Can't copy and paste text into quark

hello, all:
i can't copy any text (single word, nor sentence) from mail, word, indesign into quark. the only way i've been working around this is by exporting the text i want to copy, and "get text" when in quark.
any words of wisdom much appreciated.

You might find it easier to export the file to Word under File > Export > Word in Acrobat 9.

I can't copy and paste text into photoshop because the copy paste option is acting up

Let me explain. I found some text on a website I wanted to us for my project so I copied it into a text box that I made in photoshop. I edited the text to my liking and then hilighted the entire text. When I go to copy the text by right clicking and then clicking on copy it just pastes the original text from the website I got it from instead of copying the edited text. I even tried ctrl+ C and it still pasted the original text not copy the one I edited. Last resort- I re-edited my text and go to edit and click copy. Still no fix it just pastes the original text. For some reason photoshop is thinking that the copy option is a paste option. I have no idea why this is or how to fix this. This was not happening about an hour ago so I have no idea why this is happening. I even tried restarting my laptop and I even tried a test in a completely new photoshop document and it still does this. How do I fix this? I have photoshop CS4 currently installed. Help is appreciated.

How to copy and paste text into email without HTML gibberish

I've had trouble for some time now copying and pasting text into and out of yahoo emails. I can't just copy and paste text, I have to first transfer to Word for Mac and then paste into a yahoo email. Then I end up with what looks like three lines of HTML gibberish at the start of the pasted text each time. Isn't there a clean and direct way of copy and paste of text into and from emails in yahoo? No other email I work with has this problem, and the Safari browser doesn't give this same issue

I have to agree with bmalmquist. Need for Speed seems to work great on the Playbook. I didn't buy the Playbook to play games though. RIM needs to shift their focus from games to useful and productive apps. The apps I need to use are either missing very important features, or are just completely missing. It is somewhat disconcerting to see new apps appear in App World only to discover that the new apps are mostly games. I'm seeing lots of apps that would help me waste time, but very few that will actually help me be more productive.

Or even better while the iPhone is connected to my PC can I view the address book on the iPhone and make changes using my PC keyboard?
I had a challenge importing from my outlook as it created dual entries for people I had with multiple email addresses or telephone numbers so I need to copy and paste contact info from one to antoher.
Can anyone help?

No. You would make changes to the address book on your PC and then sync via iTunes.

Cannot copy and paste text into Photoshop CS6

I am not able to copy and paste text from non-Adobe programs (like Keynote or Word) into Photoshop CS6. I get an error message reading "Could not complete the Paste Text command because the clipboard data is empty or invalid." I have tried shutting down Photoshop, shutting down other programs, re-starting my computer, adjusting my Preferences and asking Adobe for help by phone and chat. I am on a new iMac and have no third party plug-ins installed. Can anyone help?

i found error text message like you everytime when i used fontAwesome on Adobe Photoshop CS6 and then i found out to fix this problems Yeahh…
Try My Way to fix it out
-> copy The Text you want to use
-> paste your text (from your clipboard) To App TextEdit
-> then Copy again
-> back to Photoshop paste it on your document layout
-> Done

Can't copy and paste paragraphs into Blogger

Hi all,
I don't know why Safari can't copy and paste paragraphs of text into Blogspot.com posts, but I just can't seem to get it to work. It drops the text below the entry field every time, even if I have the cursor flashing in the blogger typing box (composer). It's just not working. Any ideas?
Also, wondering if Safari has any media download functions like Firefox's "Unplug"?

When I copy and paste text into Captivate 8, special characters disappear

I'm trying to copy and paste text from a PDF into Captivate 8. When I paste, all the accent marks disappear. (for example: ê shows up as e). I've tried pasting into other applications, and the special characters paste correctly, so it's a Captivate problem. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a quick fix?

I no longer see the URL of any website so can't copy and past URLs into any emails, etc. Is there some setting to make URLs visible? when I updated, the URLs disappeared. I'm on a MacBook.

When I updated to the latest version of Firefox, the URLs disappeared so they are no longer visible at the top of the Firefox page. I can enter sites, but I can't copy and past the URLs anymore. Why can't I see the http://... info anymore? Is there some setting I changed or what might be the problem?

Try this:
Click on the orange Firefox tab > Highlight Options > click Navigation Toolbar.

Copy and Paste text into AEFX stopped working

I have succeeded in copying and pasting two paragraphs of text from Word Pad into AEFX. (ie two layers). I applied Typewriter FX and adjusted parameters , exported etc all fine.
Took a break and now I can not seem to get the Copy and Paste to work and I have another 8 layers to do.
Not exactly sure what I have done or changed to stop this Cut and Paste method from working. (And I do not wish to hand type in the test if possible - Pharmaceutical Mandatories)
Any ideas? Thanx.

To reassure you: You don't need to do anything to trigger these issues. ;-) They happen regularly, yet under lab conditions there seems no clear way to nail them down... Most of the time restarting the system and starting with a clean slate gives back the functionality.

Can you copy and paste text in iPhone?

If you are sending text to someone, and then want to send it to someone else, the easiest way to do this on other smart phones is to copy and paste the text. This doesn't seem to be possible on the iPhone. Is it possible?

It has been said before - and many times: how deeply disappointing! And that Apple still hasn't come up with a software update to take care of this is even more disappointing. Get an address by email and try to put into the map widget . . . you have to write it down on paper. That's what we got iPhones for? It's the first time Apple has come up with a device that can do less than we'd expect.

Can't copy and paste properly into Keynote

It just pastes as 'Text'.... I can copy images from Google Chrome into Keynote just fine. But I can't from Safari.
I used to use Google Chrome but after updating to Yosemite I began using Safari and noticed this problem. So I don't know if this is a problem with Yosemite, or just Safari/Keynote that would've always been there for me.
How can I fix this?

I can't copy and paste text from a website. Why is this?

On any website I go to, when I highlight and try to copy text from the body of the page with my mouse, nothing happens.

Is this a recent problem...after the last update on Oct. 27, 2010? Were you able to copy and paste before the 27th?
My optical marble mouse has had a breakdown from the update. No longer can I do a smooth scroll in Mozilla. However, I can in I.E. and Outlook Express. I posted on the 28th.

I am having a problem with copying and pasting text into the Safari search bar.

For example, when I copy and paste "Organic Chemistry: A Short Course" it will change to Organic%20Chemistry:%20A%20Short%20Course"
It will then tell me it has failed to open page, even though my interenet is otherwise working.

What you tried worked for me. Try "Organic Chemistry - A Short Course" It took me to the same search result as what you are trying.

I can't copy and paste text from Word to a Facebook Post since I've been using Firefox. Why am I getting the background code? Internet Explorer lets me copy text from Word to Facebook.

I type my text in Word then open Facebook. I press Control-C to copy this text into my Facebook post and the result is that a lot of background code shows up.

I would use the older version so you can continue working while troubleshooting continues in CC2014, if you haven't uninstalled it yet (and it didn't also lose the ability to copy/paste).
Have you tried any of the usual suspects?
Clear program cache and/or rename config folder: Deleting a corrupted cache file
Restore Preferences: Restore preferences | Dreamweaver CS4, CS5, CS5.5, CS6
