Can´t Buy Books

Hey everyone,
I live in Argentina, and I created an account for my new Ipad, down here.
I´m trying to buy books from the Store (guess that it´s located in the US) but the system is not allowing me to do so.
Any ideas why?
Any ideas on how to go around this problem?

Apple has not been able to negotiate the rights to sell electronic books in all countries, and if all you see are the free books, that apparently applies to Argentina. There will be no workaround to this problem other than to look for other outlets for electronic books in Argentina, if any. You cannot purchase from another country's iBooks Store (nor any other part of the iTunes Store; the content owners prohibit cross-border sales).

Are you using iPhoto 9.6?
Check, if you are connected to the correct Apple Print Products Store:
iPhoto Preferences > Advanced > Print Products Store
The country in this setting needs to be the same as the country of your billing address and delivery address, also your AppleID and Credit Card.
If your country settings are correct, check the setting for your AppleID and enable "Express Checkout" for your Apple ID directly at the Apple Store. You can do this right from the top of this web page.
Look at the black title bar at the top of this page. There is a Store menu to the left. Click it to open the page of the Apple Store. On the next page click the head icon to the left of the shopping cart to open the settings for your account. There you can enable the Express Checkout settings at the link "Update Express Checkout Settings".
Edit and reenter all your billing address and delivery address details on this page.

Can not buy book

Hi, I can't buy a book because my card won't work. I tried 3 different cards now, and all of them allowed to buy over internet. What is wrong? It can't be my card, because I have used it to buy over internet before.

What specifically is the error?
Have you tried re-entering (not just verifying) your billing info at the Apple store - That usually is the solution

What payment methods can I use?
Customers in Denmark and Norway may use only MasterCard or Visa.

Can't "buy" book...please help!!

I've just spent numerous hours creating a rather large book (52 pages). When I click the "buy book" a pop up occurs stating that I have one or more missing images on one or more pages. I've run the preview and can find NO missing images on any page. This is the third book I've made this week and I had no trouble with the other two. Is the book too big?

How can I buys book from iTunes if it is not available in my area; however available in the US iTunes store?

I used to buy from itunes through my apple account till an apple onle store was opened recently in my country. This should have been a good news; however, the rality is that - it is not! Books that I'm willing to buy is not available in my country; however, available in the US store. Is there anyway that I can buy books and download them if not available in my apple's country online store?

The problem with that is your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.
"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

HT4059 can you buy books using your us apple id in another country's store?

I cannot find several of the books I'd like to read in the US iTunes iBook store. It keep saying they are not located in the US store. So, I tried switching to the UK store but my US apple ID will not work there. Is there a way to purchase books from another county's store? I don't understand why these books would not be available in the US, generic books like "Motorcycle Maintenance", ...etc, are relevant in every country as long as they are written in english, which they are.

You can only buy from your own country's store - to be able to buy from another country's store you need a valid billing address in that country and be in that country when buying from it. after i hit the buy book button the program takes me to a screen where i need to enter the zip code. the buy book button is not longer highlighted and i have iphoto 11.

Go to your account at the Apple Store and re-enter all of your account information, including zip code. Make sure 1-Touch Shopping is enabled. Then try again,.

I can not buy books using iPhoto11

Hope someone can help... I spent sometime agonising over photos to be included in an iPhoto book... I completed the layout and pressed Buy... the respose was a graphic sliding up telling me my order total was £0.00... with no way to imput the quantity or anything else.
I didn't get any error message informing me of any mistakes I might have made. I then tryed a simple calender and let iPhoto populate it as a test... pressed Buy... and got an identical respose...
Any ideas!

Can't buy book to be made and shipped in America from the UK

iphoto (iphoto '08 - 7.1) will not give me the option to pay for a book to be made and shipped in the US, from my UK mac account.
I've just spent 5 days getting this book together and now I'm going to have to re-create the whole thing and get it shipped via Target unless someone knows how i can do this.

it's not mentioned in any of the 'oh look how great and easy it is to make and send a book from iphoto' or the 'look you can have multiple addresses so it's even easier to send books to your friends and family'
I have shifted through over 75000 photos, created new images in indesign and used photoshop in all my spare time to use a service that I thought would make a change from using Kodak/Target which is how I've done this in the past. Now I really wish I hadn't bothered.
it's now 2.25am I'm shattered and all my work tomorrow evening will be me trying to get a present made in time for christmas and my money will be going to someone else.

No, to be able to buy from the US store you will need a valid billing address in the US and be in the US when buying from it. Any apps that you buy should pick up the language that you have set on your iPad (unless the app states otherwise) - try downloading a free app and it should show on your iPad in English if that's the language that you've selected. Films and ibooks are different, they will only be in the language specified on their description's page in the store.

I just purchased a new ipad in Germany and would like to purchase English language books from the iTunes store when I click on books. For some reason it defaults to German language books. I would prefer English. Any ideas? Any suggestions? Thanks!

No, you can only buy from your country's store - to be able to buy from the Chilean store you need to be in Chile with a Chilean billing address on your account.
