Can't change user preferences when Acting As a user

I've configured the 'Act As' functionality so as an administrator (Proxy User) I can log in as another user. However when I attempt to change any of target user's preferences I get the following message :-
"Exception occurred when saving user preferences to the catalog access denied for user to path /users/[email protected]/_prefs/userprefsxmlstore"
Proxy Level is set at full for all users.
I've tried changing the permissions on the users folders via the Catalog manager but doesn't seem to make any difference.
Any help would be great!

If you know and have entered and connected successfully to the weaker network whenever you come near it it will automatically connect to it.
If you want it to connect it to the stronger network you should go to the wireless settings and connect to the stronger one when both the networksare in range.this will make your stronger network as the default network connection.

Go here and select "Reset your password." You will receive an email message with a link that bypasses the questions. You will then be able to select and answer the questions again.

Have you got a lock symbol at the top of the screen next to the battery indicator ? If so, then depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can lock rotation either by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon; press home again to exit the taskbar. The function that isn't on the side switch is set via the taskbar instead : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4085
If there is no lock symbol then try a reset and see if rotates after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

How can I change Country/Region when I still have store credit balance?

I registed an iTunes account when I lived in Japan and I used Prepaid Card to redeem Japanese Yen to account (Country/Region=Japan). I have 60Yen in account now, this amount is smaller than cheepest apps (cost 85Yen).
Right now, I came back to Vietnam and want to change Country/Region and to continue purchase apps in Apple Store:
- When I change Country/Region, I received error message "You have a store credit balance; you must spend your balance before you can change stores.". But I couldn't spend money due to not enough money.
- When I change Payment Type to Visa card, I received error message "You payment method is not valid in this Store. Please enter a new payment method."
How can I change Country/Region when I still have store credit balance? Please help me solve this issue.

You can't change your account's country when you have a balance on it. 2. Tap on Apple ID>View Apple ID
4. Enter your password
5. Country/Region>Change Country or Region

Using Automator to change System Preference when opening an app

Hello everyone,
I have been using a Mac for a good 8 years now and I'm a happy user. I recently found out about Automator ('hey what is this little robot for?') and what it can do, yet I lack the knowledge of finding out what I must do to make a script to perform the following thing:
When I launch an app (FL Studio), I want the box checked next to 'Use F1 and F2 as standard function keys' in the Keyboard preferences pane in the System Preferences app.
When I close the same app (FL Studio), I want the box unchecked next to 'Use F1 and F2 as standard function keys' in the Keyboard preference pane in the System Preferences app.
I have found several other topics about this subject, however, those were about scripts when logging in to your computer, and not upon opening/closing an app. Please note that I am seeking for the setting to be changed when the app is opened and closed.

This kind of question comes up a lot - how to run a script when an application launches/quits.
The short answer is that it's not easy to do directly, unless the application itself supports launching scripts on startup/quit (hint: few do).
Fortunately, a little difference in thinking can give you the same effect.
Rather than trying to have your script trigger AFTER the app launches, rethink your process to a script that FIRST changes the preference, THEN launches the app. You get the same result but about 14 billion times easier to implement.
In this case, write a script to set the function key preference, then launch FL Studio. The script can then hang around to wait for the app to quit and reset the pref.
Furthermore, don't try to do this the human way (open System preferences, select Keyboard, check the box). You can set the preference directly via the defaults command line utility:

Resetting the preference is a little trickier since you need to detect when FL Studio has quit. You can do this with an idle() handler in your script that hangs around, periodically checking if the app is still running and then taking action:

I have to do a migration from OWB 9.0.4 and Oracle 9.2.0.6 to OWB 10.1.0.4 and Oracle 10.2.0.1. I have a New Server.
I have done a Partial Export/Import.
Then as explain the OWB Installation Manual on Chapter 3 Update to OWB 10.1 and Migrating Data I follow the Migration...
But I have a Doubt!!!!! In some places the manual say: YOU HAVE TO CREATE THE SAME TABLESPACES.
For example:
*) Pre-create the tablespaces in your Oracle Database 10g environment to exactly match the tablespaces in your prior version of Oracle Database
*) Whenever an upgrade instruction in this chapter requires creating a Warehouse Builder user, create the user with he identical schema name and default tablespaces as its prior counterpart in Warehouse Builder 9.0.4.x or 9.2.x
*) In your Oracle Database 10g database instance, connect as the SYS user and create the new Warehouse Builder Design Repository user with the same name, the same default data tablespace, and the same temporary tablespace as your old Design Repository
*) Make sure the names and tablespaces you specify for your new Runtime Repository and Runtime Access user match the the names and tablespaces from your previous Oracle Database instance. Both default and temporary tablespaces must match the previous version.
*) Make sure to assign to each new schema the same name, the same default data tablespace, and the same temporary tablespace as in the previous version of your Warehouse Builder Target Schemas.

Can't think of an easy way to do thie.
You could import by table - all tables in ts1, then change the users default tablespace, to ts2 etc.
Bit long-winded.
You could also pre-create the tables in the schema using the indexfile option on imp(port).
do imp...indexfile=impexp.sql
This creates a file (impexp.sql) with the table, index and constraints creation syntax.
You need to edit this to get the table creation sql, then change the tablespaces for each of the tables to the ones you want.
You run this to create the empty tables, then when you import, use ignore=y.

I have performed a test in my lab and found that the way which you want to manage the user account is possible when system is in Workgroup; but when system is joined to domain you don’t get the required management panel. You will only get panel as per your
1st snap.

Can not change user filed in CR Viewer

I am using Crystal Reports 2011 and i created a user field. i opened the report in CR viewer 2008 and the change filed is greyed out and the user can not change the field. I have tried saving the report with out a date saved in the report to see if viewer will prompt for a date but the report will not let me take it out now that it is set. i have checked options on the filed and it is set to editable. Is there something i am over looking? How can i get the user fields to work in crystal reports viewer?

viewer 2008 is the only thing i can find right now, i thought that might be the problem but i can not find a 2011 to download so i assumed they dont have it available yet.
the report does work in CR2011 but we can not get CR for everyone, and they are not going to use it, they only need viewer if it will work.
the parameter is a date field based off a database field.

Your frend does not have the right/lience to give the music to you. You should delete that music.
If he set up the iPod with his iTunes account you should restore the iPod from a backup of the iPod that should be on your computer. That will delete his music but restore your settings.

Do you know how can I change Connection Framework parameters in a Webdynpro Application? The app was deployed in TEST, now I want to move it to Production...
In my application I am using Connection Framework to connecto to a BAPI.
The connection was created using
SAP Connectivity > SAP Enterprise Connector.
I provided connection parameters for a TEST environment (Host name, system number, client, logon name...).
I deployed the application in TEST, but how can I change these parameters prior to promote it to Production? Were and how do I fill the new parameter values?

Hi Silvio,
AFAIK, you need to provide JCO connection to proxy port type and all connection specific data is there. (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ed/897483ea5011d6b2e800508b6b8a93/frameset.htm). You can use configuration files for this or RFC destination.
You only need to regenerate proxy when interfaces of functional modules are dufferent for TEST and Production.
BTW, why are you using SAP EC instead of adaptive RFC model in WD application?
