Can't change the weight of my strokes, color or fill...
I use artioscad wich has a plug-in for illustrator. When I'm working with illustrator i can't change the weight of my strokes, color or fill, in fact i can't do anything, everything is locked. I have tried to unlock the draw but with n o sucessm can anyone help me?? I have to make the illustrations for the boxes I draw and using *.eps file is not my solution.

I have tried many thinks, and tried what you wrote, but nothing. I'm new in this artioscad-illustrator, so probably I'm making something wrong. I just draw in artios and open directly in illustrator using esko plug-in.
I tried again what to told me to trie but with no luck.
I'll pass you a step-by-step what I made after oppening in illustrator:
I'll make my steps for you to undersatnd whats hapening.. because I have tried looking the appearance palette.. and its ok.
First i draw in artios, its a package software design which has a plug-in for illustrator (to open directly artios drawings in illustrator)
Then in illustrator i open it directly, the aspect is like this:
I unlock the chain of the layers and in the appearence palette apears just plug-in object.
I can select an individual path but can't change it. If I make a offset path with 0mm, I can change that path weight but not the original. But if i try to move the offset path or the original path it gives me an error "Can't move the objects. The command was canceled"
I have tried so many things that, realy, I can't remember all. I
have a menu that has more options, but none of them unlock the paths. Every time try to drag an anchor it goes right back to the original position.
The goal is to make something like the next image:
Today I dupplicated my layer and then made a offset 0, now I can change the weight, color and fill my shape. Probably I will find more problens in the way. This was the only solution that worked with me!

How can I change the default fill and stroke colors for new shapes?
As you can see in the following screen recording, after I change the stroke and fill color, all my subsequent rectangles are created respecting these new colors. But then when I delete all the rectangles, choose the rectangle shape tool once again, and start creating new rectangles, they start getting created with another color I had used some time ago (and I don't know how did it become the default color).

Thanks.When you have the shape tool selected you will see in the tool bar below - file edit etc a fill and stroke. This is where you can change the colours.
You can keep drawing your shapes like you did in the video but then select the rectangle and change the colour from this tool bar. The reason it changes will be because you changed the colours you were using (foreground / background) that display in the left side tool bar. -

How can I change the space between a checkbox and text all at one time? I have a lot of checkboxes in my form.
Okay, I haven't found a way to add an extra space using Find/replace, but you might be able to add some text wrap to the check boxes that will push the text away from them.
Open Find/Replace and click the Object tab.
Click the Specify attributes to find button to the right of the Find Object Format: field.
Under Basic Attributes, choose Stroke and then the Black swatch (assuming the black swatch is applied to the strokes of your check boxes). If there are no other stand-alone objects in your form with a Black stroke, this should be all you need. (If there are Black strokes on your table cells, they will be ignored.)
Click OK
Click the Specify attributes to change button to the right of the Change Object Format: field.
Under Basic Attributes, choose Text Wrap & Other > Text Wrap > Type: > Wrap around bounding box (2nd button from left)
Under Offset, set a Right offset at the distance you'd like to add (I don't know what units you use, but the 3-5 points might work for your purposes...might take some trial-and-error to get it where you want)
Click OK
Click Change All -

Can I change the store's language? (it takes from credit card country)

I'm living in the Netherlands with a Dutch credit card but want to use the iTunes store in English.
The store seems to set the language for your account based on your country of residence and clearly this needs to be right if you use a credit card (so it's authorised correctly). And it's worse - Apps for my iPad will be in Dutch!
My question is - can you change the language used in your account and the store?
I'm going to guess it's a No to this question so suspect I have to do something like setup a new account with a fictitious English address. So my next question is - if I use PayPal or enter my credit card details for each transaction, will this give the same problem?

ODIf you wish to run iTunes in a language that is not the default for the country that you are living in (and therefore paying from), the iTunes helpdesk point to this article. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2242 . This article indicates that the iTunes store should pick up the language you have assigned to your MAC, however this is incorrect. iTunes picks up the language from the country you designate you are paying from.
You can change the country by using the flag button at the extreme bottom of the iTunes home page, however this will allow you to find the things you want, but you must change it back to actually purchase the content.
If you think, as I do, that this is a fault with their system, the ONLY option you have is to complain to their helpdesk, email address [email protected] If you ask to have the e-mail referred to Ashley, maybe the sheer weight of complaints will get this sorted. -

Hi,
Stroke styles are disabled in HTML5 Canvas document type as the target platform doesn't support those. Please check your document tab if it reads '<yourfilename> (Canvas)' then you have created a HTML5 Canvas document.
If you have created HTML5 document by mistake, then you can copy paste your layers into AS3 document then you can change the stroke style to your desired option.

Can I change the VMSwitch Bandwidthmode?

I want to implement Minimummbandwidth on a previously created VMSwitch. Server OS is 2012R2.
I've created the switch without the parameter -Minimumbandwidthmode. So for me it looks like that this switch is in mode absolute.
get-vmswitch xxx | fl * -> BandwidthReservationMode : Absolute
When I specifiy the -Minimumbandwidthmode as "Weight" it shows
get-vmswitch xxx | fl * -> BandwidthReservationMode : Weight
According to the technet http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh848455.aspx it should be either absolute or weight depending on hardware or parameter.
Anyway, when I want to set the minimumbandwidth of a connected vnic I got.
Set-VMNetworkAdapter -name Cluster -ManagementOS -MinimumBandwidthWeight 3
Set-VMNetworkAdapter : Failed while modifying virtual Ethernet switch connection settings.
I can not find anywhere a possibility to change the mode and it will be difficult to move to a new VMSwitch as it is already productive!
Does anyone have an idea?

OlafYou can't change the QoS mode of a switch. The only option is to destroy it and start over. The TechNet article is incorrect as it seems to create in Absolute in most configurations.
You're right that there is no downtime-free way to recreate the virtual switch. If you've got a test environment, you could create a script that would handle the destruction and recreation within a few seconds. It would need to run through all VM adapters,
disconnect them, delete the switch, create the new switch, and then run back through and reconnect all VM adapters. It's trickier for your management OS adapters but it can still be done. Feel free to
rework this script to accomplish it. If you don't, I'll eventually come up with a switch recreation script, but probably not within the time frame that you need.

How can I change the age associated with my daughter's account?
OK I am sure that this is a common issue. Back when my daughter was about 9 or 10 years old, we bought her an iPod Touch. She was too young to have an AppleID of her own, so I set one up for her using an extra gmail accoun that I had, and entered my birthdate/age. A few years later, she received an iPad, and most recently, an iPhone. All of these devices are tied to the same AppleID.
Well, now she will be 13 years old soon, and I would like to switch things to represent reality. She has her own email account, and I believe you can go to My Apple Id to change the Apple ID name and e-mail address. My question is, can we change the age associated with the account?
I hear you saying, "Just create a new AppleID for her." That may end up being the only solution, but I am trying to avoid having two AppleIDs for her to keep up with. She has already purchased a fair amount of content (music and apps) under the existing AppleID, and I am pretty sure from looking at the posts on this Community that you can not transfer content away from the AppleID under which it was downloaded/purchased. And so, if I create a new AppleID, she will have to re-purchase the content to get it all in one place. As she eventually grows up and becomes independent, I would like for he to not have to "start over" with her AppleID.
Any advice or direction to information would be appreciated.I have a similar situation however a bit more complicated! It seems that when I was setting the birthdate I forgot to change the year so now my seven years old daughter shows up as a two months old! There is no way to change the birthdate because it shows up in light grey when I login into my daughters account and doesn't allow a change! The birthdate can be changed only when the child turns 13 however according to this she will have to be 20 before she can change it to show property 13 and here is where this is getting completely out of hand! After being on the phone with Apple's customer support for about one hour I talked to a supervisor and the supervisor of the supervisor and their only solution is to create a new Apple ID! However when I started reading it becomes more complicated because I already made their Apple IDs part of my family group. It seems like you're not able to just let go of family member that is less than 13 years of age. You can only transfer it to another family, so Apple is making sure there are no kids left behind It seems like the only option will be to "abandon" the family and then create a new family with the new Apple IDs. If all this sounds bizarre to you it sounds bizarre to me too! If I can just put the kids in the car and drive them to the nearest one hour away Apple Store and have them show their credentials confirming their birthdate I would rather do that than having to spend more and more time with this issue, but that was not an option pointed out by customer support. So folks keep in mind that if you make a mistake your children's age is set in stone until he or she turns 20 if they happen to be seven at the time you made the mistake and no one can change this, even Apple! Now on the positive side I'm glad I didn't do the mistake when she was 13 or she will have to wait until she's 26 Most likely I'll be calling customer support tomorrow again and I will let you know how it went!
