Can't change RAM configuration without ConstantSecure complaints

Basically we bought a T400 off ebay and wanted to up the RAM from 2 X 2gb sticks, to 2 x 4gb sticks. As soon as we change the RAM we get "binary modules which failed authentication: TRSF" , which prompts you to go into bios, and bios says something about the system being protected by ConstantSecure Anti-Theft Protection. Under ConstantSecure in the bios it says it's activated, if we revert the memory to 4gb the system will boot again, and in the bios constantsecure is not activated. We tried to flash the bios to the latest, but it already is, no option to try going to an older bios either. Reset the bios to defaults, no change, pulled CMOS battery, no change. And yes, have tried multiple sticks of RAM, we have a few T400's to pull from so that's been tried as well. I called lenovo and they won't help because the laptop is out of warranty. Tried google searches and can't find anybody who encountered and solved this issue. Some articles lead you to the Absolute company for their Computrace product. I called them and they verified it's not their antitheft system that's active, but the constantsecure one and told me to call lenovo, which of course didn't pan out....please help!

You need an English language version and there is no en-US language pack in Firefox 3.6. If you do not want the download the en-US version then you can install the en-GB language and switch to that version and remove the Spanish es-ES language pack from the chrome folder in the Firefox program folder.
You can find all language pack here:

You can install language pack just like extensions.<br />
You can set the pref "general.useragent.locale" to the preferred language ("en-GB") on the about:config page.<br />

Hy i used a frendz card to pay for the subscription for the first time.can we change card details and resune with our ongoing subscription? I had to.cancel the original subscription but it still asks... Reactivate it ? Will thr be an option to change the card details ?

Hi oyeitsmee,
I can see from your account that your subscription is no longer active. If you click 'Reactivate' button next to your expired subscription, you will be asked to enter payment details and repurchase it.
You'll need to delete your friend's card details first from your stored payment method as follows:
1. Sign in to your account: https://secure.skype.com/account/
2. In the 'Account details' section, select 'Billing & payments'.
3. Click 'Stored payment details'.
4. Next to your friend's card details, click the 'Delete' button.
Once you have managed to delete your friend's card details, you can proceed with entering your own card details.
Please note that Skype needs to authorize your credit card by creating a temporary payment request to your card issuer for €1 or similar amount in your currency. Don't worry - you won't need to pay this amount.

THE PROBLEM
The user open a specific application that uses ODBC to connect to the database.
If the ODBC (System DSN), is configured to "Use Oracle NLS Settings" in numeric settings, then the application deploy the numbers without decimals
But if we change the ODBC settings to "Use US Settings" the application deploy the numbers with two decimals
The usern doesnt have the privileges to change that setting, what can I do to solve this issue?

It depends on your connect code, but you may be able specify NUM= in the connection string.

Once you've done that the computer reboots and it's like the first time you used the machine. Your old accounts are all safe. From there you just change all other account passwords in the account preferences! (Use a new Shortname & such so as not to interfere with the original)

How can I change text height without converting to outlines?

I work in a sign company and often need to set up text at specific sizes. When text is CAPS it isn't so bad, but when in Title Case it can be a pain....
For example, if I need 2" high letters, generally it would be relative to the capitalized version of the first letter of the word (regardless of ascenders and descenders).
Some times I need to do several at a time, so changing them individually is very time consuming when I have to convert each word to outlines and then adjust each word for compensating for ascending and descending letters.
I'm wondering if there is a quicker way to accomplish this without converting the curves? Also, I notice that when I change the font size (in Character palette) to 2", for example, when outlining the text is actually smaller.

You may:
1) Tick Edit>Preferences>General>Use Preview Bounds;
2) Select the Type and Effect>Path>Outline Object.
That will reduce the Bounding Box to the actual bounds of the letters, and keep the Type editable.
Remember to untick Edit>Preferences>General>Use Preview Bounds before you get a reverse issue.

While it is not necessary to reverse the excise invoice, the fact is that since tax code was not flowing in billing document, I am sure, excise duty would also not be flowing, in which case, your excise invoice is also generated for wrong value.
I would be surprised if you say that excise values are flowing in billing document and also in excise invoice and if your issue is only tax, then as already suggested, maintain a condition record (with the date in line with pricing date in billing document) and try.

Can I change App Store without lying to Apple or is there another way forward?

I have registered an apple ID, setup all the required payment options, etc, but being in South Africa, didn't know how limited the South African App Store was.
I've done what I fear to be a foolish thing, without realizing the implications, told Apple the truth with regards to using the App Store and to which country I reside in.
I can't understand why the South African store is so limited in its content vs the US for example, I mean seriously, we're still paying in US dollars regardless of the fact that it's a South African regioned App Store.
Enquiries on how to solve my problem have revealed that in order to proceed, I need to represent myself fraudulently as being a US citizen. Websites galor even will offer me fake credit card details along with a valid Zip Code in order to register a new Apple ID.
I'm a straightforward sort of person and do not want to be forced to resort to fraud in order to gain access to content and an obviously more well stocked App Store.
My question is thusly, Is it possible to maintain my South African credentials, payment method being a South African credit card and gain access to the vastly better stocked content available to the US App Store without following the advise of those that advocate what I perceive to be fraud?

I have a song which is quite fast, so I tried to record it slow then increase the tempo after I'd recorded it. The problem is when I do this, the vocals get all distorted and sound wavy.

I see your point, but then why is it when you an import a song from itunes and increase the tempo the vocals dont become distorted?
I can understand how chaging the pitch of a track can distort the vocals, but not the tempo.

Can we change VI properties without actually opening it?

I am making executable out of my VI. I wished that the window should close once we exit the program through exit button. Hence I used "Quit Labview" function from Application Control pallette. At the same time inadvertantly I have set the VI properties as "Run when opened" and also disabled "Show run button" and "Show Abort button" options. Now when I open the VI, it starts running, it doesn't show run or abort buttons and when I press exit button to quit the program, it closes the Labview. Now I am unable to edit it's properties. Can any body tell me if there is any way of editing VI properties without actually openig the VI? Thanks and regards.

Alternatively, if you have LabVIEW 8.0 or higher, open the VI from within a LabVIEW project. It will open in edit mode.
