Can't burn playlist, error 2321

When I try to burn a playlist I get error message 2321. Itunes support page suggested downloading new firmware for the drive which I have already done and I still can not burn anything from itunes to CD. Any suggestions??

  • Can't Burn Playlists to Disc ... Error 43 ... iTunes was Not Properly Installed ... Diagnostics Included

Hi. Immediately after installing iTunes a dialogue window appears stating that "itunes was not properly isntalled. if yuou wish to import or burn cds you need to reinstall itunes." This happens even after I complete the installation w/ antivirus disabled.  Indeed, I am unable to burn playlists to cds.  Upon attempting to do so, iTunes produces the ambiguous error message:  "Disc Recording not found ..."
My instinct tells me this is a problem w/ the GEAR driver software. I've uninstalled the driver manually, and then reinstalled it as per: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2308 (Solution 3). Still, the problem persists.
    Any ideas?????

Failed loading CD / DVD drives, error -43. Try doing a repair install on iTunes from the “Add or Remove Programs” control panel.

If it's any help I have found I can't burn discs any longer in this precise version of iTunes. I have gone back to the previous version where everything is fine in this respect. My symptoms were not quite the same as yours but the result was the same - I couldn't burn discs. Yours is the first post on this I've found so I suspect Apple may not be aware of the issue or it is affecting relatively few users. If I find a solution I will post again and meanwhile hope that the next update solves the problem.

  • Can't burn playlist and can't interpret error code

Suddenly, I can't burn MP3s on to a disk. My diagnostics check says "The last MP3 CD Burn has error code -128(0xfffff80). I can't find a place to interpret what this code is.

Well, trying CD-Rs will not really solve the error because as I discovered, the RWs that Boot Camp told me failed to burn actually burned just fine! I discovered before trying to reerase them and try burning them with a different application that the contents were all proper and in tact. It is Boot Camp's error. I am going to mark this as solved and leave feedback for the Boot Camp team about the error. Thanks for your input.

  • Can not burn playlists

Until recently all was well with Itunes and the way it functioned. I believe it was after a software upgrade I lost the abilty to burn playlists. The error message is something like can not find cd driver software. It shows the DVD Burner but instead of it being the D: drive it shows it as F:
I do not belleve that I changed anything else on my computer.
I have removed and reloaded Itunes, tried the repair Itunes function but the problem remains the same. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

  • Can't burn CD: error 2122

Compelled to post anew since I haven't found any answers in any of the old threads addressing this problem.
I have upgraded the firmware on my AOpen DUW1608/ARR DVD-burner, tried different CD-R brands, and still get 'unknown error 2122' when i tried to burn my purchased music. The same burner works fine with Nero and WMedia.
    Any answers anyone????
I have transmitted my CD-diagnostics to the Apple's "support" website - yeah, like that will help.
      Windows XP

Go to Aopen's website and download firmware from the dropdown list for your product: http://download.aopen.com.tw/
Here's a direct link to the exact file I used:
    http://download.aopen.com.tw/Download.aspx?RecNo=10311&Product=DVD ReWriter Drives&Model=DUW1608/ARR&Type=Firmware&DownSize=2224&fileURL=pub%2ffirmware%2fd vd%2brw%2fduw1608arr%2fduw1608arr_111.exe&Section=5&DL=yes
This is definitely an iTunes problem - like I said, Nero can still burn audio cd's in a blink on my same DVD/RW - but iTunes craps out with an error 2122. Needless to say, I'm going to find my music elsewhere and not going to waste any more money on iTunes or any other apple product.
Having said that, I did manage to create an audio CD in a roundabout way - Take the wave-out and capture the audio into a wav file (i did this using Audacity) - then I burned the CD from Nero. But it's too much trouble than is worth especially if you have a lot of tracks - and i'm not going to do it again. Goodbye to draining my dollars down the iTunes drain.

  • Can't burn playlist from I-Tunes store

I have previously downloaded my playlists from the I-tunes store onto a G4 I-Mac.I have now downloaded a playlist from I-Store onto a Dell Optiplex 745.When I try and burn the playlist it tells me that I am not authorized on THIS computer to burn 14 0f the 16 songs. It tells me I need to authorize the computer to do so.What gives here? Have I just wasted 16 bucks because I can't burn a gym warmup disc for our school?
    Cheers

Play one of the songs in iTunes first.

  • Can not burn playlists from Itunes on PC burners... error message saying it does not see cd hardware, etc.

New itunes version no help.  It appears perhaps that a hardware conflict is in place with AnyDVD.  Anyway around this without removing AnyDVD?

Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
    ... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:
... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.

  • Upgraded to v7 can't burn playlists longer than 50ish MBs to 80MB disc - Y?

Upgraded from v6 to v7.0.2 iTunes today. Tried to burn a playlist consisting of 18songs 1hour 80.1MB to a blank CD but couldn't? When previously I did (earlier today) when I still had iTunes v6? Managed to successfully burn a playlist (in v7) of 11 songs 44.4mins 52.3MB to a CD that can take a lot more songs? What else is taking up the space on the CD during the burn process (if that is even the problem)? As far as I can tell all my settings from v6 (speed and format) are exactly the same in v7
    HP Pavilion 8903   Windows XP

Sorry, didn't word my original question very well. In v7 I don't understand why I can only fit 11 songs from my 18 song christmas playlist onto a 700mb/80min CD. Where as in v6 I could fit the entire christmas playlist (all 18 songs) onto the same size cd (700mb/80min). Yep, am burning as audio CD in v7, and was burining as audio cd in v6 too.

  • Can't burn - Help - Error Sense Code (52100)

I have Adobe Encore DVD 1.5 which was purchased in a package called the Adobe Video Collection Professional. I want to start off by saying that I am new to the forum situation and also do not understand very much computer jargon. My operating system is Windows XP and I have a custom computer with 2 GB of RAM. I had a new DVD burner put in my computer after it was determined that the old burner was not compatible with my custom computer. The new burner is a Samsung Super-Writemaster 18x lightscribe DVD Writer and works with everything else in my computer except Adobe. I contacted Adobe about this problem and they said that there was a bug in the Adobe software package that I have, but our package is no longer under warranty. Is there something that we can acquire or do short of buying more software from Adobe to fix this problem. I have been able to burn some DVDs here and there, but normally I get coasters and it comes up with this error message - Device Error-Sense Code (5 21 00)-Logical Block Address/Out of Range-Read (DVD Error 336128). Please help.

Sense code errors are almost always caused by some piece of software interfering in the communication problem between Encore and the burner.
    Please have a look at
b Things and Software to avoid when authoring for DVD-V
    http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.3bbe7ec0
A quick fix is to let Encore write a
    i disc image file
    and then use
    b ImgBurn
http://www.imgburn.com/ to burn the DVD from that.

  • Can't burn issues error code 4250-4280

After several failed attempts at solving my burning issues with Apple support (who had no idea what to do) I have found something out. The new "Protected AAC" formatted songs will cause a "failed burn" error message. I own 2 different computers and have tried 2 different types of CD-Rs. I have found that Windows Media Player will burn just fine, and that in iTunes I can burn all my old music (under "kind" look for "AAC audio file") just fine also. So I seem to have norrowed it down to Apple's new protected formats called "Protected AAC audio file"
So far this is all I've got. Anyone else have any ideas?

  • Can't Burn Playlist - Blank Disc Ejects

I have been trying to burn a playlist to CDs. The first disc burned without a problem. However, when ITunes called for insertion of a second blank disc, it started to initialize then ejected the disc. I have not been able to get anything more burned, except me. The ITunes support pages have been useless and I have spent 6+ hours trying to figure out this problem. Is there any way to speak with a person or have an e-mail conversation with someone who can provide technical support for this problem. The "support" pages don't provide any access to anyone that could probably help me. Thanks.
P.S. The discs are recognized by and writeable from other programs.

EUREKA for CD not burning on iTunes! For me after spending hours trying to solve this issue, I went to
Edit (on iTunes), Preferences, Advanced, Burning and changed to "Audio" CD. I felt pretty stupid. Somehow the setting got changed. Hope it might work for your.

can't burn playlist to CD, unknown error occured (-3). Any suggestions?

How is this related to iPad?
The iPad cannot use cd drives in any way.  Assuming you are doing this from iTunes on your computer, perhaps the best place to post this would be in the iTunes forum:

Or even the forum for the OS you are using.

I have the same problem as charlottemarriot (can't burn playlists, 30 April). My old version of iTunes worked beautifully but I have just installed iTunes 6 and it says 'no items checked in playlist' even though all the items clearly are checked. Even when I restart the computer / create new playlists / try playlists that previously worked nothing happens. I need the discs to teach my pupils this today and tomorrow! help!
