Can't change my Apple ID for using the cloud

I had to change the e mail of my Apple ID as it no louder works but now I can't log into my iCloud and FaceTime as it has the my old address and it won't let me change it please help

Go to Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID and sign out.  Then do the same thing in Settings>Messages>Send & Receive.
Then, to change the ID for iCloud, if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
Then go to Settings>FaceTime and Settings>Messages<Send & Receive and sign back in with your current ID too.

  • How can I change my Apple ID for iCloud on iPhone 5 with iOS7?

How can I change my Apple ID for iCloud on iPhone 5 with iOS7? When I updated to iOS7 it kept my old ID on some features and my new one on others. I was able to change my Apple ID on all apps except iCloud. I don't have the original email account I used when setting up my iPhone with the old Apple ID and I have no clue what the password was. It appears I first need to turn off "Find my iPhone" which requires the old Apple ID, then I can delete the iCloud account. I want to use my current Apple ID to be able to use the "Find my iPhone" feature in iOS7. I hope someone can help!!

That doesn't help. It's an old email that doesn't work anymore. Please read the entire post. iOS7 won't let you delete iCloud unless you have the password for the old/inactive email/Apple ID.
You never mentioned that you didn't have access to that email.  There are some specific steps you can perform to retrieve the old Apple ID password.

You can't go to System Preferences>Desktop&Screen Savers and change the display? Try it and see. I've never seen that problem.

IS THERE A CHARGE FOR USING THE CLOUD?

Answer is yes. iCloud will charge you $40 a year which you cannot cancel.  It will show first as "Complimentary" $20 charge for $40 storage and then automatically charge you $40 a year thereafter.
This is incorrect.  I hope you did not base it on the misplaced dollar sign in my post in your other thread.

  • I can't change my Apple ID for iCloud on my iPhone or iPad...

Recently my email was hacked. I've changed my Apple ID email address and my Mac now works with this ID. However, I can't delete my iCloud accounts on my iPhone or iPad as it asks for the old password (for the old ID) to turn off "find my" and this account is no longer in use...any help?
    Thanks,
    Lewis

If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID.

  • HT5622 How can I change my Apple ID for iCloud?

I changed my Apple ID email and it changed for everything but iCloud and now I cannot buy more storage because it says wrong password when really it's the wrong email but it will not let me change it.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.
If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID.

Please help with changing Apple ID for icloud account on iPHone 5S. I have reset my Apple ID on iphone using itunes and app tab on settings.

    Hello there, KunnufromAndover.
The following Knowledge Base article provides great information on steps to take after you've made changes to your Apple ID:
Apple ID: What to do after you change your Apple ID
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5796
    iCloud
iOS 6 and later: Go to Settings > iCloud.
If you signed out before changing your Apple ID, enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download to your device.
If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID:
Scroll down and tap Delete Account. Depending on what iCloud options are turned on, you'll be asked to confirm that you want to delete data from your device. To confirm, tap Delete. (If you're using iOS 7 and have Find My iPhone turned on, you'll be asked to enter the password for your previous Apple ID. Enter the password, then tap Turn Off.) The data will be deleted from your device, but not from iCloud.
Enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download again to your device.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Pedro.

  • How many devices can be under one Apple ID for using find my iPhone?

I work for a school and we were told by an Apple representative that Find My iPhone works for only 10 devices under each Apple ID. Is this true? If I have 30 iPads under 1 apple ID will only 10 of them show up under "Devices" on iCloud? Will we only be able to locate 10 of them?

Documentation related to the iTunes store indicates that a maximum of 10 devices can be associated with a single ID (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627).  I'm not sure, however, if that applies to iCloud or not.  If it does, you could always assign a different Apple ID and associated iCloud account to each group of 10.  You could still track them all; you would just have to sign into each iCloud account separately to track the devices associated with that ID.  Apple may also have other enterprise solutions that would be available to your situation.  You should contact Apple directly to inquire about this.
