Can't change ID in Apps store to update.

Got update notices for 2 apps I bought in early April, when I first got iPhone. When I click the apps store the login displays an alternate email, not my Apple ID. I paid for these apps (iBooks &1Password). ID is correct in settings, store & iTunes, but displays my alternate email address (not Apple) when I click the update button. I can't figure out how to change it or how to update these Apps. I have bought other Apps since just fine. Any insights would be appreciated.

It sounds like the apps were purchased with this "alternate email address" account.
If this is the case, then it will have to be updated using this account.

Can't change countries in App Store

I changed my Apple ID from United States to Canada and now I have purchases in both countries. However I can't find a way to switch between the different countries' stores. The FAQ and some forum posts I've seen refer to a flag that is supposed to be in the lower right of the App Store that you can click on to change the country of the store, but it doesn't seem to be there.

Now I struggled for two days stuck in the Japanese store and couldn't returns to my own country "Canada" until just now there is no red flag or LIL flag to click on not in Japan anyway before I go on and on like I do when I feel like being a smart ***.... LOL!!!
PLAIN AND SIMLY SIGN OUT... Sign back in!!! This will allow things to reset!!! The right screens will pop up and tell you what to do!!!
TRUST ME I TRY'D EVERYTHING SINCE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING WORKED MY NEXT STEP WAS TO EITHER THROW THE PHONE .... AND SMASH IT .... DuM DuM DuM !!!! Or reset it to the factory SETIngs

Can't change country in app store due to Family Sharing error

I want to change App store country on my iPhone 5S, iPad Air and iPhone 5 as I have relocated to a Sri Lanka from India. But it is showing error that I cannot change country because my Family sharing is on. I have turned off Family sharing in all of my devices and the main device, but still it continue to show error that Family sharing is on and I cannot change the app store country. I am geographically in the same country, which I want to update in my app store !
Please help.

With the apps i already have installed I can get the updates for the free ones but i cant update the ones I paid for. And now I can't even dload any new apps at all, neither free or purchase... ***.. Tried calling apple support but it just keeps ringing.. I can't wait on the phone all day!!

Can not change country in App Store

I switched to the other country in the app store before,
but I can't switch back to my country now.

Easiest way, MUST use USB wire to connect to computer's iTune.
(1) Connect your iphone/ipad to computer
(2) Make sure you sign in to iTune and first authorize the computer you are using [ie. Authorize This Computer].
(3) Click Store > View My AppID > Change Country or Origin
(4) Select the country you want, follow through all the instructions
This way should allow you successfully change the country default on your iphone/ipad account.
I don't know why it only works this way, but if connecting to computer's iTune will help you reduece frustrations, take some time to do it, it will save you hassles.

In that case your choices are to either create an email alias within the existing account, which delivers email to your existing iCloud inbox (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm6b1a490a), or create a new iCoud account. Note: alias addresses are permanently tied to the account that you create them in; they cannot be used to create a new iCloud account or be moved to a different account in the future.

How can I change the Safari, App Store, iTunes, etc icons?

I can change the icons on my folders and stuff, and I used LiteIcon to change the Finder, Dashboard and Trash icons but I can't change Safari icon in LiteIcon and I can't use the Get Info method either! Any help? Thank you

For safari (for example), if its on your dock control click it and go to options > show in finder
Control click safari there and from the drop down menu click "Get Info"
     Alternatives to this would be to hit command-i or the get info button underneath the icon
With the window that pops up:
     Click the lock at the bottom to unlock it
     Go to the Sharing & Permission section
     Set all the users listed to "read and write"
Now to copy the icon that you want to copy, go to the top of the get info window and click the safari icon
to copy it push command-c
to replace it push command-v after you have coppied another icon
to get it back to its normal icon select the icon and push command-x
You might have to quit and relaunch the app for it to work.

Any update will cause problems for a few users. And those users will rush here and post "the sky is falling" stories about their experience. The 99.99% of people who have no problems after an update won't bother to post here; indeed, most of them don't even know ASC exists. FWIW, I had no problems with iOS 7 on my 4S. Your problem is most likely not related to iOS 6, but you should probably update anyway. It obviously depends on what Mac you have.
Start by checking if you can run Snow Leopard:

Are you listing the billing address for the card correctly? The address in the iTunes/MAS account must match the address on your bill exactly.

Click here and ask the iTunes Store staff to zero your account balance. Note that if you're not in China, you won't be able to use the Chinese App Store.

Setting>Store>Apple ID. Tap you old ID and sign out. Sign in with the new one.

Contact iTunes Support in the country's store where you have the credit and request that your account be zero balanced. Then you should be able to change the country of your account.
