Can't automatically log out of guest account

I'm setting up a computer lab of Mac Minis. I want to set them up to automatically log out after 10 minutes of no activity. I have adjusted the necessary settings in the system preferences/security settings, but it still won't completely log out of the guest account. It will get stuck at the screen which reads "If you log out, your files will be deleted". It won't go further until you choose "Delete files and log out". This completely defeats the purpose of automatically logging out. I don't trust that the users of these computers will actually log themselves out every time.
How can I change this so that this pop up screen doesn't show up but the computer just logs out?

No I haven't found a solution to this. I'm not sure what the deal is, but this seems to be an oversight of the Snow Leopard developers as far as I can tell.

Go to System Preferences > Security and confirm "Log out after XX minutes of inactivity" is not selected.

Today I logged in to the guest account for the first time. When it is logged in to the guest I am unable to click anything to try to get out of guest account. The cursor moves but I cannot click or tap anything. I also started the computer in safe boot and it shows my user id and the guest icons but I am unable to click on anything. If you're tapping to click, physically click the trackpad button. Tap-to-click is off by default.

You can't.
Return the phone to whoever you bought it from and get a refund. Without the previous owners password you will not be able to enter your own iCloud acount, and when you update the phone, you won't be able to re-activate it as it will be locked to the previous owners account.
You should've checked the phone was not locked to someone else's iCloud account BEFORE buying it.

Not easily, no. The better solution would be to put a passcode on the phone.

However, when I boot up, it asks me to choose my language. I choose English and click the forward arrow, the screen goes gray and it takes me back to the language screen. And now I can't get back to the login screen. So, I'm not able to set up another account.
If I can get back to the login screen, I'll try logging in as root.
Any advice on getting this back?

Logging into a guest account causes a blank screen

When i log into a guest account (either from the fast user switch menu, or from the lock screen), it rotates the screen round, but then hangs on a light grey screen.
At first I assumed it might just take a while longer for the forst time under Lion, but it stayed lke that for 15min. Eventually I force-shut down my laptop and tried again. Same thing happened again.
Is this a known issue? Any fixes?

on my iMac Lion always had a kernel panic when I used fast user switching. But now I found the reason for it: I had the BOOTCAMP-Partition unmounted on every startup automatically. When I mounted the BOOTCAMP-Partition, everything worked fine. No I keep it mounted all the time. (The reason for unmounting it was that I could use the BOOTCAMP-Partition as startup-volume for virtualbox.)
Maybe this can help someone.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

I contacted tech support for the web hosting service and they said it was a problem with the browser - cookies/settings/etc - I couldn't find any solution. Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Automatically log out idle and disconnected users

Windows Server 2008 R2 Domain.
Im trying to have users that are connected with RDP to other servers and clients to automatically log out if there are idle og disconnected for more than 30 minutes. Im able to get it working if i use computer configuration, but I want this to work under
user configuration, so im not sure what I am doing wrong.
I have configured the following. Created a single GPO on the root of the domain, and put a desktop 7 client in this container. Then i have configured a GPO with the following settings: User Configuration>Policies>Administrative Templates>Windows
Components>Remote Desktop Services>Session Time Limits: Here I have enabled "Set time limit for disconncted sessions", "Set time limit for active but idle...." and "End session when time...."
If i check the GPO, under security filtering i have Authenticated Users, and they have read and apply, and it is linked to the correct OU.
If I now log in to my client and do a gpupdate /force log out and in again, I can see the GPO is not applied correct. The strange thing is that is named under Computer Settings> The following GPOs were not applied because they are filtered out.. here
is my GPO and reason is "Not applied (Empty). Under User settings there is no such GPO applied...
I thought that it should have been under user settings .... if i configure the GPO as a computer settings it works.... but should not this also work for users ?

It will come means, you will find the settings at the mentioned path. That's for terminal session can be applied on servers not necessarily only for Terminal servers.
Best practice is to add security group in the security filter. But yes if you have less number of users, you can add them directly.

On a certain website, I like to work in tabs. I mainly am on the forums, and will have multiple threads up on tabs. However lately, every time I open a tab I get logged out.
If I stay and work in ONE tab I am fine, but if I open a second tab I am automatically logged out.
I have cleared cache, cookies, and all browsing history.
I have gone in and deleted/renamed the cookies.sqlite file, restarted Firefox, and that still doesn't help.
I upgraded to the newest version of Firefox, and still doesn't work right.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
