Hmm, interesting that sites like airprint activator and others have sprung up to support the what seems like a problem with ipad wireless printing....and reading the many discussions here, it seem there is still a big problem between the devices that everyone has a different take on....I'm just glad I don't HAVE to print from my iPad......cause it ain't happened...

Because her machine is a Chromebook therefore you CAN'T use the CD and/or using software and drivers on the support site. Only Windows and Mac software and drivers. On the other hand, your printer is not an ePrint printer therefore please try:

Can not get ipad2 to print, printed the first time set the printer but will not print now. Mini ipad prints just fine on the HP printer. Ipad recognizes printer but will not print to it.

It sounds like you cannot print from your network printer on your MacBook. Printer issues can be a but tough to nail down, but I would recommend trying the troubleshooting in this article named:

Follow these steps until the issue is addressed:
Make sure that the printer is powered on, has ink / toner, and that there are no alerts on the printer’s control panel. Note: If you cannot clear an alert on the printer's control panel, stop here and check the printer's documentation or contact the manufacturer for support.
Ensure the printer is properly connected to a USB port on the Mac or AirPort base station / Time Capsule. If the printer is a network-capable printer, make sure that it is properly connected to your home network.
Use Software Update to find and install the latest available updates. If an update is installed, see if the issue persists.
Open the Print & Scan pane or Print & Fax (Snow Leopard) pane in System Preferences.
Delete the affected printer, then add the printer again.
If the issue persists, try these additional steps:
Reset the printing system, then add the printer again.
If the issue still persists, reset the printing system again. Download and install your printer's drivers. Then, add the printer again.
Contact the printer vendor or visit their website for further assistance.

Look on Kodak's site. They have several options with Google Docs to enable you to print. The exact capabilities vary from model to model.
Also, you can use third party apps. I have print n share and it works just fine with my Kodak printer, but there's also printopia and print central and more I'm sure.

I don't think you can connect a printer since you won't have the printer drivers. I use FingerPrint from collobos.com to print to my non-AirPrint printers.

try tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings

I downloaded Microsoft word for my iPad 2. I hit the print button, and it said your printer is not on the AirPrint list. I have a canon MG 5220. Does this mean I cannot print from my iPad? Or will I need to download another app?
