Can't choose multiple items from drop down menu...

Been trying to hold down Control button while clicking, thought that worked before. Did I disable something unintentionally?

The Control key works like that on MS Windows. On the Mac, it brings up the contextual menu when clicking, i.e. it simulates a right-click. That works with both single button and multiple button mice.
You want to use Command (the apple key) for selecting more than one item, such as items 2, 7, and 5 from a list. You can also use Shift when you want everything in between so you don't have to click on each one, like items 3-8 in a list.
This works when selecting items in the Finder or selecting items from a list that allows you to select more than one item, such as Mail or perhaps choices on a web page.
Not all lists will allow you select more than one item since sometimes you are suppose to select only one.

Multiple selection from drop down : NWDS7.0 SPS18

Hi Team,
How can achieve multiple selection from drop down? I am working on NWDS7.0 SPS18. I have known the concept of item list box... is that's the only option?.
Is it possible to make it as filter option that we have in our Microsoft excel.
Customer wants select either/all options @once from drop down.

Create a node with cardinality 0-n and selection property set to 0-n
Create a table UI element and bind this node as a datasource to this table.
Set the selection mode property of this table as auto or multi
Once this is done, populate the node with some data elements.
When you run the application, you will be able to select multiple rows from the table.
To get the selected rows, use below code on the action of some button

Just want to know how to "Hide Unsorted Bookmarks from Drop-down Menu" ...

Best would be to move all bookmarks in the Unsorted Bookmarks folder to a folder in the Bookmark Menu folder or the Bookmarks Toolbar.
That would only leave you with the menu entry.
Clicking the star in the location bar will bookmark the page in the "Unsorted Bookmarks" folder and the star turns yellow (blue on Mac) to show that.<br />
Click the highlighted star a second time to open the "Edit This Bookmark" pop-up and move the bookmark to another folder or edit the name.

Do things in the following order:
Make the playlist you are going to burn, and open it.
Have the blank CD-R handy.
Use the command File > Burn Playlist to Disc.
When it asks you to insert a blank disc, do so.

Can't select number and type of tracks from drop down menu!

When I create an empty project you are supposed to be able to select the number and type of tracks you want from a drop down menu. This menu worked when I opened logic for the first time. In subsequent new projects this window does not drop down fully and I'm unable to make any selections!

I tried Eriksimon's solution which worked the first time i re-opened Logic, but reverted back to how it was everytime after that!
As you'll know when you launch Logic you get prompted to choose a template, so i slect empty project, then when the main window opens you're prompted with New Tracks drop down/pop out box. What I should get is a choice of Type - Audio, Software Instrument and External MIDI with another section underneath with Format, Input, Output etc... All i get is Number of tracks to choose and External MIDI as the only option! Even if i create the track any subsequent tracks are all External MIDI, no other options!
When i installed Logic i left off the Jam packs as i'm short on HD space at the minute, i don't think this would be the cause but it's the only thing i've left out of the installation. If i have to re-install i will, but it took nearly 2 hours!

Can't find "Libraries" under Windows drop down menu in Adobe Illustrator CC on Mac?

I was searching forums to solve my issue (as stated in the subject) but could not figure out why I am unable to see "libraries" on my freshly updated Illustrator CC w/ Creative Cloud. I am attempting to use an image captured in Adobe Shape but am unable to because the windows drop-down menu does not show libraries.
I was wondering if anyone was ever able to help someone solve there issues with this? Any help would be much appreciated.

You need to install Illustrator CC2014 which is version 18. You can log off from creative cloud Desktop app and login back and check do you have any option to install AI CC2014. Also please check your operating system meets the requirements for CC2014 version.

Delete web sites from drop down menu

There is a drop down menu to the right of 'bookmark star'. How do you delete web sites you no longer want here?

Entries in the location bar drop down list with a yellow (blue on Mac) star at the right end are bookmarks.<br />
You can remove such a bookmarked item that shows in the list if you open that url in a tab and click the yellow star in the location bar.<br />
This will open the "Edit This Bookmark" dialog and you can click the Remove button to remove the bookmark if you want to remove such a bookmarked entry.<br />

Populate a table field from selection made from drop down menu

I'm having a bit of head scratching problem that i just can't get my head around. I'm using Dreamweaver CS4
and phpmyadmin for my site.
I have a form that inputs a record into a table in my database.
The form is a user picking a fantasy sports team. A user selects a player from a drop down menu.
The players name is got from a recordset that accesses the player database, with the values coming
from the id field and the values from the name, so a user selects a player by there name and not
there unique id value. The code for this is as follows:

What i'm trying to achieve is that when a user selects a player from the drop down menu, their price is displayed in the table cell next to the menu. The value is held in the same table of database as the names and id values. I need to do it so the page doesn't need to be refreshed so i assume i need to use some sort of javascript, php and/or maybe ajax. However with java and ajax i have very little or no experience so i'm not really sure what i'm doing. I've been on numerous forums, looked in text books and have been searching the net for hours but i can't seem to solve this problem.
Any help or advice would really be appreciated as i just can't seem to get my head around it,

One way of doing it is submitting the form on change of the selected value and fetch back the query results. Have a servlet invoke the method and set the results in the request.
Another way (not recommended) is to fetch the results corresponding to all the values in the dropdown and have it in the session. The latter solution would obviously be slow.

Can't 'detect tempo' under audio drop down menu :-(

I am trying to fix up the tempo to quantisize a track and I can't seem to be able to use 'detect tempo' under the audio drop down menu.
When I select the region and then click on 'detect tempo' I am told that there are 'no regions selected'.
I selected the regions in both the main window and in piano bar seperately but still no luck.
Any help would be fantastic!

You may try the list.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Can't get the default spry drop down menu bar ??

Every time I create a new drop down menu bar it comes up with one that has the same properties as the last one I created. And I can't fix that last one. I'd like to start over but DW won't let me. Help?

If you are trying to insert a new menu bar with different properties than the last, for instance when you want to start over with a fresh styling approach, remember that the menubar css file will apply to all menus in the site, unless you distinguish the menus with an id on the containing element (div).
Go ahead and delete the old css file from the SpryAssets folder, if you want to start over. When you insert the new menubar, a new css file will also be installed.
You might find it useful to keep on hand (in a separate folder, out of the site folder) a 'clean' and new menubar css file, for use troubleshooting (by comparing the original with your edited version) or for copying into the site in this kind of situation. But if all you want is a new original copy, just following my suggestion above will work.

Triggering a database query and region update from drop-down menu selection

I suspect this must be covered somewhere in some how-to or documentation but Google hasn't been of much help here:
A user is filling in a form. The first entry in the form is a drop-down menu. Upon the user selecting a value in the menu I would like to query existing entries in the DB and present results to the user, in a region to the right hand-side of the form, as guidance (i.e.: "here's what we already have for this component").
I am unclear as to whether I should be using computations, javascript or a combination of both here. Pointers welcome. Thanks in advance.

Linking to page in main frame from drop down menu movieclip

I have a drop down menu movie clip on the 3rd frame with links that I want to link to pages on the main frame. I tried linking them the same way as if they were on the same main frame but I'm guessing it's not working because the drop down menu is on a sub frame of the movie clip. Any way around this?

In AS3, _parent and _root are replaced by parent and root. And almost always in implementing them you need to caste them as object types. Try using...
MovieClip(this.root).gotoAndStop("3");
