Can't check aol email in ios7

When I updated to ios7 it says i have the wrong username or password. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have been using two AOL accounts all day since I updated to iOS 7 and have had no problems at all. Are you getting this message in the mail app or on the server using a browser to access your email?

Can scroll through aol email only on internet explorer not firefox

When using firefox i cannot scroll through my aol email. I can only read the most recent 12 messages and deleting does not help. If i use internet explorer i am able to scroll down and read all. HELP!

Can't send AOL email from Apple mailbox.

Rebuilt mailbox, rechecked settings, Followed directions in Apple support and went through all preferences, but still can't send aol mail from Apple mailbox. I get the message," Can not send mail using the server smtp.aol.com:psyxprt". I can send email if I go through Safari and then to aol. Can receive mail. We have Verizon cable, if that is important. I'm about 4 hours into trying to fix this. Help!!!!!

Instead of accessing your AOL mail via Safari, setup your AOL account using Mac Mail.

v10.4.11 is a very oudated OS X so it's not going to work on Safari.
Firefox no longer supports OS X v10.4.11 which is why it's crashing.

Why do I have to keep entering my password to check my email?ios7 ipad

Ever since ios7 was released I have to enter my email password every time I go into the mail app on my ipad. I have multiple emails so I have to enter all of them every time. On my iPhone 5, the mail app doesn't give me a problem but the voice mail keeps making me enter my apple password.
It's getting very old and I've started going to my desktop PC to check email because it's so annoying.
Any ideas?

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

TS3274 I can't check my email. My i-pad tells me to turn off private browsing but it's no where to be found since I upgraded.

I upgradet my i-pad two days ago. Now if I go into Safari to check my other email, it tells me I have to turn off the private browsing.
I would love to do that, but it's no longer there. Please help!!

I can't access my aol email today.

I am using Firefox 3.6, Windows xp on my desktop.
Today I am unable to access my AOL email. This is the first time this has happened. I can access my AOL email if I use AOL as my browser. But I have always used Firefox with no problem.
When I click on "new mail".....it just keeps saying "loading". But it doesn't load.
Is there something I need to re-set?

Try deleting and recreating the account with the Mail app on your iPad.

The best thing to do will be to go into the account menu and delete the account to make sure we set it up with the correct server information. The steps to delete the account are listed below:
Menu
My Accounts
Menu
Remove Account
Choose the AOL Account
Once you have done this we can re-add the account with the manual setup. The steps to do this are below:
Locate and Select the Mail icon from your Applications Menu. You will see a place to enter your Username and Password.
After entering your full email and password, select Manual Setup. You should now be on the Incoming Server page.
Locate the drop down box at the top that typically displays "POP3" by default. Touch and change the selection to IMAP.
In the Incoming Server box, change the entry so that it displays "imap.aol.com". Nothing else should need editing; Select Next.
You are not on the Outgoing server page. Change the Outgoing server box so that the entry displays "smtp.aol.com". Nothing else should need editing; Select Next.
Assuming everything went through with success, you will now be prompted to choose display/account names for the email. If you are planning on setting up multiple emails, then label so that you can differentiate this one from the others.
Once you have done this it will begin to receive emails with 15 minutes.

Incoming AOL emails on droid incredible

Beginning one week ago, I have been unable to receive any incoming aol emails to my droid incredible.
I can send emails with no problem, but no incoming emails appear. Sometimes I get a "login failed" or a "network error" message, sometimes I do not. My husband has the same phone and also uses aol on his phone. He has not encountered this problem, he can still receive aol emails to his phone. I have deleted the account from my phone and reinstall it several times. My account settings are the same as the settings that my husband uses on his phone.
I have had the phone since early October and this is the first time that I have had any type of problem. Email has been working great up to this point.
I also have a gmail account set-up on my phone and I have no problems with gmail.

I can't update my email.

I am connected to my wifi and as i check my email a box appears that says "Cannot Get Mail The connection to the server failed." and i haven't been able to update my email since 1/25/14, how can i change it? I can only check my email through the Yahoo app.

First try resetting the Yahoo password and the going to Settings>Mail>Yahoo and updating the password there. Yahoo not infrequently has that problem

Can no longer access aol email on aol web site

When going on to the AOL website, my aol email account tries to log in but stops, says I need to change to aol basis because the connection is too slow (worked fine up to now). Doing this does bring up the email account but garbled.
Chrome and IE work fine with aol and email account.

Thanks for the reply Edmeister. All the tabs take a moment attempting to load, then the Inbox Preview screen pops up. I have even uninstalled FF and reinstalled it. I've checked my settings even though I've made no changes in months. Again, the mail box has never had a problem until about 2 weeks ago. Fortunately, I can retrieve my mail through my old Eudora program and do the house keeping through IE8. Just wish I knew what has changed, i.e., my fault or a program.
