Can't change journals in Insanejournal without loosing content.

In older versions of Firefox (3.6.2), when I was on InsaneJournal I was able to type into the reply or post box, then using my LJlongin extension, change journals, refresh the page and everything I typed would remain. Now, since updating to Firefox 6 (and all others between 3.6.2 and 6) when I try to do this, everything I type disappears.
It is not a problem with the extension, but with something that has changed within the new version of Firefox, because it works with older versions.

You're seeing the animation between 300% and 100% in one field. Change the first keyframe to a Hold keyframe to create an instantaneous shift from one value to the other.
Alternately, don't use keyframes at all and split the layer into two layers with discreet scale values.

    Check out the article below for further information on changing the email address for your Apple ID. Note that if it is an email address ending in @icloud.com you cannot change it.

    You couldn't change your primary email address (only aliases are possible, which wouldn't affect your stored emails). If you would like to have a new primary @icloud.com address, then you would have to create a new account.

    Hopefully you had it backed up on icloud on or your computer. Try doing a restore by putting your phone in recovery mode then restoring your back up.

  • How to change my account email without loosing access to my purchases

    I have several emails and I'm trying to unify my email to one, that being my apple email.
    Years ago when iTunes was fairly new and I was using my "ipod with video" I downloaded some content and, sometime later I changed my account email and I lost access to that content. It wasn't much at the time  a few movies and some music, but it taught me to not change my account email.
    Now I'd like to change my email again from yahoo to apple. But at this point I have years of content that I have purchased and I don't want to loose access to it.
    I do realize I can relog in with the other email and password and get access to the content but There are limits to that and I will have to log in under different accounts to update apps and such. As far as I know.  Is there a way to change my email without loosing access to my purchased content. I would think by now there would be, but I'd rather not mess around, and find out the hard way if there isn't. Thanks Greg.

    Go to Settings/iTunes and App Store/Apple ID on your phone and log out, then log in with your correct account info. You can only use the App Store for the country your Apple ID is linked to.

    How can I connect my iPhone to my computer (virtually new) without loosing the data I have on my iPhone?

    Thanks,

    Some of the information below has subsequently appeared in a document by turingtest2: Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
    Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.
    iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only purchases from iTunes Store
    For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software. Examples (check the web for others; this is not an exhaustive listing, nor do I have any idea if they are any good):
    - Expod (free) - http://www.headlightsoft.com/expod/ - Mac, universal for 104.+ (newer machines try de-Tune)

    Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141 - dates from 2008 and some outdated information now.
    Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide - http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/articles/comments/copying-music-from-ipod-to-co mputer/ - Information about use in disk mode pertains only to older model iPods.

    Saw this solution on another post about an iPad in a school enviroment. Might work on your iPad so you won't lose everything.

    ‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
    Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
    I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
    Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
    If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.
     Cheers, Tom
  • How can I change a restrictions passcode without losing all the restricted settings?
    We have two iPads for two boys... both are heavily restricted.  One of my boys saw the passcode and I changed it by disabling and then re-enabling restrictions, only to be shocked when ALL MY SETTINGS were reverted to default and DIDNT come back after enabling restrictions again.  How can I change the passcode on the other iPad without losing all the settings, especially the long list of blocked websites?
    Thanks in advance.
    What good would the passcode be if you could bypass it like that?
