Can't buy app because demo is installed

I’ve got the app Chronories installed, decided to buy it, and got an email from the developers offering 50% off at the App Store through Jan 16. So I upgraded my software to get the App Store app, gave the App Store my Apple ID, made sure my credit card on file was up to date, and then found Chronories. But next to the icon, where on other apps it says “Buy”, Chronories just sats “Installed”. There’s no way to choose to buy it. I tried buying one cheap game, Angry Birds, after the problem showed itself, to see if I was able to buy other things and that worked fine.

Just move the app to the trash (without emptying for now), restart the Mac App Store, and buy the app. Most apps in Mac OS X keep preferences files in a separate location (User/Library/Preferences).

You would think they would set as default that Password was required - Imediatly . But they know there likely to get more purchases the way the default set it..

but to upgrade you will need to purchase an iLife DVD from ebay or Amazon or other source - older versions of iPhoto are not available from the App Store - either iLife '09 or '11 will work on 10.6.8
beware that sometimes books (albums are logical organzational elements in iPhoto) sometimes will change with upgrades so you may need to make some changes after upgrading - be sure to carefully preview prior to ordering the book

I can't download apps because after I write my password a stupid blu window requests me "to protect my Apple ID" choosing 3 "security questions and answer" .
I don' t care about upgrading my security ! I only need to download apps.
Furthermore, there are no e-mail addresses where to complaint.

So, you don't care if some hacker managed to get into your iTunes account and buy loads of apps using your credit card or gift card balance? You wouldn't mind?
And what if you use the same AppleID for iCloud? You wouldn't care if a hacker got in, deleted all your contacts and calendars, deleted your email, sent emails to all your contacts, wiped your iPhone, changed your password and locked you out of your own account? That wouldn't bother you either?
Now, maybe you don't use all these features, but a lot of people do, so the accounts need to be secure.

I have a 4S and upgraded to iOS 6 last week without any issues.
Have you tried resetting your phone (hold the power and home buttons down together until the silver apple appears)?

Depending on what type of CD/DVD you intend to burn, you may not need any 3rd party applications:
- To burn data CDs or DVDs simply insert a blank disc, drag files to the empty FInder window that represents the disc, then click the burn button (I think t appears near the top of the finder window).
- To burn music CDs just use iTunes
- To create disk images from a CD or DVD use Disk Utility. To burn .iso or .cdr images to disc use Disk Utility.
About the only type of disc burning that you may need a 3rd party application for is to create a DVD movie (iDVD used to do this but no longer a supported app). I haven't ever needed anything outside of the built-in capabilities of OS X when it comes to burnig CD or DVD media. One suggestion is to make sure to remove all of the Roxio software so that it doesn't interfere with the built-in OS X capabilities.
