Can't configure EPM modules after ODI 11.1.1.6 install
So recently ran the EPM 11.1.2.1 install on my windows server r2 x86. I have configured foundation. Then i proceeded to install ODI 11.1.1.6. ODI installed successfully and runs. Although now I can't configure essbase with shared services. Anyone know how to fix this. I followed some guides and I can't figure out whats going wrong.

With out Controlling module configurations, can we Configure PP module dire
< MODERATOR: Message locked. Please read the [Rules of Engagement|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/home/rulesofEngagement] before posting next time. Use an appropriate title. >
Hi Experts,
With out Controlling module configurations, can we Configure PP module directly?
Thanks
ChandraHi,
Yes you can configure PP with out CO but you will not get Product Costing results for the materials used.
You will not be able to link Activities, Cost Centers, Over Heads which are production activities.
Cost Analyisis for the Order will not be possible.
To say in brief Cost related entries or break up is not possible if CO is not implemented.

I can't configure elan touchpad after service
Hi!
My laptop is G580, i7. OS: Windows 8.1.
After service (touchpad change), I can't configure the new one. I tried with different drivers - installing and uninstalling - nothing has change. "Options" in "ELAN" tab doesn't work.... When I start programs in Elantech folder, I change the settings, but it doesn't affect touchpad. Please, help!

Can't configure personal cloud after firmware uppdate
I recently bought in ix2-device. I uppdated the firmware to version 4.1.108.32627 with the result that I now can't configure a personal cloud.
When I try, the browser opens the domain https://portal.iomegacloud.com with an error message saying the page can't be displayed.
Something must have gone wrong at the uppdating for the firmware. But what? And how do I fix this?Hello all,
If you are experiencing problems setting up or using personal cloud, please double check that port forwarding is in place and shown as open if using a port checking utility. (80, 443 for remote web browser access, 50500-50599 for LSM/basic cloud functions) How do I set up my router for Personal Cloud?
At that point please contact LenovoEMC support to create a support incident and troubleshoot for your specific circumstance.

Can't load nvidia module after kernel and nvidia update
After latest kernel (3.6.36.2) and nvidia (260.19.29) upgrade xorg doesn't work. I investigated a little, and that's what I found:
# modprobe nvidia
FATAL: Error inserting nvidia (/lib/modules/2.6.36-ARCH/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.ko): No such device
I blacklisted nouveau module:
# cat /etc/rc.conf | grep nouveau
MODULES=(b43 vboxdrv !nouveau)
but it didn't help.

How can I configure Snow ABS after updating firmware to 5.7?
I have a 3 Mac network (G5 w/Tiger,vers A iMac and Wallstreet PB w/ Panther) connected by Snow ABS extreme that's been running perfectly for a couple of years. I updated the firmware on the ABS to 5.7 in efforts to have a configuration my Treo 650 with Enfora WiFi adaptor could join (it's 802.11b only and Enfora suggested updating the firmware and selecting b/g option). After the firmware update, Airport Admin Utility doesn't see the ABS unless I connect it to the G5 running AAU by ethernet (don't know if it's a crossover but I read on the forum it now doesn't matter). Trouble is when I then give my password, try to configure I get "The Airport Admin Utility was unable to read the configuration on the selected base station...an error occured while reading the configuation". I've tried updating the FW again, soft and hard resets, made sure I have the latest AirPort (4.2.1)and nothing helps. I pulled out my original snow ABS (not extreme) and my DSL and whole network function like before. I like the extreme since I can use my Airport Express to print for everybody and it then completes my coverage much better. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

G5 Mac OS X (10.4.6) iMac vers A, Wallstreet PB (both 10,3,9)There is no reason to be running beta software, I doubt it will even still run as iOS 6 has been officially released. Or were you simply trying to be funny?
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved. -
Can't configure Reporting Services after installation
Environment: SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services Enterprise on Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise
Reporting services was installed for me by admins with "install but don't configure" option. My domain account is a member of local administrators group, but when I open Reporting Services configuration manager, I can't go to any of the tabs
other than the Service Account one. The Web Service URL and Database tabs are grayed out and inaccessible.
Any ideas?
thx!
-PeterHello,
In addition to above: make sure that Exchange 2013 is installed correctly. Check Exchange installation logs and run the Get-ExchangeServer command using Exchange Management Shell on the new server. You should see both Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2013 servers.
Hope it helps,
Adam

Can't configure Airport Express after firmware upgrade 6.2.
I have an Airport Extreme (V5.6) and I recently upgraded my Aiport Express to firmware 6.2. I was using the Express to extend my range and attach to my stereo for iTunes. I went out of town and took the Airport Express with me to use in my hotel rooms. Everything was fine. When I returned and I re-attached the Airport Express to the system at home, it said there was a firmware upgrade, so I went ahead and did the upgrade. Since that time, iTunes has not been able to recognize the Express. It tries, but cannot find it. I then tried to reconfigure the Aiport Express but i get an error message "An error occurred while attempting to communicate with the AirPort Express. (-8)". Does anybody have a solution. I'm afraid to update the Base Station firmware for fear that I might run into the same problem. I'm running an aluminum Powerbook G4(1.25 ghz).
Hi,
I don't really know the solution, but the Airport Express firmware is now at 6.3. Maybe you should use this latest one to see what's happen... -
Can't import grouppolicy module on a DC, with the GMPC installed
Hi all,
I've got a Windows Server 2008 DC which has the GPMC installed already, but I can't import the grouppolicy module.
import-module : The specified module 'grouppolicy' was not loaded because no valid module file was found in any module
directory.
I've tried removing, restarting and readding the GMPC from the Add Features section of server manager, but no joy.
I tried to copy the module folder from $pshome/modules from another machine, but this didn't work either - I then got told that the assembly can't be found. I then looked in the assemblies folder, and there's a few related to grouppolicy, but not the Micrsoft.GroupPolicy.Management
one it's moaning about. I can't copy these from machine to machine either.
If it makes any difference, we have three DCs for this domain, and it's doing the same on both of the virtual ones (the last, physical machine is due to be virtualised soon, so no point in making it work on there). We have two other domains that I've tried
to do this one, and they've both worked fine, although they're running 2008 R2 instead...
Thanks for any help!
JoeHi Joe,
The GPMC cmdlets can't run on WS2008, they require a minimum of WS2008R2:

How to configure FM module in BW after ECC6.0
Can someone advice me on how to configure FM Module in BW after ECC6
My company just upgrade R/3 system from 4.6C to ECC6.0. Before this Fund Management(FM) reside under 0FI (Financial Accounting) after ECC6.0 the FM reside in 0PSM (Public Sector Management).
In 4.6C, there is only 2 extractor for FM but for ECC6.0 there are a lot of extractor listed such as.
- FM_BW_BUDGET
- FM_BW_ACTUAL
ECC6.0
- FM_BW_BUDGET_DELTA_ISPS
- FM_BW_BUDGET_ENTRY_DOCUMENTS
- FM_BW_BUDGET_ISPS
- FM_BW_BUDGET_LINE_ITEMS
- FM_BW_BUDGET_TOTALS
- FM_BW_ACTUAL_CO_LINE_ITEMS_IS
- FM_BW_ACTUAL_FI_LINE_ITEMS_IS
- FM_BW_ACTUAL_ISPS
- FM_BW_ACTUAL_OI_LINE_ITEMS_IS
I need to know how to configure this new FM in BW and the 0PSM are not in BW System. Is there a different in configuration between BI7 and BW 3.5?
Before this in 4.6C the query for FM read from BW3.5 but since the R/3 has upgrade to ECC6 and our BW System also has upgrade to Netweaver 2004s, so we'll be using BI7 -
Knowledge modules files were not created after ODI installed
I installed ODI 10.1.3.5 on my Windows XP laptop and found that there are no Knowledge Module files in the directory ODI_HOME/oracledi/doc/km. Should these files be created after ODI installed or do we need to do something to create there KM files ? Appreciate if somebody can answer this ?
Thanks in advance,
RamHi Ram,
Are you talking about KM XML files ? If yes then these are located at ODI_HOME/oracledi/impexp
Under ODI_HOME\oracledi\doc\km you will get the PDF document about KM development guide .
Thanks,

Can't load line6usb driver module after installing from AUR
I downloaded the line6usb package from the AUR. After building then installing with pacman I should be able to load the module ala modprobe line6usb, but I get the error:
FATAL: MOdule line6usb not found.
I looked for the module itself and found it here(assuming this is it):
/lib/modules/2.6.27-ARCH/extra/line6usb.ko
Does anyone have an idea why I can't load this module? I'm still quite the noob with concerning things like this and I'm assuming it's something obvious I need to do.I downloaded the line6usb package from the AUR. After disabling failover can't configure interfaces
I had a pair of ASA 5510s in failover and needed to move one so I disabled failover. Now I can't configure any of the interfaces. When I put an IP on an interface and then show interface ip brief, it shows as unassigned.
What else do I have to do after disabling failover to be able to configure the interfaces again?Hi,
Are you not able to assign ip address on both the devices? If i am not wrong, you should be able to assign the ip address to the active one but not to the stand by one. There are two ways to assign ip address to the standby device. One is to reload the stand by so that it comes out of the stand by state.
Second way is to configure the standby ip address on the interface. For ex on the interface configure:
ip address 172.16.1.1 255.255.0.0 standby 172.16.1.2
The stand by device will take the standby ip address.
