Can't burn to CD - getting unknown error at 4130 - help
Just started using itunes and bought first track today.
Went to burn to disc from playlist and saw that burn was cancelled followed by message telling me that there was an unknown error at 4130. Any ideas?

There was a firmware update for the drive which I've installed and I also reinstalled itunes as you suggest.
Still getting the same message though. Any other suggestions?

HT4623 Can't update iPhone and get restore error -1. Help?
I tried to do the latest update on a 3GS iPhone I gave my daughter (minus the phone usage) and it started the restore then got stuck with error message -1. I tried everything it said to do under the error to correct it and it still won't restore. This happened with the last update that I tried to do on another iPhone we gave our daughter to use and I just ended up upgrading my phone to replace the iPhone that couldn't be restored to anything. I can't do that again and shouldn't have too. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you for any suggestions!

The 2131 is usually a firmware issue, but we'd better doublecheck.
Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:

It doesn't matter if I try to back up all music or only music purchased from itunes. So far I have not been able to back up anything. Can someone please help me!!!! Actually, in that case I definitely think you should check your firmware. I just had a look at the 32-bit Vista downloads page at Dell for your Inspiron 1721, and there's firmware updates listed there for four different drive models, all dated within the last four months.
Head to the following Dell page and enter your model information to get to your Downloads page:

Hi, i had the same problem. Try to find the file "apple" or "itunes" don't know it anymore exactly. Ahm well you need to delet any information or just plug in your iphone into an other computer. important is that your iphone never has been pluged in this computer before. This was what i did, and it worked!

Sometimes - and I stress sometimes - this can help. Sign out, restart your iPad and sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap your ID and sign out. Restart.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and sign into your account. Then try to update your apps. -

When attempting to burn an audio cd from my playlist, I get an error message that says, burn failed due to unknown error (4280). It has been working fine for months...any solutions?
I have the exact same problem.
Been searching through this site to try and find an answer but still not come up with anything.
The wierd thing is that a couple of days ago it was working fine, and suddenly overnight it's stopped working.
The only solution i've found is that you need to have administrator rights as it says in the posts on the site below:

Noticed by the diagnostic in your post that you dont have admin rights like me so that mite be the problem. Not sure if this is the right solution though.

I keep getting unknown error occured(4450) when trying to burn a CD, running Windows Vista...any help would be apprciated.
I had this issue to when trying to burn discs recently. I went into the CD creation settings in iTunes and I "unchecked" the option to "Include CD Text" and after I did that, the disc I had been trying to burn several times with error, actually burned without fail. Give that a try and see what happens.
