Can't connect to ITunes store, this is the only techie device I have, no computer, (only at work), no IPad, no IPod, I have tried the numerous suggestions HELP!

Can't connect to the ITunes store, I have tried the numersous suggestions and tips but still can't get it to work.  My IPhone is the only techie device I have, no IPad, no IPod and I only have a computer at work!  HELP!

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

    2. Tap "iTunes & App Stores"

    7. Tap "Change Country/Region"
    8. Select the country/region where you are located.
    9. Tap "Done".
    Note: If the change doesn't take effect, sign out of account and sign in again.

    Well I got the iTunes store working. Not sure if this will work for you or not.
    I logged in with my administrator account, went into System Preferences, selected Accounts, made the user that could not access the iTunes Store an administrator. I then logged in as that user, launched iTunes, and was able to connect to the iTunes Store (though it did seem to take an excessive amount of time the first time it connected). I shutdown iTunes, logged out of that user, went back into preferences, turned off Administrator rights for that user, and turned on any parental controls that were necessary.
    I then logged in as the user again and iTunes was able to connect to the iTunes Store.
    I was then able to sync his iPod Touch and download the 2.0 update without any problems.

    Since downloading the updates/upgrade version to iTunes, I have been unable to connect to the iTunes Store. I have performed instructions for Error TS1368 and HT1875. I have disabled my firewall and popup blockers; which still will not connect me to the iTunes Store. I have a desktop computer; which I did not upgrade. I have validated all the network connections, security center and performed all the suggestions on the Discussion Board and still cannot connect. I have removed all iTune software, etc. and reinstall and still cannot connect to the iTune Store on my laptop. Is it possible that there may be a glitz in the upgraded version? Since there appear to be numerous individuals have the same problem since the upgrade. HELP!!!

    Welcome to AD!
    The #1 culprit for not being able to access the iTunes store after an iTunes update is Norton/Symantec security software. It comes pre-installed on most PCs these days as a trial version. Even if you have never used it, and thought you deleted the trial version, it is still lurking on your PC.
    Norton has its own firewall (separate from the built-in Windows firewall) and it does not tell you when it decides to block iTunes.

    This software is so bad, you have to use the removal tool. The normal uninstall using Windows Add/Remove Programs will not get rid of it.

    I am afraid the are many possible causes for this.
    Have you ever been able to connect to the store? If so, did you change anything just before the problem occurred?
    The best way to start is to post your iTunes network connectivity diagnostics:
    Help>>Run Diagnostics>>Network connectivity tests.
    Paste the entire result into your next post.
    In the mean time, you will see a number of threads about this which may give you some help.
    Try briefly turning off your firewall to see if that allows connection. Think about other aspects of security software, antiphishing filters, popup blockers, parental controls. Web accelerators and proxy servers can also cause problems.

    OKay guys what happened: My ipad mini was working fine as good as it should be. I was able to install games and multiplayer with the apps.     Where did you get this iPhone?
    Was it new or second hand?
    You have to sign out then sign in with the correct Apple ID and password.
    Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: > do it here.

    We've all been there before. Fortunately, there are some steps we can take to troubleshoot. First off, let's verify that you can connect to the internet from your iPad in the first place:
    Open Safari and type www.apple.com. Does the website load? If not, go to Settings>Wi-Fi and select your preferred network. If you prefer to use 3G or 4G data, make sure you've connected that instead. Try bringing up Safari again and verifying the website loads. If not, you'll need to contact AppleCare Support for further troubleshooting.
    If you're able to connect to the Internet, but are unable to connect to the iTunes Store, make sure you can do the same from another device on the network (i.e. Computer, iPhone, iPod Touch, etc.) If no other device can access the iTunes Store, it could be a port setting or firewall issue with your network. However, if it's isolated to your iPad alone, the App might need reset. Try this:
    1. Log out of your account by going to Settings>Store
    2. Quit the iTunes Multitasking Session by rapidly double-pressing the Home button, holding your finger down on the iTunes icon until it giggles, then selecting the red minus sign. Press the Home button again to return to the home screen.
    3. Go back into the Store (Settings>Store) and sign back into your Account.
    4. Bring up iTunes and attempt your purchase again.
    If none of these steps help, I would contact AppleCare directly as it could be a software defect that iTunes support could cure. Calling AppleCare first would allow them to determine if there aren't any hardware defects, prior to forwarding your case to iTunes support. -They are very fast in resolving any issues and I've had nothing but good experiences with them in the past.
