Can't change Movie Properties

I just bought and downloaded 5 Pixar short subject movies.
I have a 3 year old grandson that I've set up a Mac for.
I've put his favorite movies and trailers on the desktop with large icons and slow double click. I set each movie to open in full screen and close when finished because he can't click on the red close button.
The Pixar movies downloaded into iTunes, so it would be difficult for him to find them to play.
I opened the mp4 in Quicktime and saved as self-contained movie, thinking this would do it. I put the movie on the desktop and opened it to get movie properties. I could not change them, so I can't set to go full screen or to close the movie when done. ???
Is there no way to do this? "Protected" is one thing... but not being able to change the properties seems ridiculous.

Better to use "reference" instead of "self contained" to save on HD space.
Then unplug the mouse and teach the 3 year old the keyboard.
The "Tab" key will highlight a file and a new tap on it will move the focus to a new item.
Command key and the letter o key will launch QuickTime Player.
Command key and the letter f will send the file to Full Screen (requires Pro).
The Spacebar will start and stop playback. Up/down arrow keys will adjust volume.
Command key and the letter w key will close the window. Escape key will send it out of full screen but leave the window open.
Command key and the Tab key will allow switching between the Finder and QuickTime (focus changes each time the Tab key is clicked) and releasing the Command key will make that app the "front".

When you save the session in Audition, if you use 'Save As' then you'll get options to set the save defaults to whatever you want.

Why I need this requirment?
Account determination in TDP ( IS-OIL ) functionality is based on movement type .
In my case , because of additive addition to the main material , only some times the G/L account determination should change and this can be controled by checking additive flag during PGI and if flag available , then If I can change movement type only to these cases , I can go do new account determination. Other wise I do not want to distrub the present configuration.
If this is not feasible , then I have to think some other way to get it done .

Can I change gridline properties (in the regular tabular display)?

I would like to change the thickness of some of the gridlines in the regular tabular display in Discoverer (not in the graphing component).
I have exausted regular sources of info (the manuals, online help, metalink, technet, etc.) and hence my appeal here.
Am I missing something? Is one able to change the properties of gridlines? (I know that you can make them completely disappear if you want..)

This setting is supported today in Discoverer Desktop. Discoverer Plus (web) does not yet have this level of fine grain formatting. This enhancement is targetted for a future release.

Can we change the properties of the Page in Portal?

You can change the page properties. Right click on portal page > object. it will open the page object properties.
If a page is locked, you can open it in read-only mode. then you need to unlock the page object. refer to [Page Editing|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a3/badf3d48b05d5ae10000000a11405a/content.htm]

Is is possible to do that in the VO java layer?Absolutely, no it is not. You cannot access the view layer components from the model like that.
Sounds like what you want to do is this:

Can I change export properties ? ?

I wish make a file .mov, with transparent background, and LT make it, but the file are more heavy, this is the reason of my question.
Livetype can change properties export, to make a file ??. How I do ??. Or I need use QT 7.0.2 Pro, to do it ?? in this case, how do it ? ?

To keep the alpha channel, transparency, you must use the ANIMATION codec. That is the default codec for LiveType renders. The files are heavey and large, yes.

I have a seeded item (Button 'Apply') on an Add attachement page provided by Oracle in Self Service Web Module. Oracle documentation says this:
If you want changes to the Attachments table or page to commit automatically, without requiring a user to select Apply in the base page, you can turn on "auto-commit" by setting the Automatic Save property to True for the attachmentLink, attachmentTable, or attachmentImage item.With "auto-commit" turned on, each action ("Add", "Update", "Detach") performed by the user in the Attachments table or page is automatically committed.
Q1) How we can see the properties of the seeded items?
Q2) How we can turn on the personalization pencil button of an item that is disabled by Oracle development team?
Please let me know how we can achieve this through self-service personalization. Any light on this.

You donot need to do anything on the Add Attachment page. The autoCommit feature is exposed as a property on the Attachment bean. You need to extend the controller in the base page where the attachment Image, Link is present and get a handle to the attachmentBean and call setAutoCommit(true) which will enable automatic saving.Use personalizations to modify the controller class property on the base page. You can later choose to remove the Save button on base page using personalization.

Can't change displayed properties in resource renderer

Hello everybody!
I'm trying to do display a very simple list of filenames in a KM navigation iView. I've assigned a layout set, which references a collection renderer and a resource renderer. In the resource renderer, "Visible Properties" is set to rnd:displayname(contentlink).
But still I get a list with filename, file size and timestamp. No matter what I put in the "Visible Properties" field, the same thing is displayed.
I've verified that the layout set references the correct resource renderer by changing other attributes ("Command Display", for instance), and these changes do have an effect.
Any ideas what might be the problem here?
One more thing. This iView is a dynamic navigation iView. How can I make the documents open in the content area of the portal instead of in a new window?
Any help is very much appreciated.

Hi Martin,
seems like you have selected a collection renderer for "structured output", like the grid or tree collection renderer. In this case the collection renderer is the one who is responsible of the properties displayed.
So what you have to do is edit the parameter "Displayed Properties" of your collection renderer with the properties you want to display.

PS: The iView Property "Launch in New Window" should be set to "Display in Portal Content Area", in order have the iView displayed as you wish.

Can't Change IP properties is greyed, Can't Open IE

Hi all,
I've getting a big issue with my application server running windows server 2008 R2.
When trying to change IP the TCP/IP properties remains greyed, Can't open Internet Explorer.And can't run some application as they required administrative rights to write to registry.
I logged in as a domain admin and also as administrator on local and same problem.
I've tried to do a full scan, download malaware and couldn't found any threats.
Any help here please.

How can I change the properties of only one element in an array of booleans?

I'm displaying an array of booleans to my operators, with each boolean in the array representing some system status check. Some of these checks are critical and some are not, therefore I want some of these booleans to have a different color when in the TRUE state (Red for the critical ones and Yellow for the non-critical ones). I can change the boolean colors with a property node, but that effects every element in the array. Is there any way to change a property of an individual element in an array? I know that I could take the incoming array and break it into two arrays - one for critical and one for non-critical, but this system is replacing an older system and the operators are accustomed to seeing their indicator lights a certain way and I'm trying to replicate what they had exactly.

Can't change font properties on MyriadPro text

The touchup text tool requires me to change the font before to edit some text but this weird myriadPro won't let me change it.
The third and last message that pops tells me that "The change to a different font wan't done because the chosen font and the font encoding in the document differ and could not be resolved"
What could I do? Sender has told me the original document was "editable"...

But is there a substitution font listed or is it using the encoded font (if so, it is embedded). You might try to select the text with the touchup text tool and see if you can find a compatible font with the same encoding to change the font to. If you are successful, you can then edit with the new font that you have selected.

Can we change VI properties without actually opening it?

I am making executable out of my VI. I wished that the window should close once we exit the program through exit button. Hence I used "Quit Labview" function from Application Control pallette. At the same time inadvertantly I have set the VI properties as "Run when opened" and also disabled "Show run button" and "Show Abort button" options. Now when I open the VI, it starts running, it doesn't show run or abort buttons and when I press exit button to quit the program, it closes the Labview. Now I am unable to edit it's properties. Can any body tell me if there is any way of editing VI properties without actually openig the VI? Thanks and regards.

Alternatively, if you have LabVIEW 8.0 or higher, open the VI from within a LabVIEW project. It will open in edit mode.

Can not change project properties (crashes when opening)

I try to change the project properties when I go to open it livetype crashes

I had this same problem... but only with one account. Another account on the same machine worked fine. So... I studied the crash report searching for the short user name of the crashing account and found one file that was unique to this user...
/Users/<my user account>/Library/ColorPickers/RCWebColorPicker.colorPicker
I deleted it and now Project Properties in LiveType works fine!
There seems to be an update to this color picker:

Can't change DataTable properties the first time the table is loaded.

I just want to change dynamically the value of columClasses in my DataTable with dataTable1.setColumnClasses(mystylesheet). It works fine when i use any link or button on my page, but the first loaded, the dataTable never change. I put my code in the constructor, in the beforeRenderResponse(), in afterRenderResponse(), without success.
Any idea ?

Here are the steps I followed:
1. Added the following lines in the stylesheet (created a new class)
.column-appearance {
background-color: cyan
2. Dragged and dropped a datatable
2. In the constructor of Page1.java added the following line of code
dataTable1.setColumnClasses("column-appearance");
3. Save and run the application
4. The datatable is rendered with the columns having cyan as the background color
Is it the same as what you are trying or having I missed out anything???
