Can't attach GIF images on E90

Hi
Why can't I attach GIF images on E90 ??
GIF images are not included with other images extensions !!!
Would anybody from technical support help me solve this problem, please.

I mean I can't attach GIF to MMS, but I can save GIF images on my mobile and it works perfectly.
If you try to attach GIF image to MMS using PC Suit you will notice that GIF is not included among other extensions !!

I think your only solution is to zip the image files first and then attach them.
Read this from a site I found:
Sending Graphical Attachments -- When you attach a graphical image to your message, the recipient of your message sees the image inline (that is, in the body of the message) if her email client supports inline display. ("Take Control of Email with Apple Mail" contains a table listing the capabilities of popular Mac and PC email clients.) If a client does not support inline display (or the recipient has turned off the inline display option), the file appears as an attachment that must be opened in a separate program.
On the one hand, an inline image is easier for the recipient to see - all she has to do is look at it. On the other hand, inline images can be frustrating to scroll through. If you do not wish to send a graphical image inline, you must compress the file before attaching it - Mail, sadly, lacks a built-in compression option, though fortunately for Panther users, the Finder offers Zip compression without requiring a separate application.
Note that when you compose a new message, Mail always shows attachments in the body of your message. You can manually drag them somewhere else, but many email clients display all attachments in a separate list, regardless of where you place them in the message body.
If you paste an image into a message or drag & drop an image from another window (say, a Web browser), Mail converts the raw image data to an attachment in TIFF format. On the other hand, if you drag & drop the icon of an image file (or use the Attach button to locate the file using the file browser), Mail leaves the attached image in its original format. This difference is significant, because although most email clients can display JPEG images just fine, support for TIFF - especially in non-Mac email clients - is less common. If possible, I suggest attaching image files as opposed to pasting or dragging in raw image data.

Can't view gif images.

I had to reinstall Yosemite on my computer and since I did that I can't view gif images in Firefox and Safari. What do I need to do to be able to view gif images?

Am working on a webpage with some animated gifs in it. Everything works fine when it is loaded up, the images display and animate continuously. But these gifs may be updated on the server. I have some javascript that checks if the gifs have been updated by checking the modified meta data. If it has that image is reloaded. this works fine and the new image is brought up but that animation is never started. it just sits there on the first frame.
works as planned in chrome. it also worked as planned in FF9 but does not in FF12

Can't attach an image an email after updating to OS4

I have an iPhone 3G. I recently updated to OS4. Everything works great except that I can't attach a image/picture to an email. When I try to do so, it places a blue box (with a question mark) in my email. However, if i take a picture (or use a picture from my camera roll) it will attach the picture just fine. This problem also is the same for MMS messages. Anyone else having this problem? I would love to know how to fix it. Thanks.
(I have tried to send the email/mms with the blue box, thinking that maybe it will send ok, but it just simply sends a blank email.

Just testing to see if I can insert an image initially in a post with the Advanced Editor...
Seems to be possible.
Now an attempt to attach an image while editing, with IE9...
Hm, that succeeded, at least while editing. Now an attempt to attach the same image that was giving me trouble before...
That succeeded interactively as well. Now to hit [ Update ] to see if they actually show up...

Sure you csn. Don't be afraid to try this kind of stuff for yourself. If things don't work out, just Command-Z your way back to the previous state. In this case it should work just great. Once your multiple selection appears in Pages, click off the selected new objects to de-select them, then select them one at a time for positioning.

Bug: Can't attach an image to a post during edit

Edited a post I had just made:
Opened a couple of blank lines.
Hit the camera icon
Hit the [Browse...] button
Selected the file and had its path appear in the Insert Image dialog field.
Hit the [Insert Image] button.
Got this failure:
I couldn't attach the image to this post either, even though it's an under-200K JPEG saved from Photoshop CS6 at quality 10. Here's a link that will take you to a copy of the file:

How can i Save Gif image

I download the JDK 1.4.0-beta and the imageio Package.
I try to save a BufferedImage in the JPEG format, it's OK but when i use the gif format an empty file is created. What package do i need to save bufferedImage in gif Format ? ? ?

.gif Images saved as static images, not animated

Using the most recent version of Firefox mobile on Android 4.1.2 on a Samsung Galaxy S3. I can download animated .gif images via Firefox to my phone and the saved file will display as a static image. If I download an animated .gif image with the proprietary browser the saved image will display as an animated image.

If the image you want to embed in your signature is stored locally (ie, on your machine), it might not show up in the recipient's email, because basically, it only exists physically on your computer. The only way to achieve what you want to do is to actually create a template email where the signature is part of the stationery. You can create it using Word, or Pages, or another similar text editor, then save it in your Mail.app stationery. There's a Thunderbird extension called, well, "Stationery", that does that very well, but I seldom use Mail.app, so I can't help you much here... You'll probably need to repost your question on the part of this forum that's dedicated to Mail, among other apps. Here.

Why can't Firefox 23 display GIF images crisply?

If I drag a 9x9 2-color GIF into Firefox 23.0 it displays blurry/stretched. If I view the same image file in Chrome or even IE it displays at a crisp, pixel-perfect 9x9. The blurriness in FF is new since I updated. What's wrong? Known bug?
Not that it is relevant here, but let me confirm that this test was with a raw image file, not scaled...and my screen zoom is at 100%.
( For an online example, here... http://joelncocker.com/ ...you can see my unscaled 9x9 logo GIF at the bottom right. )

If the screen height is too low (less than 900px) then the footer is covered by the background image, so I didn't spot this image initially. The same happens if I zoom the page.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

How can you add an image in Mail without being an attachment?
In otherwords I'd like to put my logo in the email not as an attachment but as an image.
Is there a simpel solution to this problem?

It's not possible. The e-mail protocol is designed for text; anything else has to go as an attachment.
Different mail clients (such as Mail.app, the mail client bundled with Mac OS X) may have different ways of handling such attachments, but they are still attachments.
