Can't connect to apps server

New iPad.  When I try to open app store message reads "Cound not connect to the server". Yet when prompted by iPad to get facebook app, it will download free apps. Any suggestions?

By resetting network settings I am now able to connect to macbook pro using bluetooth. However, when wifi is up on the iPad (lots of bars), I can't connect to apps store. Same message "Could not connect to the server". I can easily connect to the apps store using the macbook pro. I verified my apple ID in general>iTunes & App Store and the payment info, but still no luck.

  • Can not connect Weblogic App Server 10.3 from Jdeveloper 10.1.3.5

    Hi Friends,
I am trying to connect JDeveloper 10.1.3.5 to WebLogic server 10.3.
    I am facing some problems.
I used JDeveloper 11g to do the same and it worked.
I found that JDeveloepr 10.1.3.5 does not have any wizard for Weblogic 10.3 connection, all the available wizards are
    for server version 10.1.X.
So Please tell me if it is at all possible to do this.
The reason I am trying to do this is because I can not create composite applications, as my project works only with esb projects.
As I am new to Oracle SOA suite, I accidentally downloaded JDeveloper 11g and SOA Suite 11g etc.
But I found that JDEveloper 11g can not create any ESB projects, it can only create composite projects.
So I downloaded JDeveloper 10.1.3.5. So please help me configure this IDE with the Weblogic server I have.
If it is not possible, please suggest which App Server and OSB version I need to install.
    Many thanks in advance.

    @sweetfa:
Thanks a lot for your reply.
Although, I have to work only with 10g, but this info is helpful in that I will not try doing something that is not possible anyway.
And Mediator revealing the ESB project after migration was a completely new info to me and a pretty helpful one.

  • Can't connect to apps server on iphone 5s

Hi, I bought a new iphone 5s. I downloaded apps like viber and instagram but when i want to sign in both give me"can't connect to server check your connection". message. But my connection is perfectly work.
    Please Help me.
    Thnx

    - Try when connected to another networ.
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - Can other devices use those services? If not there may be a problem with their servers

  • I updated my software in my iPad, can't connect to App Store or iTunes, It says that I have to change to US account, right now I'm in Mexico, how can I change it to mu US account.

    Back up all data.
Unlock the Network preference pane, if necessary, by clicking the lock icon in the lower left corner and entering your password. Cllck Advanced, open the DNS tab, and change the server addresses to the following:
              8.8.8.8
              8.8.4.4
That's Google DNS. Click OK, then Apply.
    In Safari, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. If you’re using another browser, empty the cache. Test. Any difference?
    Notes:
    1. If you lose Internet access after making the above change to your network settings, delete the Google servers in the  Network preference pane, then select the TCP/IP tab and click Renew DHCP Lease. That should restore the original DNS settings; otherwise restore them yourself. Remember that you must click Apply in order for any changes to take effect.
    2. I don't use Google DNS myself, though I have tested it, and I'm not recommending it or any other DNS provider; the server addresses are offered merely for testing purposes. There may be privacy and technical issues involved in using that service, which you should investigate personally before you decide whether to keep the settings. Other public DNS services exist.

  • Can sign in with Apple ID, but can't connect to App Store for updates

My wife just received her new iPad on Friday. When she went to update the apps that indicated they needed to be updated, she was able to sign in with her Apple ID. However, after a few seconds of processing the message appears that her iPad was unable to connect to the App store. (She was connected to the internet through WiFi). The next day at the Apple Store, the same thing happened as well as to other users, including those at the Genius Bar so we are not alone. Any insights? We thought that by the end of the weekend the issue may have been resolved (high traffic / server overload???) but still locked out of the App store.

OK so here is what seems to be the problem -- Apps and under which account they were purchased / downloaded. My wife had downloaded a slew of apps under my Apple ID in the past, so when she attempted to sign in with her Apple ID there is now a conflict (this was not an issue before iOS 5.1 or so it seems). This simple fact totally prevents access to the App Store. This explains why my iPhone could connect to the App Store (it only has apps downloaded with my Apple ID) and hers could not.
So we sat down and made a list of all of the apps on her iPhone and iPad (the ones she wanted to keep), then went into iTunes and clicked on APPS (under Library in the left column). Once you are in there, a list of apps installed appears. Right click (option-click) on each app icon to GET INFO -- this displays which Apple ID account was used to download that particular app. (Thanks Rysz)
Thankfully all of the apps that were causing the conflict were free, so it was simply a matter of deleting these particular apps off of iTunes (on her iMac -- right click to delete) as well as her iPhone and iPad. Then all you need to do is re-download them when she is signed back into the App Store with her Apple ID.
After I deleted all of the apps, I again tried to sign in to the App Store to re-download the apps she wanted to replace. But I was still getting the dreaded error message stating "Can't Connect to App Store". So on her iPhone I went to Settings and reset the network connection, signed back in to our Airport WiFi network. Tried again, no luck. Signed out of the App store and re-signed in, and glory hallelujah -- I was now able to access the App Store and start the download process for both the iPad and iPhone (thanks Thom_D for the suggestion).
Once everything was back to normal, plugged each device in separately to her iMac and resynced in iTunes. Knock on wood, I think it is now working like before.
Hope this helps a fellow user out there.

  • Safari Not Loading Web Pages (Safari can't connect to the server)

I'm seeing increasing problems with Safari being unable to connect to websites. When the problem starts to manifest itself you see the error:
Safari can't connect to the server.
    Safari can't open the page.
Then you see the URL information. It is always seems to be sites that are trying to load HTTPS pages.
Clearing the cache and resetting Safari will make it go away temporarily, but it always comes back.
Note that when this happens you might happen to see something like this in the address bar:
    file:///Applications/Safari.app/Contents/Resources/

I'm having the same problem, I can open safari but when I try to go to a website it just says "server stopped responding." I just updated to the new version and that's when it started happening, it was working find before the update. Any suggestions???

    hi everybody!
i can't connect to integration server.
the connection to app server is ok but connection to bpel process manager and ESB failed.
still i'm not the one how make the installation (on HP-UX), i don't know the port number required for establishing the connection to the integration server. i've tried the default one 9700 and it doesn't work.
does anyone know where i can find this port number?

thanks for your replys but still have the same problem.
i looked to the readme file the only port that i found was 7778.
here are more details on connection test:
    TestName | Result | Details
Application Server Test | passed |
    BPEL Identity Service | failed | java.io.FileNotFoundException: http://hostname:7778/integration/services/testconnection/BPELConnection
BPEL Domains | not run | not executed
BPEL Server Mode | not run | not executed
BPEL Notification Service | not run | not executed
BPEL Task Manager Service | not run | not executed
ESB Connection | failed | could not establish the connection
when i try to connect to the bpel console every thing is ok, and the comand 'opmnctl status ' says that everything is alive.
    any suggestions?

  • Can't connect to AFP server via Finder sidebar

Suddenly I can't connect to my server from the sidebar.
Guest access works. But my default user login returns "Connect failed".
I can connect via 'Connect to...' and type in the IP adres.
I can connect via iPad with a file sharing app (like ezShare)
    The console returns:
Jul 29 04:54:39 myComputer NetAuthSysAgent[774]: AFP error -5014 mapped to EIO
    Jul 29 04:54:39 myComputer Finder[282]: SharePointBrowser::handleEnumerateCallBack returned 5
I've tried temporary deleting the /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration folder... no help.
    Any ideas?

    Try this:
    Uncheck Remote Management
    Check Screen sharing
    Add user(s)
When finished check the remote management again.
It has something to do with updating / resetting the cache files...
    It worked for me.

(PS, i found it by coincidence. I had the same trouble and was "playing" with these settings
    which resolved the other problem..

  • IOS 4 : removing the "can't connect to mail server" messages

Ok, since the new Mail in iOS 4 have a "global inbox", everytime i open the app without being connected on the internet, it send me 5 "can't connect to mail server" message. So i have to click "OK" five times before being able to use the app. It does that even when WiFi is set to off.
Am i the only one ? Is there a setting for that ? Do I have to wait for iOS 4.1 ? Does god really exist ?

  • I can't get email. Get POP3 error . can't connect to POP3 server. It's not email vendor issue ... c

Good afternoon. For over a week I can't get email on MY DASH.  Can't see mail in my Gmail Viewer.  Get a POP3 error ... can't connect to POP server.  Thought it may be a Gmail interface issue so tried to get Hotmail and then Earthlink email in the Chumby email app.  Both give same message POP3 Error , can't connect to pop3 server.  I have done multiplr hard restarts / power off / "restore to normal operation" procedures.  I have searched the discussions and community and can find no mention of POP server issues.  Please help .... advise.  I'm a disabled, but still working, senior citizen without a fancy, internet, cell phone and my Dash's ability to display my email is very important to me.  I have the Dash at my bedside and My Dash allows me to see a message from a client before I would otherwise rise. Kind regards, Martin

  • I have a version 7.0.4.  I can't connect to the server.  My capacity is 13.5  with 10.4 GB available.  Diagnostics and usage data, when scrolled to the bottom, tells me I have low memory.

I have a version 7.0.4.  I can't connect to the server.  My capacity is 13.5  with 10.4 GB available.  Diagnostics and usage data, when scrolled to the bottom, tells me I have low memory. How cani fix this?

Clear Safari, close all apps on the iPad and reboot. Then see if you can connect.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear Cookies and Data.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to each app then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If you still can't connect to the internet, you need to do some more troubleshooting with the network connection, but report back with more details if that doesn't work and don't just repeat the question in the text box are that you have to describe the problem. That serves no purpose at all.

    Hii,
I have a very basic level doubt, we all know that App Designer is 2 tier application/editor. But I observed lot of times, if I shutdown App server and try to connect through App designer, I get some debug error. Please can anybody tell me App server process connectivity with App Desigenr
    Thanks in Advance

Thanks a lot Ajit and Nicolos.. Please find below error message
"Debugging disabled.Communication failure during rec(): WSAECONNRESET(10054) connection reset by peer
    (143,41)"
How I am getting this error:
After login in App designer (in 2 tier mode), when I am shutting down App server (normal mode), I am getting this error only one time.
So my confusion here is how App designer debugging feature depends on App server?
    Thanks
