Can't Connect to Safari, first log in

Why I can't connect to the safari, when i first log in, i can't go on other any site but Google and FaceBook.
and i try to use other browsers like "Google Chrome" , FireFox. It just won't load.
I have to open my Safari and let it run for while, then it work, and this crap on happen to my account. The administrate account do not act like that.

Safe Boot , (holding Shift key down at bootup), use Disk Utility from there to Repair Permissions, move these files to the Desktop.

(You'll need to Trash the originals of these following ones since move only copies them)

/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
/Library/Preferences/com.apple.sharing.firewall.plist
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist
/Library/Preferences/com.apple.networkConfig.plist
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.nat.plist
Then reboot once more. Setup your Network again.

It could be browser incompatibility or something else. When you say you can't log in, what happens? Is the bank website generating an error saying you're not using a supported browser? Does the login form for your bank account display as usual, but once you submit the form to log in it doesn't work? Give me a specific step-by-step of what you're doing, such as...
1. I load bankofamerica.com
2. I type in my login
3. When I submit, the page does nothing
Obviously that may not be your issue, but giving us details like that will help us come to a quicker conclusion.

Why Mail server can't connect unless I first startup a browser?

We have 2 iMac G5s, and we use a the regular "postage stamp icon" mail to call up our accounts from our local server. When I first start up the computers from sleep, if I click on Mail it opens and starts searching for new mail, but can't complete it (giving me those ! symbols) UNLESS I first start up Safari or Firefox, then, no probem, it instantly grabs new mail. How come?
Also, on another note, how come I have to re-login to the Apple Discussions forum any time I close and re-open my browser, even after just a few minutes. Is there a way to stay logged in, at least over the course of a few days of jumping on and off the forum?

I'm not sure where this setting "work offline" would be found
If you are referring to the Online Status selection in the Mailbox menu, I am always set to be online, never take my mailboxes offline.

Can't connect or create a log file

I can connect to my esxi 5.1 no issue with the onxy app - but connecting with the vsphere client on 1545 fails with "the request failed because of a connection failure" screenshot attached. If I try to enable logging to see whats going on the file doesnt get created, in any directory I choose. looks like a simple connection issue but credentials/ip are good. I noticed that when i make the initial connection with the onyx app it doesnt prompt for credentials to the esxi which i thought a bit odd, just goes straight to "connected..." is this by design?

I could not use my BT Yahoo after upgrade, and even after deleting the account from iPhone I could not add the Account correctly either.
It took several attempts and tried various Ports etc until it worked.
See my solution and if you still need help drop me a note.
Hopefully that will help.

CAN'T CONNECT TO SAFARI

I bought my iPod Touch(4g) 3 months ago and have not had a problem with it until last night, i have a good wifi connection and i can use youtube and everything else apart from my Safari, when i click on it the screen is just froze and i can't click on any button's at all.
Can anybody help me fix this problem please???

Terminate Safari by double clicking the home button to bring up the used apps tray, pressing on the Safairi icon until the red "-" appears, and touching the "-".
Go to Settings > Safari and Clear Cookies, Clear Cache, and Clear History.
Now try Safari to see it it functions.
If it still does not work reset your iPod. (press both the home button and on/off button at the same time until the Apple logo appears - about 10 seconds)

Are Parental Controls active on your account? Is a web proxy selected in System Preferences > Network > Advanced > Proxies?

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. First, disconnect all wired peripherals except keyboard, mouse, and monitor, if applicable, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including your login items.
Launch the application(s) and test. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode.)

I am trying to reinstall an admin password and got completely locked out. I can't get past the first log in

I am trying to reset my admin password. I think my computer was tampered with. I signed out completely and now, I am locked out. I can't get past a black screen. I'm unsure of my operating system but I've had laptop about 2 years.

If you boot from your install DVD and, after choosing language, go up to the Apple bar and select utilities, you can restore you admin and firmware psswds. You will these options there. Do not choose a firmware psswd if you do not need this, you may complicate your life, especially if you forget it.
I do not understand how you changed the psswd and why you cannot log in, though. Did you forget the new psswd or why? What do you mean by ‘was tampered with’?

Can I reinstall the previous iOS , my iphone is now a POS because of the new IOS . My iPad no longer has the YouTube app?? And what happened to google maps? Galaxy 3 for me and a google tablet seems like a better option. Nice job apple!!!

I would interpret this to mean that you failed authentication when you attempted to connect. When you attempt to connect do you get a prompt? If not (and I suspect this is the case) it would indicate a problem in setting up the group authentication in the client. If you do get a prompt then it would indicate a problem with the setup of your ID or password in the server or that you have incorrectly entered ID or password.
Be careful that group name is entered correctly (including upper case or lower case matching).
Be careful that passwords are correctly enterred (including upper case or lower case matching and no trailing blanks).

Does the iOS device connect to other networks?
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
