says "No Record Matching" and references RPC1, the A/P Credit Memo rows. If I populate a row on the credit memo with any GL account and a zero amount, there is no error. We have tested at 8.81 PL9 and also 8.82 PL0, and the error also comes up in those versions.
Is this a bug in the system? There doesn't seem to be any reason why the credit memo should not be accepted in the outgoing payment, regardless of whether it has anything in the rows or not.

I have checked this issue in several different databases, including the SAP demo, in the different versions referenced above. The results are consistent: there is no error in versions prior to 8.81 PL8, and there is an error from PL8 onward.

If it applies, you can avoid accidental purchases.
From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Parental tab.
Select: "Disable iTunes Store" then click and click OK bottom right side of the pane.

Can I use store credit for in-app payment ?

Can I use store credit for in-app payment or do I have to use my credit card funds?
Although I have enough funds as store credit, everytime I want to make an in-app purchase from my Iphone, it takes me to my credit card and ask to confirm my cc info
Any ways to bypass this process ?

Well i dont know if you can use store credit.....i was asking that questiob myself, but i guess if you didnt want it to take you to your credit card right away, you could delete your cc info off your apple id. I myself dont have a credit card listed.

Why can you not login into the account ? You should be able to if you remember the account's password, if you can't then you can get it reset e.g. by answering your account's security questions : http://iforgot.apple.com
If you can't reset it via your security questions then contact Support in your country, they should be able to reset your password (and security questions) for you (after they've verified your id and that it's your account).

Hi, the freight might got post to a GL account. So, if you have setting in OKB9 between your cost element and profit centre, then the value will flow to a profit centre.

Some In-App Purchases works only with credit card.

If nothing shows on the purchase history on your account, and you only have the one iTunes account that the card has been linked to and it's not a temporary store holding charge (you haven't changed your card details on your account ?), then you can contact iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption.
But if nothing shows on your purchase history then you should also consider contacting your card issuer.

Subsequent Debit/Credit for Freight Costs

Is it possible to configure additional indicators for subsequent debit/credit specifically to capture freight costs that would then flow those costs down to the material? What is the proper process for this activity?

Can't use iTunes credit for gifts?

I have over £60 credit from a gift card on my iTunes account, but if I gift an app to someone, I get charged for it, it doesn't use up my credit. Is this right or should I be doing something different? Things I have bought for myself have used my credit.
