Can't apply hotfix due to applet error

I'm trying to apply this hotfix http://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/kb/coldfusion-security-hotfix-apsb13-03.html but when I go to System Info > Update File, I get a JRE security related error. I've tried Chrome, Safari, FF on PC and Mac without avail. Is there any other way to apply the hotfix without having some stupid applet? UGH.  TIA

Balance wrote:... when I go to System Info > Update File, I get a JRE security related error.
I assume you are on ColdFusion 10. Then you mean surely: Server Update > Updates in the ColdFusion Administrator.
If you are indeed on 10, make sure you install the Mandatory Update first. That is crucial! You can do this manually by downloading the JAR file, and running the command: java -jar <jar-file-name>.
You could solve the Java security problem by relaxing Java's security level on your machine. I am on Windows, and can lower Java security settings in the Control Panel.

Did you encounter these problems after installing the Photoshop FXG plug-in?   Or is this a general Photoshop CS5 question?
(This forum is specifically for people using the Photoshop CS5 FXG feature with Flash Catalyst.)
If this is a general Photoshop CS5 question then I recommend you post this question to one of the more general Photoshop forums:
    http://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop
Your question will get much wider exposure there, and you are more likely to get an answer from the Photoshop community.

    Hey anjanetteroland,
    Welcome to the forums.
If you try a new media card in your device do you get the same error? Sounds like the media card is damaged.

iTunes: Home sharing can't be activated due to an error (5506). Who can help?
I have an Apple ID but for some reason iTunes does not recognizes it.
I have downloaded the latest version of iTunes as well?

Did you ever figure it out? I am new to itunes and it won't allow me to home share with my daughter because I don't have a credit card.

  • Can't sign in due to server error with icloud, windows 8 laptop

I cannot sign in to icloud on my windows 8 laptop due to server error.

With as many people that have this same issue, I am very surprised that support is still sleeping at the wheel.  Some of the suggestions border on the absolute absurd (e.g. create new user account, check the system clock, etc.).  I've tried them all, including exclusion from AVAST, resetting router, etc etc etc.  iCloud status shows all green.
As the owner of a software development company, I find it hard to believe Apple, of all support, has been unable to get this issue resolved once and for all.  It would certainly make sense, as well, to collate this issue into a single thread instead of bouncing users off the moon and back.
I spent 1/2 day on the phone with Apple support trying to get iTunes to backup and was promised a call back from the next tier of support.  That was 4 months ago and I still haven't been able to backup my iphone 4S.  I've never seen software that is more kludgy and unreliable with every passing upgrade (sorry, but it's the truth)!
After two years of not being able to back up my phone, I am considering going to a more reliable platform.  After 6 years on the Apple bus, maybe it's time to get off.

  • Media card wont read on phone or PC. "Media card can not be accessed due to fatal errors"

I've had my blackberry curve 8520 for over a year and never had any problems with the media card until now. I'm unable to look at any pictures, videos or music on my phone as i can not install the media card on my phone. I'm unable to repair it and format it also. The media card will also not be read when I plug it into my laptop with the USB.
I definitely know its the media card and not my phone itself as I've tried my brothers media card in my phone and it worked perfectly. When i put my media card in his phone, it did the same thing and came up with the same error.
Does anyone know how i'll be able to make the media card read in my phone or my pc so I can backup the data as I don't really want to lose it all?
    Any help appreciated,
    Thanks!

From what you describe, the data that was on the media card is already gone. If the PC cannot read it and the BB cannot read it, then it has for some reason been fried. I'm sorry for your loss.
You can try PC-based recovery utilities, but typically with flash memory (as opposed to magnetic memory of hard drives), once the data is gone, it's gone for good. But, you never know...give some of those a try and see what happens. Before you ask, no...I've no guidance for one versus another.
    Good luck!

  • Can't install ML due to verification error

I am not able to install Mountain Lion 10.8.1 on my MacBook Pro 3,1 running SL 10.6.8. I get the following error:
Strangely, the downloaded file clocks in at around 70MB, not the >4GB listed in the App Store description.
I can successfully download and install other applications on the same computer using the same App Store account.

Believe the message. Contact http://www.apple.com/support/mac/app-store/contact.html?form=account, they're responsible for making this abysmal delivery system work.

  • Can't Apply Hotfix?

I'm trying to apply the cumulative hotfix 3 (chf7020003.jar)
to my instance of Coldfusion MX 7. I've uploaded it through the
admin screen, submitted, and then restarted all of the ColdFusion
services, but the update level in coldfusion's administrator page
still shows the update level as hf702-64586.jar (which I believe is
the XSS fix from a while bac). Shouldn't the update level read
chf7020003.jar since that hotfix is newer and includes the XSS fix?
    Am I doing something wrong?

The updater process cannot remove old jar files since they're
locked by ColdFusion. Generally, when an update comes around I stop
ColdFusion and delete the jar files that have been replaced by the
hotfix and then copy the hot fix to:
    <coldfusion_home>\WEB-INF\cfusion\lib\updates
Then startup CF and move on with the day.
coldfusion_home is different depending on your install of
    CF.

Downloaded pc iCloud control panel. Can't log in. Get error message can't sign in because of a server error. Help

    Hi,
Are you running any Anti-virus software or do you have your firewall turned on? If so, disable them and try again. If that doesn't work, delete the iCloud account and then sign it back on again.
Make sure you are running the most current version of the iCloud Control Panel:

  • [Locked: repeating post bug] Can't save jpg due to program error

Saw some answers in a post I now can't locate...
I can save a psd to tiff, but can save nothing to jpg, which gives the message above. It's very annoying. I run Cocktail and Diskwarrior fairly regularly, which usually sorts things like this out, but not this time. I even did a clean install, but the problem isn't fixed. A work-round is to open the tiff in Preview and resave as a jpg, but that's not ideal.
Does anyone know the precise reason for this glitch (I'm fairly sure it's Mac system and not PS)?

document must be  RGB 8bit and you will be able to see option . Jpg  option will show up .
    File->save as
    choose :
jpg-> window will open when clik save and then you will see 3 options to choose. baseline , optimize, progressive.
on my settings optimize is default and instead optimize i choose baseline .
It does work for me. try that.
