Can't connect Coby tablet with Linksys WRVS4400N Router

My new Coby tablet model #MIC1125-4G does not connect to my wireless network which is secured with a WEP key. The tablet connects everywhere else (Starbucks, etc.) and all my computers work in my wireless network. My router is a model #WRVS4400N. So it seems there is nothing wrong with my tablet and there is nothing wrong with my router. Do you know if there is an incompatibility issue?

Try updating the firmware for the router.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Can't connect PB G4 to linksys wireless router when 64bit is established

Hello-
I have my PB G4 connected (wirelessly) to a linksys wireless router WRTP54G. If I don't have security set on the router, the PB connects. Once I add the security (64bit) and enter the password, the message "There was an error joining the AirPort network” comes up and I can’t connect. I've connected my other laptop to the network (a PC).
Any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you in advance.

Does your router support any other form of encryption? See if this KB article makes any sense to you.

Personally, I have a sneaky suspicion it has to do with the way your ASCII/hexadecimal password is or isn't being converted to something recognisable by the router. I use a Linksys router at home with a hexadecimal password generated from an ASCII passphrase, and that seems to work fine.

Can I connect a TC with BT Infinity router to form a network

My main router is a BT Infinity 5 in the home and the TC is connected to this router via an in-line system in an out building office. The system works fine in both places however is it possible to make one network? I would like to have one network so that I can use the printer in the office.

I am not sure what you are defining as in-line system.. but any ethernet or EOP adapter type setup will allow the TC to be part of the same network.

And it should be set to create a wireless network of the same name and same security and password as the BT router.
Where I have TC24ghz you type in your BT wireless name.
The TC is then setup as a roaming wireless AP in the network.. with full access from anywhere in the network.. but do not expect perfection from Yosemite.. it has trouble remembering its own name 5 min after a reboot.

Try disabling the start-up items in your computer to troubleshoot the issue. Follow the steps mentioned below:
Right click on the Taskbar > Task Manager > Start-up > Select the applications > Disable.

Ok, sounds like a really un-nice problem.
So, how do you try to switch to the TV? You have the option in your display properties, but does the machine *recognize* the TV? You have also the key combination FN+F5 to change the display, did you already tried it?
And regarding your display drivers (which vga do you have? nvidia or ati?)

Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”

After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.

Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

If you say that there is built in speakers. Most probably the connection is HDMi. You will need an adapter to connect the MacBook Air to the monitor through HDMI, at the same time, the adapter needs to support video and AUDIO.
