Can't copy apps from store to iPod

I'm trying to copy a paid apps from the store to my iPod. I already got the Apps on my iPhone. I'm connecting my iPod, but when I'm trying to open the Device folder in iTunes and and click the "Apps" in the menu, the page turn out to be white/transparent and can't be accessed. Any good ideas?
Thanks in advance

You don't mention which operating system you have so it's difficult to provide an answer since the mac and Windows stores the files differently.
The other thing you can do is just re-download the apps from the iTunes Store. Just login to the iTunes Store on the other computer using the same Apple ID. On the right-hand side of the iTunes Store page you will see a 'Purchased' link. Clicking on that will take you to a page that will list your past purchases which you can re-download to the new computer.

My friend had this problem and he just went into his payment information to make sure it was accurate and up to date. He didn't even change anything, only reentered his security code. He then downloaded the app successfully. Thought that might help you.

  • Can I copy apps from my iTunes to another iPad

So I'm using my roomate's iPad (of course, with his authorization) and I want to copy all the apps that I have purchased on my iTunes to his iPad (again, he's very happy if I can ). Here's what I did:
      - Plug iPad in
      - open iTunes
      - select iPad and go to Apps
      - select "Sync Apps" -> select all the apps that I want to copy
      - Hit Apply
Then the problem starts. iTunes asks me "Are you sure you want to remove 100 apps, includinh "(Kor) Chinese" from the iPad?....". If I cancel then the sync process is cancelled as well.
Is there anyway I can do to copy the apps I have on my iTunes to this iPad without removing anything from it?
Also, what the Revert button above Apply means? I'm guessing it means moving things from iPad to my iTunes?
    Thanks

You can only have one account on the iPad at a time - for the very reason you've described (they don't want one person purchasing apps and sharing with other users). If you do put your apps on there with your account, it will wipe out all of his (and everything else tied to his account - music, etc). And when you put his back on with his account, yours will be gone. Apps are tied to the account, not to the machine.

  • Can not download app from store

    v10.2
    computer is authorized

If save to wish list is selected, there is a new dialog window which also offers to "download now" so at least that option is there.

  • Somebody knows why I can not download app from store of the other country?

hi to everybody, I have a questions for you, I have an iphone 4s ( I know its old) i tried to download some application that my friends have raccomandated to me. The app in question is QQmusic, there isn't in the italian market so the iphone redirect me to the chinese apple store, but when i tried to download (the app is free) i get the message that my prifile can download only from Italian market? So my question is: Why? How i can download from other countrie's apple store?

The 3rd party developers who create and own the content are who decide where in the world that their apps are sold, not Apple. If a developer isn't ready to provide the language resourses within their app or  to offer support for their app in a particular language, then they choose where to sell their app. Apple sells its apps in all of the app stores.

  • Can't get app from library to ipod touch

i bought a new app for my ipod touch and it is in the itunes library but does not appear after syncing on the ipod. it is rather large and i need it for work. i seem to have enough free space for it to fit, but i can take more stuff off (photos etc.) if need be. it is checked in the library before syncing and when it does not appear and i go back and look it is unchecked. ??? any ideas?

    hi!
    * Sorry for my last post, this is want i want you to search for:
    SYNC/ERASE
    * using the latest iPod Updater and iTunes Correctly:
    1. Run iPod updater, then connect your iPod shuffle
    2. After it recognizes the iPod, run iTunes
    3. The iTunes will not recognize the iPod shuffle.
    4. Close the iPod updater, iTunes will now recognize the iPod shuffle
    5. You could now sync/erase your songs
    * I think the iPod shuffle updater program conflicts with iTunes program:
Coz, if you just connect your iPod shuffle and let the iTunes run automatically, the iTunes will recognize it while the windows will recognize it for just a sec then disconnects it, that's why you couldn't sync/erase yor songs.
** Only tested in iPod shuffle, but i think this will work too if you got the same problems.
    * wait 5-10 sec for each steps (1-3)
i hope this would help you!..

    Apple the best

The iPad 1 can't run the newer operating systems. It'd be like trying to play a bluray disc in your 6 year old dvd player....it simply lacks the hardware to make the software run.
No suggestion about the camera, but given that Apple's attitude seems to be to focus more on the more mobile devices for photography (the iPhone and Touch cameras got features, the iPad and mini didn't), that is highly unlikely. You can tell Apple what you want, but you'd probably be money ahead to get a digital camera.
as to the photos, anything put on via iTunes has to come off via iTunes.Your main alternative would be to look for photo apps that offer file exchange that may give you more functionality.

  • How can I copy songs from one iPod to another?

I received a new iPod Classic (last generation) and I'm trying to transfer my songs from my old iPod Nano (also last generation).
My iTunes library is also split up between my two parent's houses and I only have half the songs on my Nano in this computer's library.
Is there a way to copy only the songs on the +iPod Nano+ (not the iTunes library) and drop them onto the new iPod?

*Is there a way to copy only the songs on the iPod Nano (not the iTunes library) and drop them onto the new iPod?*
You can't copy directly from one iPod to another, you have to copy the songs back to iTunes and update the new iPod from there. If you have any iTunes Music Store purchases the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. You'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod to a computer
The transfer of content from other sources such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, this is just a small selection of what's available, they are generally quite straightforward. There is also a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows or a Mac. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available at this link: Two-way Street: Moving Music Off the iPod

  • Can I copy library from Ipod to my hard drive ?

I lost most of my library and all of my playlists from ITunes. All of the music is still in my hard drives and still on my IPod. Can I copy what's on my Ipod back into my ITunes library ? If so, how ? I've got a 80 gig, 5th gen, video, and can't stand the possibility of losing all of the playlists. The computer I want to copy this data to is the only computer that was ever used with this IPod.
    My last post went unanswered.

For iTunes version 7 or later, then you can transfer purchased iTunes store music from the iPod to an authorized computer by using the "file/transfer purchases from iPod" menu. Note that the maximum of 5 authorized computers applies here.
Find out how to do that here.
How to copy iTunes purchases from an iPod or iPhone to a computer.
For all other non purchased content (your own CDs etc) try this method which works on some Windows PCs.
Enable your iPod for disk use.
    See: iPod Disk Use.
Open iTunes and select edit/preferences/advanced/general. Put a check mark in the box marked "copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library" and also "keep iTunes music folder organized", then click 'ok'.
Connect the iPod whilst holding down the shift/ctrl keys to prevent any auto sync, and if you see the dialogue window asking if you want to sync to this itunes library, click 'no'.
Then go to file/add folder, open 'my computer', select your iPod and click 'ok'.
The music files should transfer to your iTunes.
If this doesn't work (and it may not because officially it's not supposed to), check out the instructions/suggestions here.
Music from iPod to computer (using option 2). This a manual method using "hidden folders" and although it works, it is a little more involved than other methods.
Much easier ways are to use one of the many 3rd party programs that copy music from the iPod to the computer.
One of the most recommended is Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
Other free programs are Pod Player, SharePod and Floola.
If you want to recover just the structure of playlists from the iPod (and not the actual song files themselves), there's iRepo for Windows. which I understand has this feature along with all the standard features for these programs.
iPodRip also has the feature enabling you to reconstruct playlists.
There is also CopyTrans. This does preserve ratings/playcounts etc if those are important to you but this program is not free. It also supports video transfer.
